Oh, I'm so glad yours is also everything you hoped for. Grace did the opposite of what you did - she put the flower crown on Moana and the clip on Pua lol. Glad you fixed her undies, and good catch about the different tag years - that's a fun tidbit.
She is g-g-GORGEOUS! I received her a couple of days ago and I am amazed at the quality. Since she doesn’t have shoes I wonder if AG had a bigger budget for the rest of her? The little starfish in her necklace was a cute little surprise. We watched a longer trailer for the movie recently and it shows that little star so it does relate to the story which is cool. I dressed her in a mashup of this years holiday skirt and the dusty rose sweater top from a couple of years ago and the pinks from the clothes compliment her complexion really well. Yay!
Thanks for the color tips - We're going to take her with us when we go see the movie (it'll be my younger daughter's first movie theater experience and our older daughter is joining us). After the movie, though, I'll probably start experimenting with different colors and styles on her - can't wait! I'm glad you're loving yours as much as we are ours. She's absolutely beautiful!
I got mine a couple of days ago and fell in LOVE! I sold my Corrine and this is an excellent trade off. It’s taking all of my self control not to put every outfit I have on her. But I have all of December as I recuperate to play!
Congrats on your all's new AG. I adore this doll. I just got mine yesterday and I am so happy with her. I'd love to see her in modern casual styles. BTW, like you I love the Moana movie and she is one of my favorites. I am so glad I jumped and ordered her right away.
Thank you so much for doing this! When I saw the initial announcement she jumped into my short list, but I haven't purchased yet. I legit gasped out loud the first time you gave her a half turn and I glimpsed how long her hair is! So beautiful! It is known, I have a *huge* weakness for dolls with long curly hair. Must have. Thank you for showing us all the details of her face and costume. I feel like I'd love to see her in white or off white? Maybe a sort of boho chic look, like a long gathered skirt and simple top? I also think she might look amazing in medieval-inspired costumes or an elfin outfit. Hmmm I think I might have just talked myself into getting her sooner rather than later!
Ooh, I like the idea of a boho chic look for her. I'm working on a different video at the moment, but will definitely be making a video with different looks (and testing different colors) on her sometime soon!
Hi Kristi! I did order and I’m excited to see her in person. I’m hoping her skin shows true in person (she looks very close to my own). I’ve been praying for more variety in skin tones, especially when creating CYOs. 🤞🏽 Thanks for sharing!
I hope it's a great match to your own skin! And yes, I'd love to keep getting more variety of skin tones, and more options in general in the CYO generator.
She is so stunning!!! I think she's the best Disney one they've come out with yet!! I haven't seen the full movie, just clips, but LOVE her theme song. Thanks for showcasing each piece of her outfit off of her. I've seen a few unboxing videos of her, but I think you're the first one I've seen do that. I haven't purchased her yet, when I found out from AG that she is going to be permanently added to the play line dolls I wasn't in a rush to get her. I'm waiting until December to combine both my November and December points to put towards her. 😊 I didn't realize she was the Corine mold until someone pointed that out. At first I thought the reason I liked her better than the girl of the year, was the darker skin tone, but I noticed when you showed them side by side, didn't they alter the Corine sculpt on Moana?? Corine's face looks narrower, while Moana's look fatter...like C has a slimmer face and M is chubbier. Sort of like how the older classic molds used to be vs the newer ones. I don't know if it's because of the different color palette for her face, but isn't M's lips also different from C's?? Now when I finally get her I definitely want to do an unboxing video for both Moana and Corine and do my own side by side comparison. I don't plan on collecting the Disney dolls as there are too many other AG dolls I'd prefer to have, but Ariel and Moana have got to be in my collection!! I'm going to put them as Truly Me's. Ariel is going to become Erin and was thinking maybe Moana would become Mona (like the famous painting, Mona Lisa). By the way, can't remember if I mentioned this...I think I said I lost my previous channel American Boy Collects American Girl...but don't know if I ever told you I started a new one American Boy Collects AG Plus. I'm currently re-uploading all my previous videos, so it's pretty much just my unboxing videos for Marisol's almost complete collection and my unboxing of #84 Gift Set, as of right now...hoping to finally get Ariel out of her box today, so maybe there will be an unboxing video before the end of the month.
I don't think the mold has been modified. The lips look the same to me (obviously different colors and some dolls have fuller lip paint than others, so there is variance there). As for width, it might be an optical illusion. I took a ribbon and measured from the base where her earlobe meets her head, then across her face and over to the other side where the other earlobe meets her head. I did it on both dolls and the measurement was the exact same. IDK if I subbed to your new channel, but I'll double check to make sure :)
O.M.G ....im in love. I want her SO much. SO SO much!!! It's lively that they released such a unique skin colour and doll. Thank you for the super helpful review. The no shoes makes sense to me, as she lives in the tropics...but for collectors sakes they could have maybe included some simple flip flops or sandals. But i think shes perfect 😍😍😍I'd love to see her dressed as smart modern casual/street wear..in all earthy tones and fabrics! That's how I'll dress mine if I'm ever lucky enough to get her!!
I actually just set aside something for her that kind of fits your description. I'll definitely do a video dressing her in different modern looks. And re: the shoes, I wonder if that's a Disney limitation. They (like Warner Brothers) can be VERY strict about what you are allowed to make under their license. That would make them officially licensed Disney shoes for Moana and since movie Moana doesn't have them, it might have been a non-starter.
OMG! She is stunning 🤩🤩 Unfortunately I am not planning to add her in my collection any time soon. It would be great seeing her with colours that not belong to her colour theme 💜 Thanks for sharing her! Congrats to you and Grace for adding her in your collection. Cheers
Yeah, there's kind of a permanent Moana 2 ad banner when we go into youtube lately :) We got tickets to see it next week and it'll be the peanut's first movie theater experience.
Yep - I know everyone's budget, space, and collecting "vision" are different. But if you're interested in her and it makes sense to add her, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
You are so welcome! And yeah, it's nice that she's not limited. I'm really glad (because of the price point and because I'd like as many people as possible to be able to afford to add her).
I’m so glad you wanted her because your reviews are always honest and detailed. I love that your wife wanted you both to open her together 😊 I have several of her Disney store dolls and her skin does have that red tone on her Disney dolls too. Her curl pattern looks very similar to mine (I couldn’t tell from the stock photos but the back really looks like mine!) so it makes me want her al the more 😄 Thank you so much for the review, Kristie 😊 Oh and your mic sounded good to me 😄 Her underwear 😂
Oh, thank you! (especially about the quality of the mic, since it's new). The underwear made me giggle for sure. And yeah, her hair DOES have a similar texture to yours (based on what I've seen in your videos).
I am hopeful to be able to purchase her in 2025. I really love Disney so there’s several Disney AG dolls I do want but I also collect other dolls so it’s hard to try to figure out which one I want more than the others (it’s between Tiana and Moana at this point but you’ve REALLY sold me on Moana 😄)
She’s gorgeous!! I plan on getting her for myself and my niece (for a future 5th birthday gift). I’ll probably get her some time next year when they have a triple point sale with dolls included 🤞🏽 Enjoy! I can’t wait to see how you style her.
Makes sense - sometimes I'm a wait-it-out person and sometimes I'm definitely not lol. I know as soon as I saw her that we'd go ahead and get her because I had the $ in my doll budget and had not gone over my self-imposed doll limit this year.
Wow, she is gorgeous! That is interesting they added "Moana 2" on the box for the movie vs just her name. Thank you for pointing that out. Also love that you unboxed her together with Grace. I love your enthusiasm too, I can feel it in video and it just feels magical as you give the best review. Hope to get her one day!
Sometimes I hesitate to do reviews about new dolls or products because I know youtube gets saturated with it and I don't want to contribute to the overload. But a lot of people seem to enjoy them and I *do* try to be thorough and note things people don't always comment on. With her, though, I never considered NOT doing a review because I was so *delighted* with her! :)
@agtakesover You are always so thoughtful and intnetional! I know I'm not alone in saying how much value your unboxings and those details you note help in making informed purchase decisions! She is so stunning and hearing your excitement made it all the more fun to watch!
She’s really beautiful! I’ve enjoyed seeing her on Instagram, but your review was even better. I think it’s a missed opportunity that hay hays eyes don’t pop out when you squeeze him (her). That would have been fun. I just barely saw Moana this year as we got Disney plus. Do, she’s not a princess high up on my list. Id like to keep a Corinne mold in my collection and have been loosing my love for Corinne (her hair drives me crazy. The blue just doesn’t do it for me). I just need to wait till I can justify selling my Corinne to buy a Moana as I like her wig and skin color better.
Yeah, I was telling someone else all the things I like about her movie - her father is the leader but he doesn't live in a fancy house far removed from society and hard work. Moana is presumed to be the future leader and it's assumed she will be competent at it. She's encouraged to observe the day-to-day and listen to the struggles people present to her father and how they're discussed and approached. Her future leadership isn't contingent on marrying someone. No mention at all, in fact, of courtship or suitors or marriage. She is self-assured and persistent. No one-dimensional, oversimplified villain. AND a great soundtrack? What's not to like? As for Corinne, I was never crazy about her. I like 124's hair better. I think Corinne's eyebrows are unnaturally high on her forehead, too. But this doll has the things I like about the Corinne face mold and none of the choices I didn't like for Corinne :) I'm glad the review was helpful. I know there are a lot of them out there, so I try to make sure mine is comprehensive and hopefully includes some observations that might not be made elsewhere :)
The dryness sounds common for the princess wigs. I’ve read that Elsa has dryness at the ends. Moana is gorgeous, though. I think I like her even more so than Corinne. I love the new skin tone and her thick curls. Very tempting although my large collection makes me be super selective these days. I sell dolls sometimes, but have to be really sure I’m ready to let them go first else I’ll have regrets.
I definitely like her more than Corinne. I think Corinne is very pretty, but the blue makes dressing her more limiting and I don't love her brows or the placement of them. I feel like Moana has everything I like about Corinne's mold without the couple aesthetic choices I don't LOVE about Corinne.
So happy for your review.. I ordered her just waiting for a shipping email…If your able could you dress her in a few modern outfits in another video, because that’s my plan . I keep my historical’s dressed in their era no exceptions, and Tiana she goes along with Claudie 1920’s , but what I’ve read about Moana “I’ve never seen the movie’ , she’s from a fictional island 3000 years ago?? ..So I’m planning on modernizing her , and she’ll be Moana during Halloween.
LOL ! I have mostly Truly Me dolls and a few Historical (most bought second hand). They don't wear their original outfits so Disney dolls don't really fit in my collection. Not really a Disney fan and I haven't seen any of the movies except Cinderella and Snow White back when they first came out so not familiar with their stories. Only time I can add my Disney dolls (Tiana and Ariel, will add Moana) in pictures will be at Halloween. Dressed as a Disney characters. Unsure if I will ever change their outfits (I do have Tiana's work dress and gown) because I don't want to take her hair down. Others can wear those outfits.
Yes, I'll gladly dress her in modern clothes and make a video of it. Specifically, I'm interested in trying different colors on her to see what works best and whether any colors don't work well for her. I'm actually a big fan of her movie in spite of not loving most older Disney movies. A few things I love about it - she is self-assured and persistent. Leadership in her island is participatory and her father (the leader) is not removed from the rest of the people or the hard work involved in living there. Also, it's presumed she will become the people's leader AND that she will be good at it. She is encouraged to observe the day-to-day of life on her island and listen to the problems people are encountering. Her eventual leadership isn't contingent on marrying. There is NO mention in the entire movie of courtship, a suitor, marriage, etc. Lots of cooperation and no oversimplified one-dimensional villain. Oh, and great music. It's just good!
I love Tiana’s tone because it matches my husband’s skin perfectly. I agree that Moana is major red undertone but I love her. I haven’t brushed her hair yet. I love her hair so much!
Ooh, would you be able to customize a Tiana doll to be a mini-me for your husband, or is his facial structure pretty different? It's a pretty unique skin tone, so if the Claudie mold is similar to his face at all, that would be pretty cool.
I want Mulan next I'm thinking number 4 facemold with Ivy's wig, having her ping outfit,or Mulan battle outfit or her reflection dress which the assccories of Moo shoe the dragon and the lucky circuit.
I’m definitely going to get her. She is gorgeous. For me one of the things that I really like about her is that she doesn’t have extra clothes. I love the fact that ag made totally different from Tiana. Where did you say that you gotten Corinne’s outfit from again? I don’t want to go back and search for that spot in the video. 😂I think she would look good in Nanea’s purple dress.
Ooh, I'll definitely have to try Nanea's holoku dress on her. And Corinne's outfit is from Disney ILY - I think we got it at Target, but it may well be discontinued by now.
Thanks - she's so beautiful - and she'll be going with us to the movie premiere this week - it'll be my younger daughter's first movie theater experience :)
Thanks for the detailed review! I think her skin tone is gorgeous, her wig looks beautiful, and her outfit has lovely details. But I'm just not loving the Corinne mold and the Disney overly shaped, thin brows. Sadly, I just don't love any of the Disney dolls enough to purchase one (Rapunzel came close). Unfortunately the new microphone sounded muffled to me. I compared it to another recent video where you were filming in the same spot and it still sounded muffled in comparison.
Thanks for the feedback about the microphone. I'll listen to it on my phone and my TV to decide. I will use it sometimes, if it would be more convenient for me to be able to move around, but may experiment with the clip, too. Sometimes I'll probably stick to my phone's mic.
3:33 i think they put moana 2 because she’s specifically the moana from moana 2. it took me so long to realize why she didn’t look like moana to me and it’s the side part😂 later i learned she has a side part in moana 2
The *doll* is not essentially different though (from how she'd look if based on the original Moana movie). I mean, a side part is not a change in a permanent feature. And Ariel's box doesn't say The Little Mermaid, Rapunzel's doesn't say Tangled. I know it's to promote the tie to the new movie as much as possible (and it's totally possible that it was a requirement from Disney). It just struck me as interesting that they put a movie title on her box when the rest of them have their names on their boxes.
Thanks for this video!! I love Moana, and like you when I saw the first glimpse of her knew I would be buying her immediately! I am so happy with my doll and have yet to see anyone receive one that isn’t perfect! My doll’s hair is soft all over, even the ends. It reminds me of the vegan wigs I’ve purchased from Zazou. My Evette and 127 have a little rougher hair. My Moana also came with her underwear backwards. I didn’t even look at her underwear until I saw someone on IG show her Moana’s butt hanging out. I checked mine and sure enough, same thing. I took them off and put them on correctly like you did. I think they messed up on all of them during the manufacturing process when they put the dolls undies on. 😜 I’m not a fan of this new style eyebrows either, but on Moana they are fine. I would love to see you dress Moana in modern styles. You have great taste in styling dolls, so maybe do 10 outfits or something like that.
Question What 18inch AG doll do you suggest for a almost 4 year old. I'm wanting to get my oldest niece kit or maybe Samantha or a wellie wisher. I told my mom that I'll get her a Walmart 18inch doll for her First then go from their. I gave her bitty baby when she turned 2 and her little sister has been playing with bitty baby but sometimes oldest niece plays with bitty baby.but I do have a wellie wisher came in a homemade outfit and cowgirl boots but I think I'll give Willa to my oldest niece and get a dress from AG during Black Friday and that'll be Willie wisher meet outfit
Being an adult who doesn't like to fuss with hair and I own a Evette (2 one still in hair net that was on sale for $65), a Courtney, 2 TM #58s, TM #112 and other curly haired dolls, I swore off them but keep buying them. Moana is on my list. But, to address your question I'd definitely buy her Kit. I have one and her hair is the perfect length for a child that age. It can be combed and put in a few different styles. Samantha's hair is too long and tends to get ratty on the bottom. Not all that easy to care for with a younger child.
That's a lot of information, but I'm going to focus on your initial question. In general, I think Melody is a FANTASTIC first doll. my reasoning is that her hair is long enough to braid and put in pony tails, etc so kids can style her more than they can Kit. But her hair is short enough it won't get tangled and destroyed like many other AG dolls with long or curly hair. Another reason is that she is available new from AG *and* easy to find used, so the buyer has options.
I want more Disney princess dolls Even though I don't buy them but my lord the dolls are as beautiful in the catalog and website às they are on my phone watching everyone's videos
This is definitely the only one I wanted enough to buy - Grace bought 4 others (playline Rapunzel, Anna, Belle, and Ariel) but we were in total agreement about getting Moana!
She's now on my wishlist, though she won't be joining my house for awhile (2024 saw a lot of dolls enter here). I had previously set myself against getting any corrinne mould dolls because.. it's maybe silly, but I really disliked that AG made, like, the actual mechanism of the doll's eyes a larger size (like.. 13mm I think, so that they can't get swapped). But I love the Moana doll so much - and asked myself, would I WANT to change her eyes anyway? - that I've changed my mind. In prep, I ordered a very on sale Corrine, so I'll have both of the tones that mould (at least currently) comes in.
I could have sworn I replied to this - the shorter version now that I have to retype is: I was worried when they released Corinne that they'd start gravitating to larger eyes a la Disney ILY dolls and am glad that didn't turn out to be the case, and also - I agree that there's no reason to change the Moana doll at all, so no worries about the fact that doing an eye swap on her would be trickier.
@@agtakesover You did reply to this like contextually, but it was actually in response to a comment on another video. So no worries, you're not going mad ;)
Hi Kristie, this is a really great review of Moana. She is so beautiful. I recently sold my Corrine doll but I loved her face sculpt. It looks so gorgeous on Moana. Those big eyes! I may get her someday as I love Disney and Hawaii and long wavy hair. Lots to like! Nice details too. I recently tried a Lav mic which I thought was ok but a viewer commented that she could only hear me in one ear. I forget that a lot of people listen with head phones. It sounded fine to me but something you might want to test. I guess the one I got wasn’t very high quality. It’s nice to have the flexibility to move around and not worry about being close to the mic. 😃
I’m glad you had an unboxing. I have minimal interest in Disney collaborations. The few that I like are Tiana, Elsa, Anna and Moana those four do spark my interest. But I’m still on the fence on buying them.
IDK if that's minimal interest lol - they've made 8 characters so far and you like 4 of them. But I get it. She's the first one we bought that wasn't exclusively a Grace purchase. She bought Belle, Ariel, (play line) Rapunzel, and Anna on her own.
@@agtakesover You’re right about that. 4 out of 8 is not minimal interest. I like Tiana and Moana to add to my regular doll collection and not use them as Disney characters. Elsa and Anna keep as Disney characters at three $310 each I rather by one big ticket item.
She is gorgeous. Thanks for showing us all of her details. Poor girl with her backwards undies. I'm so glad you fixed that for her! :) They are so cute that the color matches. What date does she have on her body tag?
@@agtakesover That is so cool. My newest doll is my custom Claudie and her body tag says 2018. I'm so glad AG finally updated the tags. Interesting that Pua is before his time. :)
Hi my name is Jim, i have been binge watching your vids, i collect a variety of dolls, have several gotz dolls, and recently started collecting American girl, its expensive. i do want this doll, trying to stay on budget. My husband collects Barbie, he has an awesome collection. im rambling sorry, thanks for sharing your content.
Gah - I typed a long reply and hit a wrong button before sending it, so it got deleted. Quick recap: if you haven't watched it yet, you might like a video I did a while back on tracking and budgeting for dolls (just search "budget" on my channel). Tracking is the BIGGEST factor in making sure I don't overspend. (the second is having a $ amount I commit to not exceeding, and the third is being willing to wait, shop around, and be strategic/smart in my purchases). I'm so glad you're enjoying the videos, and welcome to the AG community!
I was at AG earlier this week and one of the salespersons( African American) told me that the doll's skintone was awful and wrong for a Hawaiian doll. She said they should've used Nanea's skintone and the Moana doll had more Orange than needed. I'll have to go back to AG,and see for myself. I want her,but not if the skintone is horribly off
I'm trying to listen to what AAPI collectors have to say and I haven't seen a ton of comments from them but threw ones I have seem seem pretty positive and note many Polynesians DO have a lot red undertones. Regardless, a) she doesn't read orange to me personally and b) I think she's very pretty.
@agtakesover What is AAPI? I just want to see the doll in person. I've had bad experiences buying from the AG website without actually seeing the doll. I do want the doll. Hopefully she doesn't sellout before I can see her. I'm sure that quite a bit of little girls will want her for Christmas
@@rhondalong152 She's not a Limited Edition doll so they will make more when she sells out. Currently dolls ordered now won't ship until Dec 12th meaning the first release ones available online have already sold. The most popular Disney dolls sell out a few times before that tapers off and the number of buyers who wanted that doll peter out. If they sell out in a store they may not be able to replace their stock if she's sold out online. Since I'm not close to a store I can't purchase any of them at a store. Also, AAPI ? Haven't figured that out either.
that star is about to go for $50 once everyone loses it lol. it's annoying that her hair is a little crunchy but i'm assuming it can be washed and conditioned. Idk why i thought it would be actual straw type material on her skirt, i'm glad it's not though (for durability). she's the one i would get if i were going to get a disney collection doll, gorgeous doll!!
I think it would have been fun if they included a little hair tie that matched her outfit for kiddos to put her hair up in a bun. Not just for her but any long haired doll, some kids just aren't able to handle it yet (or adults like me who have sensory issues)
Agreed! IDK if that's a Disney limitation (if she doesn't have a hair tie in the movie they may not allow it - I know they can be strict) but it would be handy!
AG please release Pocahontas next she's my favorite. Disney Princess ever. I See AG doing the arm band thing for Pocahontas orange tattoo on her arm,Then Kaya facemold or smiling mouth Kaya mold on CYO then her bair would be super silky soft or Kayas hair/wig hair down out of branda or something super close to Kaya regular hair. Then have flick the bird, meco the raccoon and the pug dog the outfits would be from both movies Pocahontas and Pocahontas 2. So let's see what they do 😊
Disney gave Mattel their rights to make dolls and toys in I believe 2022 or 2023. I love her she's so pretty I don't Colloct AG Disney princess. But when AG does Play line Elsa and Ana then it's game over for me
She is even prettier than I imagined. So so beautiful!!! I am so excited.
Same - she is everything I hoped she'd be :)
Wow her meet outfit look so detailed, I’m impressed!
I think so too! Someone brought up that maybe they put a little more into her outfit because they didn't have the expense of making shoes for her.
She is beyond beautiful!! My doll should be arriving any day and waiting is killing me!
Every one of them I've seen so far on IG has been beautiful, so I bet yours will be as well.
I got my Moana when I got home from work today, and I'm in LOVE!! ❤❤❤ I kept the flower in her hair, and Pua is rocking her flower crown. 😂
Huh, mine also had her underwear on backwards! Good catch! Lol, fixed it now! I'd also like to see your Moana in modern clothes, like jeans! ❤
I did notice Pua's tag says 2025 even though Moana's says 2024.
Oh, I'm so glad yours is also everything you hoped for. Grace did the opposite of what you did - she put the flower crown on Moana and the clip on Pua lol. Glad you fixed her undies, and good catch about the different tag years - that's a fun tidbit.
She is beautiful! I'm so excited for mine to arrive!
Yay! I hope you're as thrilled as I was :)
Thank you so much for the review. I think Moana is so pretty!! I love her hair. I so hope to add Moana to my collection in the future.
You're very welcome - hope the review was helpful :)

Congrats on your all's new AG. I adore this doll. I just got mine yesterday and I am so happy with her. I'd love to see her in modern casual styles. BTW, like you I love the Moana movie and she is one of my favorites. I am so glad I jumped and ordered her right away.
It seems most people getting her are very happy with her. I'm glad there don't seem to be any glaring quality control issues!
Must have.
I didn't realize she was the Corine mold until someone pointed that out.
@agtakesover Huh!! 🤔 That's interesting...now I'm even more intrigued to see them side by side in person. ...And Thank you!! ☺️
Love your channel love all your dolls. you do an awesome job thank you. I hope you have a happy Thanksgiving.😊
Thank you so much! Happy holidays to you and yours as well. :)
We got to watch two of your videos in one day!!!!!!
YAY!!
I love the outfit Corrine has on she looks beautiful ❤
Thanks! It's from the Disney ILY 4Ever Fashion line.
OMG!
She is stunning 🤩🤩
Unfortunately I am not planning to add her in my collection any time soon.
It would be great seeing her with colours that not belong to her colour theme 💜
Thanks for sharing her!
Congrats to you and Grace for adding her in your collection.
Cheers
Thanks! :)
You are welcome@@agtakesover !
Funny enough a Moana 2 ad played before this video. Congrats on your doll! She is lovely. I’m waiting to get one picked out in store - I can’t wait.
Yeah, there's kind of a permanent Moana 2 ad banner when we go into youtube lately :) We got tickets to see it next week and it'll be the peanut's first movie theater experience.
So beautiful. I will have to consider her, for sure
Yep - I know everyone's budget, space, and collecting "vision" are different. But if you're interested in her and it makes sense to add her, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
I think she is beautiful 😍 i ordered her as well.
I hope she's gorgeous! (I bet she will be)
Very pretty and adorable thank you for the thorough video. I may get her but not at this time since she’s not limited. I will wait.
You are so welcome! And yeah, it's nice that she's not limited. I'm really glad (because of the price point and because I'd like as many people as possible to be able to afford to add her).
Omg she is beautiful ❤I love her can’t wait to get her she is perfect thank you for sharing
You're welcome! She really is everything I'd hoped she'd be
Moana is such a beautiful doll!! I wish I could afford her, but congratulations for getting her!!
Well, the good news is she's play line so she'll be around for a while. Maybe with a reward, or when they include her in a sale, or as a present.
@@agtakesover She's definitely on my wishlist!!
I’m so glad you wanted her because your reviews are always honest and detailed. I love that your wife wanted you both to open her together 😊
I have several of her Disney store dolls and her skin does have that red tone on her Disney dolls too. Her curl pattern looks very similar to mine (I couldn’t tell from the stock photos but the back really looks like mine!) so it makes me want her al the more 😄 Thank you so much for the review, Kristie 😊
Oh and your mic sounded good to me 😄
Her underwear 😂
Oh, thank you! (especially about the quality of the mic, since it's new). The underwear made me giggle for sure. And yeah, her hair DOES have a similar texture to yours (based on what I've seen in your videos).
I am hopeful to be able to purchase her in 2025. I really love Disney so there’s several Disney AG dolls I do want but I also collect other dolls so it’s hard to try to figure out which one I want more than the others (it’s between Tiana and Moana at this point but you’ve REALLY sold me on Moana 😄)
@kristinaland I would go with Moana but wouldn't discourage anyone from getting Tiana :)
@ Maybe one day I’ll be able to get both 😄 (now if they make a Merida and a Mulan, I’d be in a lot of trouble ;)
She is super beautiful! And as a sailor girl myself I can only approve.
Yeah - I am THRILLED with her! This is the doll I've been waiting on :)
But this doll has the things I like about the Corinne face mold and none of the choices I didn't like for Corinne :)
I'm glad the review was helpful.
@ his facial expression is very different. I have a 77 for him. ❤️
Yes I think red would look amazing on her a ball gown as I love ❤my dolls in ball gowns she is just stunning.
I don't have a red ball gown but I do have some simpler red dresses and some other colored ball gowns, so I've got some options.
I plan on getting her next year.
She is so beautiful! This will be my second American Girl doll.
Oh, what an honor to be picked when you have so many to choose from! Who is your first one?
I want Mulan next I'm thinking number 4 facemold with Ivy's wig, having her ping outfit,or Mulan battle outfit or her reflection dress which the assccories of Moo shoe the dragon and the lucky circuit.
I wonder if they ever *will* resurrect the #4 mold.
Congrats on your new doll!
Thanks - she's so beautiful - and she'll be going with us to the movie premiere this week - it'll be my younger daughter's first movie theater experience :)
@ omg! Really I am going with my daughter and it will be her first movie experience too. 😊
@@Lots2See That's awesome. I hope they both do well. She's very excited about the movie theater popcorn and getting to pick out a candy :)
I think she be a great doll to team up with Maritza Makena and Evette. She fit in perfect as a tween.
Agreed.
Great detailed video, thank you!
Thank you - I'm so glad you liked it!
@agtakesover it was the best Moana video I've seen. She's on my list of possibilities ✨️
@AuthorSusanZoeBella oh, thank you SO much!
Beautiful doll. I enjoyed your review. Thank you. 🙂🇨🇦
Thank you! 🤗
I love her so much!!! Bb
Me too! She is everything I was hoping she'd be
Thanks for this video!!
Lol. I think you're right - Everyone I know who's gotten her says her underwear came on backwards!
She is gorgeous! So many beautiful dolls, not enough money or room for them all 😂😂
The tough reality for doll collectors lol.
The Holiday Kirsten did not have any shoes either.
Oh, you're right! Thanks :)
GREAT VIDEO.
Oh, thank you!
I would love to see her in some modern style clothing.
Definitely!
She is gorgeous. Thanks for showing us all of her details. Poor girl with her backwards undies. I'm so glad you fixed that for her! :) They are so cute that the color matches. What date does she have on her body tag?
Her body tag says 2024. Pua's is 2025.
@@agtakesover Thank you so much!
@@rhondalong152 AAPI stands for Asian American and Pacific Islander :)
Probably won’t get her but she’s beautiful! Enjoy! 😊
Thanks!
that star is about to go for $50 once everyone loses it lol. it's annoying that her hair is a little crunchy but i'm assuming it can be washed and conditioned.
LMAO about the star. Grace said they should have just sent two and told parents to hide the back-up.
So let's see what they do 😊
I love how much thought you've put into this :)
Disney gave Mattel their rights to make dolls and toys in I believe 2022 or 2023. I love her she's so pretty I don't Colloct AG Disney princess. But when AG does Play line Elsa and Ana then it's game over for me
I can't imagine they won't make a playline Anna and Elsa. I feel like they're too popular for them not to.
