Sasha's label, Last Night On Earth continues to maintain it's forward thinking approach to releasing a diverse range of quality electronic music.
Finally seeing the light of day is Sasha's take on Hot Chip's "Flutes". Having been a firm favourite and closing track of many of his recent sets, he twists it in to his classic melodic vibe that only he does so well, taking the original into a new dimension for the clubs and festivals.
Beautiful synth work builds and breaks throughout the track, with tight drum programming keeping the track flowing and taking you on a melodic journey, as only Sasha can do.
I cant believe I just found this gem this week. I think Ive played it 100 times already. Such a floor-filling slaptastic groove we have here.

Still listening to this in 2021
Only been to three Sasha gigs in my life due to how far away I live from cities but all 3 times he dropped absolute monsters as the final song. First gig was Doves- Jetstream remix, 2nd time think it was Jon Hopkins - Light through the veins (Ewan pearson) and the last time he dropped this mix of Flutes. Never seen a crown transfixed as much as I did those three gigs, people kept on turning to look at the people beside them with tears in there eyes and massive smiles on their faces and cheering. Some of the most uplifting giggs I have been to never wanted the night to end. Very few like Sasha can do that in a club these days

One of my all time favorites
Such an incredible tune. I was lucky to catch Sasha in Denver shortly after this track was released. He played at a club called Beta, which at the time had been voted #1 club in North America by Rolling Stone Magazine. It was a small room but had a function one system that was so well tuned it reached octaves in tracks like you wouldn’t believe.. Sasha dropped this toward the end of his set and as you can imagine the place went absolutely mental.. What a night… Sasha & Digweed are back in Denver on 4/15/23 for an extended set and hoping to hear masterpiece live once again!!
Is this available online anywhere? I love to hear the low key live sets as they are sometimes the best sets :)
