- Took a little trip to Aylmer to take some photos with my old Olympus Pen Mini E-PM1 micro 4/3rds camera. I paired it with the Leica 15mm f/1.7 lens. Do you enjoy the micro 4/3rds system? I think you get so much bang for your buck!

Thanks for your video!
I haven't shot my Olympus in a while, I'll make sure I do it today!
@@josuemolina6124 yes! So fun to rediscover old cameras
Love the honest rawness of your video. I admire your determination to do street photography in sub Zero temperature. Beutiful photos. Can't wait to see more pictures and videos.
Thanks so much! I try to get out whenever i can. Cabin fever is annoying in winter!
Really like the photos especially for that winter mood and think that shot of the "Aylmer Burger Stand" deserves to be printed and framed on a wall 👍. I'm mostly shooting film, but using a Lumix GX9 when I am out with digital. Also like my Lumix FT7 for vacation, especially for shots at the beach or in the sea 😊
Thank you! I mostly shoot film these days as well. Om-2n or the trip 35. Film just has more soul! But it is good sometimes to go out with the digital cameras. The GX9 must be nice! Lumix is just awesome 😎
I love micro, four3 cameras. They produce great photos and are very easy to travel with.😊
Completely agree! Such a great system. Which ones have you used?
Beautiful pictures and video. I just purchased a 2nd hand pm2 and can’t wait to go out and shoot. Subscribed.
Awesome, and thank you! I hope you have fun with it!
Greetings from the sunny Greece 😊 Great photos and very inspiring video 👍
Thank you for joining me!
Looks amazing as always!! 😊
Thank you 😊
looking good !
Thank you!
Hello from Ukraine. Interesting video and nice photos. I also have Olympus but Pen E-P1. What name of this town?
@@user-et1er8nv5p thank you! The town is called Aylmer
I have been using m4/3 for over 12 years as well. I has an E-PM1, two original E-M1s and an E-M5ii. I have mostly Olympus lenses but for the Lumix 25mm f1.7. I have really enjoyed the experience and the results I get with this gear. I enjoyed your video although I’m not really a fan of POV videos. I hope your channel does well.
Thanks so much! I do a bit of POV because it’s all i really have time to do right now. I really love micro 4/3rds. The results with them are quite good!
Your vid just popped up on my feed and strangely my original E-PM1 was next to me with an Olympus 25mm F1.8 mounted. I still use this when I need a pocket sized camera and just about to buy a pancake lens, either the Lumix 14mm F2.5 or the Olympus 17mm F2.8. Great for stills especially in A,S or M modes, much better than a phone camera. The image stabilisation helps when using lower shutter speeds. Terrible rolling shutter on video though, don't even think about a panning shot.
It’s funny, i used the epm1 for my old youtube channel i ran from 2014-2018. I don’t think i did much panning though. It has been such a good camera. I was really surprised by it when I bought it back in 2011, even when my main camera at the time was a 5d mkii
Great pics! May I ask what kind of camera settings or filter did u use to get that kind of colours? Was there any post processing done to the photos? Thank you!
I shot them using aperture priority on f/8 i believe and 400 iso. I edit them in lightroom using a preset i made. It’s basically bumping up the contrast a little and making the reds a little stronger
How is the viewability on the lcd? Surprising picture quality coming from that camera. You got the right idea but the lighting was not doing you any favors 😂. Enjoyable video nonetheless.
The LCD isn’t too bad. I keep forgetting it doesn’t have touch screen like my lumix though 😂 i still try to go out in any weather, i get too cooped up in the house over winter 😂
Nice framing. Good pictures. TY! But, . . . remember to try to avoid pictures of other people's pictures (wall art) as they're not your art.
and don't take pictures of buildings as that's someone else's design
Are you joking?
