Hi, you might want to check out companion planting as fennel decreases yields from many other plants when planted near others. So fennel is best kept near plants that get along with it not in the center of garden as is shown. May help your production yields.👍

Love the progress your garden is making, especially the fruit. I'm trying to do a lot more fruit varieties myself and I'm somewhat jealous of how far along a lot of your shrubs/trees are in comparison to mine. Your blueberries in particular are so large, both the fruit and the bush itself. I'm hoping to have a "big" peach harvest this year -- I have just 2 trees, but they're full of fruit. I just found out today though one of my apple trees has developed Apple Cedar Rust. According to the sites I've read, they recommend cutting down all the cedars in a 2 mile radius of my apple trees. LOL! Yeah, that'll work in a suburban neighborhood. I may have to spray next year.
But what I really wanted to tell you was to check out Mike Kincaid's channel if you're not already subscribed. I see you have a couple of fig trees and he's just gotten into figs too and has done a bunch of cuttings with them. Apparently figs are super easy to propagate: basically just stick a cutting in the ground and it's almost guaranteed to root. Check him out. And if you're interested, this is my current garden tour I published just last week. ua-cam.com/video/bUdDsn1CLAQ/v-deo.html Again, liking how the garden is coming along.

Isn’t that asparagus? Fennel’s top is similar but it has a bulb at the base.

No, that is fennel. One type of fennel has a bulb, other types don't have as much of a bulb.
