I’m really not the paranoid type, but this kind of stuff scares me. This data in the wrong hands could show your complete driving history without needing gps. It could be sold to insurance companies to jack up your rates. It could be used to flag your vehicle if you go outside of your bubble. It could be used to monitor your family and improve genocide speed. It might be helpful to police, but so is having a gps tracker on every person and car, available to police at any time without a warrant.

That is easy anytime you see a "Black Pole a Black Solar panel on top and a Black Flock Device" take a photo of it with your smart photo and the GPS location of said License Plate Reader or any camera looking at you. In a PUBLIC area. Private companies that use this technology like Lowe's and FEDEX if you don't want your plate looked at don't go to their properties. REMEMBER look for a Flock Safety Device on a "Black Pole with a Black Solar panel on top with a Flock Device under the Solar Panel." Sometimes they will just have the Solar panel and the Flock device and no black pole. Open your eyes.
@godslove7708 These flock cameras are used more than just for businesses. We've encountered them on main thoroughfares all around Nashville and Oak Grove, KY.
Flock cameras are networked. It's more beneficial to have them on the outskirts of town, and on side streets as it creates a profile of your driving history to generate likely travel routes you take. You don't need a Flock camera to have it run through Flock AI. Any camera connected to the internet is able to run through this and send video through the police station, Walmart is one store which does this in any municipality in which they're allowed to. If Flock AI catches you on two cameras, then it knows where you're going, how fast, and when. They want these on side streets to find suspects fleeing, and they can wait in a cruiser on main roads while getting alerts as to where the car they're tracking is. These cameras capture and store photo and video which is AI analyzed any time they detect motion. Video is sent to your local police station and Flock's could servers, and Flock AI will either tell them to come looking for you based on your car (they claim not to look at your face...) and license plate and where you're likely to be found, or will store your data in case they want to come looking for you later. Run!!! Marine, or aircraft-grade paint remover will destroy the polycarbonate housing these cameras use. Just don't forget the mask, don't drive there, and change your gate!!!
@@kemberlycarreon6312 possibly you have had high crime rate in your area and they are trying to cover all routes of traffic in my town that have them watching all the main roads so you can't really bypass them..and if there is a bypass road they will install them there also to cover all ground
GPS tracked phones and LPRCs if only he could have fathomed we'd make it a quarter of a century into the 21st one and titled it 2024 Orwell would've zeroed it down perfectly.
I don't really have a problem with Flock cameras, but their assertion that they only save photos for 30 days doesn't really matter because law enforcement can download any video for evidence and hold that footage for as long as their own policy allows. Sure, there's audit trails, but as some PDs have found out, it doesn't stop officer abuse, it only tracks them down after the fact. And that's assuming there isn't any corruption or collusion within the broader department.
You can't have an issue with these camera and simultaneously use a cell phone to complain about them LOL. That little thing you're tethered to is recoirding and tracking everything you're doing. Not to mention Windows 10/11 or google or safari or edge or firefox...
