This trope is something that truly never gets old, always so exciting to read and I think like every other trope falls under it.

I LOVED SOMETHING IN THE WAY! I read that book back in June and I just couldn't stop thinking about it. It was one of my favourites and I recommend reading it if you want something forbidden and if you like age gapped romances.

Omgosh I loved the fallen too far books!! Blaire and rush’s story melted my heart but I did kind of want Blair with woods at the same time.

Clash by Belle Aurora is my newest fave with this trope!!🥺 i loved this so much and have been obsessed ever since i finished it. heroine is one of my faves of all time now, while the hero, despite his dickish behaviour, managed to snag my heart, eurgh🥰 highly recommend that one!!

Okay so I was looking for some new books to read and came across The Doctor by Nikki Sloane. I haven't read it yet but going off the description alone it sound pretty similar to Birthday Girl and I know you loved that story Laura so I thought I would recommend.💕

I got my book 'something in the way' am definitely going to read this one for sure because i have been searching for the books to read. Also have you read savage little lies by eden o'neill it is the Continuation of Dirty wicked prince this book is really interesting if you looking for a dark romance you should definitely give it a chance and plot is very thrilling that's why i thought to recommend it. If you read my comment plz reply i am looking forward to it.

I want to read Something in the way series but I'm so scared.😭 I've heard that it gives off balance vibes to some people and as someone who has read and loved that series, I don't know how I'll feel about this one, but now that you've read it, maybe I'll give it a try.

So the series starts when the heroine is 16 and the hero is 23 but no romance happens until a lot later and she’s older when that happens!

It would be a dream come true and honor if you were to ever read and review my book. It’s a bad boy good girl romance with a medieval historic feel. The title is My Assassin’s Heart its about a professional killer who falls in love with the Princess he was hired to kill. She is the daughter of the most hated King in the region because of how cold hearted he is. My book has 31k reads so far which I feel so grateful to have. I hope to get it published hard copy once I finish it.

Abbie glines books, are so wierd for me. Because I do not feel like I agree with her worldview at all in terms of male/female relationships and gender norms. Like she took heteronormativity to a whole new level lol. But I really like the characters and always root for them.
okay i get what you’re saying 100%!! i will say i think in her newer books shes made such a change in how she writes her female leads, way less internalized misogyny.

So if her books get better in that regard that is really good news ❤ I haven't checked in on her newer stuff yet post rosemary beach, seabreeze, Vincent brothers and field party series. Come to think of it I havent finished the field party series or that odd paranormal trilogy that she did. I have some catching up to do! Lol
