The popular vocal siblings of Carnatic music Shanmukhapriya and Haripriya had their novitiate from their father Sri V. V. Subbharam who is a post graduate in music. They have also had the benefit of advanced training under the tutelage of the musical siblings of the previous era Kalaimamanis Radha and Jayalakshmi. They are now under the scholarly guidance of Sangita Kala Acharya Professor T. R. Subramaniam. Blessed with facile fluent voices, their synchronized singing with performances planned on a sound structure from the foundation to the ceiling, total involvement and absolute laya and shruthi control have elevated them to the top rungs in the sphere of South Indian music. Their repertoire in the genre of devotional music that includes many divine composers like Bhadrachala Ramadas, Annamacharya, and the Haridasas of Karnataka is remarkable and their musical expression has splendid bhakthi consciousness that has catapulted their popularity quotient to the maximum level. They have toured extensively all over India and abroad and are the recipients of many awards and titles among which ‘Isai Peroli’, ‘Nada Bhooshanam’, ‘Sangeetha sarada’ and the ‘Yugadi Puraskar’ are but a few. They have the honour of being the Asthana Vidhooshis of Sri Sringeri Sarada Peetam, Sringeri. They have released several cassettes and CDs that have found immediate appreciative response from music lovers and connoisseurs of the precious art form of Carnatic music.

I have only valid and to a very agreeable explanation - Bala Murali Krishna sir has sung this song and his rendition is ever young. Priya sisters have a done a great job, and I'm not a disliker even. But I seriously felt BMK's version was way too magnetic

It is not "దేవాది దేవ". The correct word is "దేవాధిదేవ" meaning, God of Gods, Bhagavan. Devathalaku adhi Devudu ani..
"aadi" means etc. (modalaina ani).
"adhi" (dha with pokkili) means above ani.

Very good rendition. Your voices are so synchronized. Accomplished artists are very balanced on their instruments. One small suggestion is that at 9:56 seconds the word "SRI JANAKEESHA" (repeated some more times while KALPANAA SWARAAS) should not be cut as "SRI JANAKEE". It should be pronounced fully as "SRI JANAKEESHA". Otherwise the base heart of the composer is nullified. Please pronounce it fully.

the composer has commited errors of poetic grammer by not applying precise yathi at several points in the song.for example sree does not match wtth de the first word devadi. signed kalavardhani's alathoor vijyakumar
the singrehs i feel should follow the example of ranjani and gayayathri [ranagapura vihara] in pronouncing akaram. there is no ae in telugu. it is either aa or ye the the eleventh vowel ln this devine language. signed kalavadhani's alathoor vijayakumar.

Sunadavinodini is a marvellous ragam.. devadideva would have been a better place for manodharmaswara rendition rather than sreejanakeesa. I have heard the versions of Hyderabad brothers and Nithyasree Mahadevan ... Now this one also. Lovely presentation
