    Had my razer 14 with 3070 for two months now and hasn't crapped out on me once. Every task I've thrown at it the laptop flies through it. Another main attraction is that its so small and portable that it feels almost like a notebook rather than a chunky gaming brick. Idk, personally had an awesome experience with mine.

    How come youve done this? I just watched your video saying how bad they were and to avoid them?

    Thanks for the nice review. Although I have a question, I don't understand why backlit in your keyboard doesn't light the symbols in the function keys. That's a little weird because there are several other youtubers who shows that those symbols actually have backlit (for example ua-cam.com/video/TCuMmtb_F9s/v-deo.html). Is there something I missing? Thanks!

      Very interesting. I ordered mine directly from Razer. I know in the past Tom the tech chap has received preproduction units. I can confirm the one received was what is being manufactured and sent out to actual customers though.

      Very rare... how can I recognize a model with full backlighting from others with partial backlighting on the keyboard when buying? I also can't find anything about this on reddit...

      I would get in touch with Razer. May also be a regional thing.

      Only the US models supposedly have the FN keys backlight, not a deal breaker but something to note.

    It's 680 quid off on Amazon rn. Is it worth it at that price?

    Thanks for your analysis and comparison. I think I would prefer the Lenovo Legion 7 but can't wait 1-6 months for it, and the Razer Blade 14 is in stock now, and it's primarily for travelling so that's probably what I'll get. I don't understand why they don't just have the Legion 7 in stock and ready to order or buy at physical stores.

      In the UK on Amazon the Razor dropped by £500+ in price for a few days. At virtually the same price, if you are ok with 16GB ram that cant be upgraded and are travelling, this go for it, its a great machine, just not at £6-700 more.

    This will be my second Razer Blade. My first was a 2015 Blade 14 with a 970 so its been quite an upgrade for me. As for blue screen I have yet to experience either with both of the blade I have owned.
    I did have a few reliability I have had a few issues with the new one to start. One of my keys on the keyboard was not set properly and I couldn't use the key, I had to get a small flat head screwdriver and wedge the key up and re-set the key in place. I also did not have Windows activated on the new blade 14, I had to contact Razer support and we got that fixed within a few minuets. Still with these couple issues out of the box I am not so sure I want to keep the laptop...
    I think I am going to give it another week before I make my decision.

      I did a lot of research to see how many people have had problems with Razer laptops and it seems to be a lot more than any other manufacturer.
      Linus for example, he stated none of his have lasted over two years and a couple of years back from 11 they purchased for their staff 9 had to go back within one year.
      Such a shame as they are built with a real premium feel.

    How often does the blue screen of death (bsod) occur? …..I guess you will be returning this.
    Nice honest review.

      Thank you. It had done it a total of 5 times in a week of not so often use. When it happened during editing and caused me to lose work I was done 😂

    For Lenovo on-site repair how does it work. If I buy the 4 year insure repair do they come to my house free for repair? That would be great. With Razer I’ve had to send it in twice everything and the last it didn’t fix everything. It’s insane…

    • @TruthReviews

      With me not only did Razer not fix my issue. They returned the laptop with screws missing both from the case and internally from the nvme.
      Yes they say they will come to your house within one business day to perform an on-site repair.

    Legion 7 rtx3070 or this razer rtx3070?

    • @TruthReviews

      Legion 7. That 16:10 screen is a must for me. Also I have had terrible experiences with Razer customer service and never had any Razer laptop last more than two years.

    More importantly, the Razer Blade looks aesthetic as fuck while the legion looks like a shitbox

    I've bought half a year ago legion 5, 144hz almost full coverage with very good latency around 10ms, 16gb ram, rtx 2060 115w ( close to 2070 ) , ryzen 4600H, 1TB SSD and for 100€ bought another 1TB SSD, 3 zone rgb keyboard, 80wh battery all in all for 1250€ + 100€ 1 tb samsung SSD. And I'm playing games on QHD LG CX everything crakned to ultra despite ray tracing and such and it always give me over 60fps. I want to buy something better, but why ? it works very well. Only lenovo support is a joke and sometimes updates doest more harm then good, fan porfiles are very basic, temps are amazing 77c both at 45db full gaming. If i buy this it will give me 30% more graphic power, so I will have not 60fps, but 73. Is it worth two times as much tho ?

      If it works for what you need no need to upgrade man. You will be paying double for no reason.

      @@TruthReviews thank you , I’ve saw legion 5 with very nice prices so even rtx 3070 seems to go for 1600 or so . The real dealbreaker is battery life when working , that’s where I believe MacBook m1 base for 900€ is good choice for second laptop

    Will you return it?

    • @TruthReviews
      @TruthReviews  3 роки тому

      Yes, I just can not justify paying £400 more for half the ram, 1 less NVME slot and about 20% lower performance over the Legion 7.

    Razer always crash no other brand gives you the blue screen of death other than Razer. Save your money go with other laptop brand.

    • @TruthReviews
      @TruthReviews  3 роки тому +1

      Very true. I have been using the Legion 7 for two months daily, not a single blue screen of death.

      @@TruthReviews I have an MSI gs66 stealth has never given me any blue screen of death. Very disappointing on razer's behalf also their customer's service is crap.

      I’m eager to try the Acer Triton 500 SE. On paper looks like the perfect mix of a laptop you can use for business and games. I sold my last Razer laptop and when the guy showed up to buy it he said the battery swelled and Razer told him to remove it and then ship it back. He was not tech savvy at all and had no idea what to do. Point is, a company is telling customers to remove batteries in their laptops. I’ve heard so many people have their laptops returned with more issues than those they sent it off with. Mine in the past have come back with screws and drives missing 😂

    • @Eisentours
      @Eisentours 3 роки тому

      @@TruthReviews This is why I'm never buying a razerblade laptop. People should be more aware of their crappy faulty product they sell since most people pay top dollar for it. That Acer triton se looks good. Reminds me of the MSI Z16 that looks awesome if you never seen it man but it's aimed more for creators than gamers you can still game on it though.

      I saw the z16. It looks great. Just a shame about the 3060 in it. For that price it’s going up against the xps 17 with a 3060. But it does the 120hz qhd display.
