Been watching these for all the mods as I’ve just got a mk3 Octavia and I’m basically doing all the same mods ! Great to watch a non pro doing it so I can follow along
Love the badge replacement mate I will stay tuned to watch your future mods, I'm in the process of blacking out my own 2018 VRS and look forward to seeing you doing more, thanks for the info on the Skoda website, and think of it like this whatever you do to your Skoda there will be a clone of it in Eire 😂,cheers Irish,
Off to buy sone of those mats for my Mk 3.5 When the lease and warranty run out next year it’s black badges and stage 1 all the way on my battleship grey RS wagon.
@@tubedarren thanks maté most probably I’ll have to collect from local post depot and pay if this how it works . I like your videos mate awesome I’ve got a SEL with many extras nice cars FairPlay 😁
Im really looking to get one of these VRS estates look decent and have good space. I know this aint guna have the same speed as my mk8 R , would you recommend the diesel or the petrol VRS?
I haven’t driven the petrol but I suppose it depends on what kind of driving you do. If I did more city and local town journeys I’d of probably gone for the petrol. But I do a lot of motorway and long distance driving each year so went with the diesel. It’s got plenty of torque and power though still 👍
Thank you! You may need the software updating, I had a few issues on mine and now they’re ironed out since the update. Give Skoda a shout and book it in!
Oh it’s been in lots lol. Still forgets the air con sync, forgets my canton eq settings, constantly get emergency assist/travel assist faults. If that was all sorted I’d love it lol
@@tubedarren I had that as well 😅 Check your front sensors for stone chips. One of mine was chipped slightly and it stopped working. They wouldn’t cover it under warranty 😖
Nice car but the 19" alloys of the mk3 look far better the new alloys really spoil the look of the car.Love the new seats above anything else on the mk4 and the suede dash.
Yes the seats are great and the dash to be fair. Everything’s good except curbing the wheels at any given chance and problems with the front parking sensors! Lol
“The number on the plate refers to the year and six-month period in which the vehicle was first registered; either March to August or September to February. The age identifier changes on 1st March and 1st September every year.” My car for example was registered January 2022👍
Confusing for some but hope google has cleared it up for you 👍“Vehicles first registered from 1st September 2021 through to the end of February 2022 will be on a 71 reg plate.”
You need to get yourself a metal foot rest cover. Looks so much better looking in the footwell to see three metal covers rather than horrible black plastic 😂
Modifications not an improvement- black a very poor choice for this car from start trying to look like an Audi doesn’t suit … I went for mamba green estate no mods required

I have Always stayed away from Gloss Black, as it marks too easily, but I have to say, Yours looks STUNNING!!!
Thanks Clive!
Eucalyptus oil is great for sticky stuff, paint friendly.
Love the badge - just need to do the VRS on the grille. Top notch.
Totally agree, I did buy one but it was too big!! 😅
Where did you find the vrs logo?! I didn’t find any tuto to replace it, is it also glue on the grid ?

Thanks man and it’s a pleasure! 👍
Looks amazing.
Waiting other videos for interior.
I did a top 5 video which included a few interior mods!
Just replaced the chrome grill trim, black Skoda letters on the back, removed the scala completely and will pop on the black badge tomorrow.

How are the free mods and upgrades?
Is wd40 ok to use to remove the glue? I have the front and rear badges rear to go and was going to buy glue remover until I seen your video
Hi Danny I used wd40 to remove badge glue multiple times and it’s worked well for me. 👍
@@tubedarren cheer mate 👍 appreciate it. Will get the badges swapped and the rest of the writing de-badged ha

Super Skoda. But you can get from direct from Skoda
What size is the front badge mate? 80mm or 90mm?
90mm front and back
Nice mods! I'd love mine if they fixed all the stupid bugs with the infotainment. They make me regret buying the car.
