The Havana Cabanas are great on the Panorama, Horizon, and Vista. Don't bother getting them on the Celebration or Mardi Gras, as they changed the layout. The Havana area is at the front of deck 8 on these ships. The pool is very small and on the side of the ship. The hot tubs were removed completely. Several balcony cabins hang over the pool as well. The crew smoking area is right below forward-facing cabins, so sitting on the patio deck is not enjoyable. unless you like the smell of cigarette smoke. Don't waste your money on these two ships. But definitely get one for the three others.
YES! It's so frustrating not to have the hot tub area... we're doing the Celebration next year and I was so disappointed. I don't understand why they had to change the location but even if it was necessary removing the hot tubs makes it not worth the extra money for me. I wish they would have kept them somehow.
We sailed on the Vista in a Havana Cabana, can’t go back to a regular room after that! The best part is not having to stress about getting a deck chair for the day by the pool. 😎🌴☀️
Agreed! Our motto is that any room on a ship is better than a room NOT on a ship but we definitely prefer the Havana area. It's hands down the best way to cruise... I love being able to walk out and enjoy the pool area without fighting my way through the crowd.
was in Havana for the first time last september on deck 9 since we prefer aft balconies - so i think Lido is deck 10 - but yeah i think we may have to just keep booking back there at this point! very nice vid!
I’ve stayed in the interior havana cabins 3 times and the music is loud but usually shuts off at a reasonable hour… this last time there was one night (the second sea day) where it went until 1:30 in the morning… which was frustrating. But overall it’s usually not bad. I find the rooms by the casino to be much louder. If you want to be asleep by/before 10pm every night though… an interior room in the Havana area isn’t going to let that happen. I couldn’t hear the bar from the exterior rooms though
Niiice! I get what you mean about family vs adults only. Tho I have 2 growns now, and we did cruises with them, I'd now want adult facilities if available. It's good to have a choice! And I just thought of that other prob with kids and pools, iykwim 😅. Which I have never thought of until now, not to say that plenty of adults wouldn't... 😮Hope I didn't put a 'fog' over your pool time😂😂. Enjoy the rest of Vacay!
LOL you definitely didn't put a fog over my pool time... I know there are signs everywhere saying babies must be in swim diapers but that doesn't help with the little kiddos. It's just the way it is, and I like kids just fine but I don't necessarily want to sit in a postage stamp sized pool with 30 of them either. When you're on a family v-cay with kids that's one thing but if you're on an adult trip it's very nice to have an area that's adults only if for no other reason than the quiet. Mom and I are going on a trip to Singapore next year and booked another Havana cabin... we love them.

hi! did you find there was a lot of noise from the Havana Bar (music) at night? I think it goes on pretty late?
