I've actually pet Fransisco he's cute
Francisco is most likely a "she." That particular black and orange fur pattern is known as "tortoiseshell," and it is most commonly found with female cats. It is *extremely* rare for male cats to have that kind of color patterning.
@@tscream80 According to website CryoFreezer 33, Disneyland is using exterminators to kill the homeless cat population at Disneyland because they're using poison to kill rodents.
They don't want the public to know that the cats are getting poisoned from the poisoned rodents, so they're liquidating the cat population to cover up their PR issues.
Shnid Tastic I gave ha ear scratch today he loved it
@@tscream80 I have checked Francisco. He is a male! a male tortie! he's a rare one indeed!
There’s only room for one ruling Mouse at Disneyland, the cats will see to that! 😼😽😺😸😾
That was really cool. I love it when businesses adopt cats, it's such a mutually beneficial arrangement.
Me and my son saw Francisco passed out in CA adventure last week! Beautiful cat. We also met a black cat at outlet hotel. They won’t come up to you but they are friendly. They meow at you and rub on the plants while keeping their distance. So sweet ❤
Saw one of them on my last trip to Disneyland. He was hanging around the train tracks at the back of the rivers of America
My question is why hasn't Disney made a movie about their own cats?! LOL
Francisco may have a male moniker, but she is a female cat. Francisco is a long hair tortoise shell cat and that breed is female 99.9% of the time.
Francisco has been confirmed as a male cat several times. Only 1 in 3000 torties are male, but Francisco has been confirmed as one of them.
There had to at least have been one park attendant who put their bag on the ground only to pick it up later and see that a kitten had decided to use the bag as makeshift bed.
I almost always see perry at night in between jungle cruise and Indiana when the parks are closed. He seemed to be very skittish when other cast members walk by
becky looks just like my cat LMAO
I also lick the butter residue from the popcorn maker.
Tokyo Disney also has a bunch of cats. They're local strays, and it's cool to see them prowling around keeping the place safe!
If you ask me those cats are the lucky ones. They dont have to pay the entrance. XD
They are so cute
I seen one at WDW when I was working there
cats patrol a mouse's kingdom and there's never been an uprising? Of course they'd be hanging around the restaurants!
U know I see a lot of feral cats but I now have a goal to see one here lol
I can’t remember what cat I saw the last time I was at Disneyland (it was Big Thunder Mountain) but my husband saw them too. He wanted to pet them and I said no and explained they are working and the history of cats and Disneyland. 😻
Wonderful that Disney helps these cats by TNR (trap/neuter/return) & providing feeding stations so they can live out their lives in peace. Other communities & companies should do the same! Thanks Disney!
Happy #FranciscoFriday everyone!
Actually. Disneyland is okay with you petting a cat.
7:29 Francisco is my favorite Disneyland cat
Thank you for this video love the clips and information. Wonderful that you looked this up and took time to make this video.
nice myths and tales
Wouldn't Francisco most likely be female because they're a tortoisheshell?
All the Disney cats have their right ear tip clipped.
I did not know that! Thanks for the info
@@SecondStar The reason for this is to indicate that they are spayed/neutered. It is a common practice wherever there are feral cat colonies which have trap/neuter/return programs so that people know which ones are which.
I noticed that! Why? It seems cruel.
@@459luker So they disfigure them? That's awful.
@@kissofshadows21 It's not awful at all! They clip the tip off the ear while they are asleep during the spay/neuter operation. It doesn't harm the cat in any way. They only take off a very small amount, i doubt the cat would notice at all.
So there is a male calico? Of course Disney would have him, because that is crazy rare.
Heh...Lafayette.
This is so cute
Well they did make the movie aristicats
This is a purrfect video for feline lovers everywhere. Paws up if you agree. 🤣
Ya like jazz?
ive never seen any and im sad :(
if all the cats are spayed or neutered than how is it that they do not know the ratio of male to female cats???
Why did this video make me feel colour blind
The Disneyland Cats are not feral Cats since Disneyland owns them and gives them names and food.
Feral means un-tamed. There are many feral cat colonies that are fed by humans.
Francisco is most likely a female. 99.9% of all Tortoise Shell Cats are female. Very rare to find a male of that breed. So we call her Francesca. Meow.
*not a cat 😂
Francisco is a lady!! All cats that color are female. (It's bc that color pattern is due to genetic co-dominancew rich can only happen with two x chromosomes )
Thanks for the clarification! :-)
very informative but in the beginning the volume of the background music was TOO LOUD vs. the volume of your voice! next time tone it down a bit...
How they deal with cat smell?
Cat smell amazing
The cats roam in the wild. They don’t have to.
I wonder if they take cats? I'd retire my cats to Disney if they were old
Francisco is female. Male cats can’t be that color.
You pretty much did 0 effort and copied the page, red it out loud and took the credit
not fair i dont want smelly cats around me sure ill take dogs but cats no thanks!
They probaly have litter boxes that they use and are cleaned.
@@MelloCritic they still need a bath not a dirty tongue
@@MelloCritic clean themselves! they get hairballs stuck and then throw them on your floor
@@yourefatandlazy Apparently you know nothing about cats. They are very clean animals, and have no odor, as opposed to dogs, Just try to give one a bath. Just be sure you have plenty of bandaids handy.
