Had the wonderful opportunity to be invited over to John Bindernagels home in Courtenay on Van Island 3 times. Bought a signed copy of one of his books and he gave me 2 of his famous Sasquatch casts, one he made from Strathcona Park and one from the famous Sayward tracks. What a true gentleman and kind person he was. RIP John.

John was a most interesting Human, often misunderstood by his peers Yet he stood his ground and stayed on track with his research. we bought him a coffee years back up in Campbell River@ the Beehive Cafe , we were on our way to film up in Church House a former residential school , looking back we realize we should have stayed in touch with him... I read Julian May's "Saga of the exiles " series of books ( several times .) and in her "future history " they are a protected species known as MEGAPOD and have their own reserves ! They are portrayed as generally benevolent and are psycically sensitive .
Those are Great Books, we here our huge fans of reading and have a substantial library Thanks FTS our friend from Wales for a perfect comment.
