    enjoyed your garden tour its so neat to see that there is always something to harvest. I planted a lot this year in my garden every thing did ok early in the season to spite the very hot weather that came sooner then I thought it would. well anyway later on into the season my garden was attacked by vine borers and cucumber beetles and squash bugs all at the same time I well tell you I was not ready for that I am hoping it well be better next season. in the mean time I am trying to get ready for my fall garden. about a month ago I planted a bunch of seeds I kept them in my mini greenhouse and watered them as needed I kept the door open and I think they got over heated and died. so I replanted and brought them inside and put them in my greenhouse and they stay there until the sun goes down and then I put them back out into my outdoor greenhouse now they have not germinated yet so I think they well be fine there at night since the temps are not to bad

      Hi Jackie, sorry to hear about the bugs! I had an aphid infestation earlier this season and had to pull out almost all my kale plants! We all encounter these gardening problems, but we overcome them so don't worry. Hope we have a better season next year! I love fall and I'm ready for it too! I hope you have a great week and take care! Thanks for watching! Misilla

    Hiya, I live in Sammamish and am enjoying your channel and your garden. Did you make the bird baths yourself? The zucchini and squash are great and fun sized. Your son seems cool loving to help mom with the garden. Loving all the starts and gifts that you have also. Did you grow the carrot tops from your own carrots? Do you put them in with the greens on or tops with no greenery on them? I love the various scrap starts. Smart. Also love the cuttings as I have some overgrown lavender that I am replacing. I might take cuttings from it and start them for gifting and using elsewhere later. Your garden is great! Hoping to see the mushrooms growing also! :) Happy harvest!

      Hi Amy and greetings neighbor! I was just in Issaquah a couple of weeks ago, that's near Sammamish! I planted the carrots from the scrap, some started to grow the greens in the refrigerator! I now have some seeds to harvest! I'm starting more herb cuttings too , so I can plant them up front as hedging. I'm glad you enjoyed the tour and hope that you have a nice fall season ! Stay warm, getting cold already! Misilla :)

    Hi Misilla i live in Bothell... loved your garden tour. One quick question where do you get your zucchini plants every year or do you grow it from seeds?

    • @LearnToGrow1
      @LearnToGrow1  6 років тому

      Hello neighbor! I grow them from seed every year. I sow them between mid May or beginning of June as long as weather permits. I try to save seeds from my harvest as long as the seeds are mature to plant next season. Glad you enjoyed the tour and thank for watching! PS. I should have extra seeds if you like just send me a message on Instagram under learntogrow. Misilla
