I had a Fractal Ultra when it was the top model, then I moved on to Helix Floor (still have it; and I use HX-Effects with my amps). I recently got the Fractal FM9 Mk II Turbo, and after using the global parametric EQ on output 1 to cut lows and highs, it sounds amazing. To anyone new to Fractal, I recommend starting with: 1) global parametric EQ; 2) build a simple rig: Input block --> amp block --> cab block --> output block; then dial it in to your liking.
@@g-man2725 yeah, Emppu is amazing, Once is such a masterpiece... And when Euge did his previous video with Roope, I thought the name sounded familiar, so I checked, and he did indeed play on the latest Brother Firetribe album (which is very good btw) !
Isn't 1959 an important transition year for Gibson LP players, where the neck was supposedly "unicorn" like in nature, i think because it was a transition neck profile between the fat 50s necks and thinner 60s necks?
Long live the 80's. I can't get enough!

The cream of the crop of portable modelers right there.
Easy on the reverb, chief!
Good enough to replace Emppu Vuorinen in Brother Firetribe (awesome band !!)...says all that needs to be said !

FM9 sounds great, But that Tyler takes the cake.
I can't have those headstocks tho' 😁
@@zoomzoom3950 I can live with it for sure.
Hi, Euge! Cortex vs Fractal - your choice?
I use Quad Cortex live where I have captured all my amps so that works for me really well. But both does the job absolutely fine.
@EugeValovirta230V do you have any preset uploads to the cloud? Would love to check out some of your tones with my guitars
@@C0mmand0Brand0g Yes I do and I'll upload more in the near future: cloud.neuraldsp.com/cloud/u/EugeValovirta
