Mevo pretty damn good for a 8th of the price vs the other 2 industry leaders. Driver is where we see some major separation, but I think most amatuers can get past that, especially when you are paying 3k (including all upgraded data parameters) vs 20k+ Combine that with FS evolvong AI and very cool software upcoming releases, what's not to love about that little portable unit?
Yea when I switched Mevo to range ball mode (these are range balls) things got tighter, typically range balls with any limited flight to them should spin more so I found that interesting.
I don't mind a commented summary of your findings though... Your experience might catch stuff us mere mortals might miss. Appreciate this. Not that I'm switching away from Mevo+ for a long while. Even after 3+ years of faithful service I don't see anything much better for the price honestly. The software Tools alone are worth it... Other companies would charge sub fees for that level of fidelity. Is it me or the spin numbers on other two are rather low for pitches?!?!
I thought they were very low, it's actually a fairly decent range ball we use. Trackman we have issues with wedges indoors. First time on GC3 but it was slightly suspect.
Thanks Scott good to see. I have mevo+ and only concern maybe on drivers the spin seems to be way different than foresights which may leave me second guessing myself a bit. 7 iron almost identical across the board
I saw the difference too, I typically have way too much spin, like above 4000 sometimes if I don't control things, so I'm slightly wondering about these numbers showing consistently under 2000. At the end of the day, all are really good, and it's not the device as to why you wouldn't get better if you own any of them.
Trackman and Gc3I pretty much bang on for the 7 iron with only the launch angle been about two out. I find this with my GC3. Obviously trackman is getting the benefit of a longer flight in this test so can be pretty happy that the spin axis is correct
What makes you say that? One of these launch monitors was showing a spin axis that was consistently opposite of the actual flight, it wasn't the Mevo +
@@scotthogangolf you can tell by your half wedge shots that the Spin Axis doesn't match the ACTUAL flight...take a look at your shot at 2:25, -9.3° of spin would mean you intentionally hooked it and you can see that you didnt
Spin is super off on the Mevo. Double the GC3 most of the time. Trackman has a hard time reading the spin under 2k it seems but when above that the gc3 an TM mostly agrees on the total spin number. On the wedges that is...
Well I'll say this, the only time I ever hit a shot with less than 2000 spin is if I completely toe the heck out of a driver. Typically I struggle to stay below 3000. The wedges reading sub 2000 is just not correct. At the distance I'm hitting the shots, anything below 4000 is probably no chance either.

I think the lunch monitors are all just getting closer and closer, now it comes down to what they can do with the software

Yea, we have 2 of them, they've been in a closet for a while for a reason.
would be interesting to see the actual measured differences between ball contact and "full compression" as each is measuring at different points...
