This was a beautiful interview. Kimmel is obviously left, and Spicer is obviously right, but they're able to have a civil discussion. No. Sean Spicer got out because like all positions in the White House under the current Administration... It's a goddamn sinking ship. Forget Titanic, this is more along the lines of Watership Down. well he denied his presidential salary and publicly shot down a saudi prince trying to bribe him on twitter. so sean spicer stumbles a bit when he speaks, doesnt mean its a Freudian slip.
Bullsh*t it doesn't. Clear as day Freudian Slip... How much money do you suppose he's saving himself by having our tax money to pay for all of his daily expenses? $200K is not even a drop in the bucket comparatively. Amazing how poor his supporters are at thinking critically. I'll take a stab and say you didn't do well in school. I'm not on twitter, but seriously, how stupid do you have to be to think he (or anyone) could get away with publicly accepting a bribe?
cameron lassiter just because Trump said that he was donating his presidential salary doesn't mean he's actually doing it. Look it up; there are reports that he has not donated a dime. He will not donate, it was a lie. Sheep.
Thank you Jimmy Kimmel. To introduce us what's going on in the States. Thank you for putting on the Democratic T-Shirt. And real thanks to all of you to/for upload these videos so fast. Reggards from Buenos Aires, Argentina. :)
JD Quinty Could be. I think in context, spin works better. Of course, I’m not a mind reader, but I’m pretty good at spotting bullshit. 7:39 “My job is to articulate his position.” Trying to articulate obvious bullshit statements (biggest crowd ever!) is, by definition, spin.
xyxean yeah that's true but I think his answers were very honest while still being very respectful. If he were to be downright honest in all his answers, he'd probably be the biggest jerk in the room.
xyxean: I expected exactly that to happen. Kimmel, by the way, was too nice and didn't ask again and again. Made it even a lot easier for Spicer to circle around the question.
Sean was the best part of Trump's administration. He might not be the most lovely person when he's on his job. But he was the least damaging one. A little bit annoying and yet sometimes even cute. After he left his job he seems to be a good fella.
Oh please. He got up and time and time again lied to the American people. How is that cute? This is how comfortable people are now with politicians and their people lying to us constantly.
he has explained that being a White House Press Secretary means that your job is to represent the *goddamn President* 's voice. *Not his own.* While he was on his job, he stayed professional - meaning that he lied to the people for his boss - which is the meaning of being a professional White House Press Secretary - *which is sad*. Thanks to Trumpf. And in this interview you can see that he knows it was all lies. He knows it was wrong. But anyways, I blame Obama for it. xDDDDD
Think we can all agree that minions can be cute? Going by the OP and the responses? Just a guy being cute and celebratory about being the minion to a xenophobic, narcissistic, corrupt pinhead though.
Jimmy did a wonderful thing trying to bring the 2 groups of people together. The sad part is that unless a hardliner puts his finger in the wounds and in his side ,he cant know or appreciate what another is suffering. I don’t know if empathy can be taught but Jimmy did an outstanding job trying to get the anti daca people to feel their pain.
I can only imagine all the dirt about Obama that was hidden. Can't wait for some insiders to write a book but it will have to wait several years until Obama isn't a threat.
You didn't watch Bannon's interview on 60 Minutes You can see the whole thing as well as many outtakes on the CBS 60 Minutes website. Really good inside information. Bannon supports Trump's agenda even though he may not agree with everything, but that's true for most administrations.
We should be more gracious to one another... Each of us holds to a particular worldview based on our own knowledge and experiences. This shapes how we interpret and perceive things. Although not everyone has good, honest motives, we should be slow to speak and quick to listen. It's okay to disagree, but being antagonistic and hateful is not helpful.
A respectful conversation between two people that obviously have two different points of view communicating with the intent to understand one another but also explain their opinions with respect. Great interview. When done right, poking fun at one another and acknowledging humorous moments opens room for dialog, opening room for dialog opens room for understanding. Understanding allows room for unity. Personally, I did not approve of President Trump, but this does help just a bit enough for healing.
This interview would have been EPIC had Mellisa McCarthy came out in full Spicy mode to surprise him!

Not really. If he had the balls, he'd have said the crowd is smaller, right then and there.

well he denied his presidential salary and publicly shot down a saudi prince trying to bribe him on twitter. so sean spicer stumbles a bit when he speaks, doesnt mean its a Freudian slip.
Russia bought it
That's comforting, I thought that Trump's heart was in his lower sector.
cameron lassiter just because Trump said that he was donating his presidential salary doesn't mean he's actually doing it. Look it up; there are reports that he has not donated a dime. He will not donate, it was a lie. Sheep.
Looking to and admiring the US (14:50)? That time is long gone...
blub2121 💯
he actually held up pretty well, all things considered.
Trumps heart is in the right PRICE! 🤣🤣🤣 he got that right! Nice Freudian slip there Spicey, loved it..
He seems happier now than he ever has being the Press Sec.
Thank you Jimmy Kimmel.
To introduce us what's going on in the States.
Thank you for putting on the Democratic T-Shirt.
And real thanks to all of you to/for upload these videos so fast.
Reggards from Buenos Aires, Argentina. :)
7:44
He almost slipped and said “...really good how you spun this.” He caught himself.
*spoke about
JD Quinty
Could be. I think in context, spin works better. Of course, I’m not a mind reader, but I’m pretty good at spotting bullshit.
7:39
“My job is to articulate his position.”
Trying to articulate obvious bullshit statements (biggest crowd ever!) is, by definition, spin.
Is it just me or is Melissa McCarthy getting hotter?
Not hotter. _Spicier_
Veteran Nintenerd so much win
no your going blind for looking directly at her
Beer Goggles?
joe blow Melissa McCarthy is not your person and not your business!!! ♥️🙏🏽👁🕊🗽⚖️🌏💦💦💦💦💦
What a stand up guy. Even if i dont share the same views as him he still seems like a genuine dude. I think we all need to be reminded of that!
he's very good at giving an answer but not really answering the question
xyxean yeah that's true but I think his answers were very honest while still being very respectful. If he were to be downright honest in all his answers, he'd probably be the biggest jerk in the room.
xyxean that is how politicians are suppose to talk. Confuses and derails the conversation
xyxean: I expected exactly that to happen. Kimmel, by the way, was too nice and didn't ask again and again. Made it even a lot easier for Spicer to circle around the question.
you're right! Reminded me of Hillary!
xyxean. Trump was a great influence that's why.
Kudos for doing this interview and especially for parodying himself at the Emmys. Whatever you think of him, that took guts!
This is so much more informative than it should be
OKAY but jimmy's suit is BEAUTIFUL
Such a professional liar he's convinced himself.
He drinks the Koolaid withoit question now! The guy totally lost his soul.
The best comment I've seen so far.
I miss Sean Spicer. He was a riot. It made watching the press conferences more interesting. I wish him luck in his future endeavors.
Sounded like Spicer said Trump's heart is "In the right price". Which actually would make more sense lol
VenomKitetsu I heard him say "prace", lol well played spicey
i just laughed for 20 minutes at this comment
Sean was the best part of Trump's administration. He might not be the most lovely person when he's on his job. But he was the least damaging one. A little bit annoying and yet sometimes even cute. After he left his job he seems to be a good fella.
I still detest his appearance at the Emmys but I just can't bring myself to hate that smiling face 100%...it's so sparkly...!
But anyways, I blame Obama for it. xDDDDD
Grandious "tenure," The job description is ten years of lies in a few short months.
Did anyone else catch him say that Donald's heart is in the right price?
Jimmy is trying so hard to bait him into saying something provocative
it's so obvious too.. shameless
That's his job!
I can only imagine all the dirt about Obama that was hidden. Can't wait for some insiders to write a book but it will have to wait several years until Obama isn't a threat.
Really?? Watch his interview with Obama...do you think he asked him about his obsession with drone strike murders of innocent people?
Duck of death he was only a messenger. Calm down
What a great guy! Lots of respect for him.
Seems like spicey is more of a wing man to trump on the outside rather than bannon! Seems to me!
You didn't watch Bannon's interview on 60 Minutes You can see the whole thing as well as many outtakes on the CBS 60 Minutes website. Really good inside information. Bannon supports Trump's agenda even though he may not agree with everything, but that's true for most administrations.
Spicer Was A Trump Wingman, loyal.
Bannon Was A Back Seat Driver and bailed out of the Kamikaze Plane.
I get the same impression. Spicer announced his loyalty, Bannon just said he's going to step on anyone who gets in Drumpf's way.
the only real wing man in history is Goebbels, everyone else is a snake comparing to him
And the Trump critics still can't be specific in why they dislike him....
Chanting is the new thinking
Spicer has aged 5 years in 6 months
thank you kimmel
I don’t think I could ever trust anyone who would knowingly lie to order day after day.
Or worked for trump.
My birthday was the same day I was born
Good for you.
So you're an idiot, cool.
Russel Biazon hot lol
I live next to my house
Life is crazy
Great interview!
18:48 Couldn't be more accurate, "his heart's in the right 'price' "
"His heart's in the right PRICE." 18 minutes, 54 seconds.
This was a great job by Jimmy.
"Have you ever seen the President Naked?"
"No, I have not"
He wasn't making eye contact with Jimmy...
In my rulebook that's a lie....
Litesh Gawande I don't think he's lying, why would 45 want people to know how tiny his wiener is?
WonderLizzz 🙊
Waiting for Mike Pence to REVEAL the truth...
Amen!😇😇😇
Brandon Phifer -well said Brandon.
Too much Spicy. I want Melissa McCarthy's spicyyy!!
He's got a good sense of humor, unlike other Republicans
That's a very general statement. I wouldn't necessarily say that seriously if I were you.
General but true.
C stereotyping much????
I see the sarcasm police are out
scout101499 you obviously left your sense of humor in 1998
I think the little under-his-breath-whispery statements ACTUALLY provide the best information in this interview. ☺
18:47 "his heart's in the right price"
I don't care if it's a steal. I don't want it!
MrStensnask so I did hear that right!
