This is by far the most sophisticated and elegant method I have seen to wrap beach glass.. Keep doing what you’re doing. You have talent. Leaving on a cruise in 2 weeks and wanted to look up this topic. Yours was my favorite
I really like the style of your wire wrap on this beach glass. You have it in high gear, if you could slow it down for the beginners to watch it would be much easier for me to make. I really appreciate that you shared your video. I did watch it in slow motion. I was a little confused on the Criss-Cross and wrapping them to the top of the bail, which ones I start with first. Thank you for your unique ideas
I used the slow down feature on UA-cam. It was still a bit fast for me, but it helped quite a bit. I put it on 1/4 speed and turned the volume off because people sound funny on slowdown.
Oh I love the look of the finished pendant, but I literally got a headache watching your high-speed video. Also, your fingers are in the way so much that I couldn't tell what you were doing with the wires. It was like watching a magician and trying to catch their slight-of-hand movements in order to figure out the magic trick. Lastly, close-ups where the pendant fills the frame and then slowly rotating the piece at a few points through the process would really help convey what steps were being taken.
@@michelleknight7362 you're off the main page you're in the replies of another viewer. I don't think she replies cuz I did her design a while back. You just have to improvise and work with what you have.
Yes. I agree! I love this pendant. If you click on the three dots in the upper right corner, you can slow the “playback speed” to faster or slower to 0.75, 05 or 0.25 times the “normal” speed.
I am an 80-year-old lady who has a large jar of beach glass. I need to do something with it. Love what you do. I have a friend who has all the pliers from a friend that were used to wrap gems. I love the sea glass. Thanks for your inspiration to see if I can do a simple beach glass. If I master one, I'll post a picture....
The final result is just so pretty. I think wire wrapping stones are just about improvising because each stone has a unique shape and colour. It seems so fun to do this
Wow..this is beautiful. I stumbled upon some sea glass yesterday during our camping by the seaside. Now I know what to do with them..thanks for sharing this video.
I was just looking for help in making nose bridge wires for FaceMasks and found your channel. What a beautiful thing to do with glass from the beach. Many years ago I tumbled a lot of semiprecious stones. I just didn’t know what to make out of them and finally gave them all away. But you have inspired me. I also think I can use these techniques to really make some good nose bridges. If you have any thought on this may be you could make a video. A lot of folk are struggling to find the right material that can withstand being washed without destroying the fabric of the masks.
I love the simple elegance of this piece! I have a huge collection of West Coast sea glass that I have been wire weaving into things, and I will totally be trying this design! Thanks for sharing!
I used your tutorial to make a pendant. Thank you for the easy to follow video! Mine turned out really different but I had a completely different stone!
You are correct I have collected so much sea glass from Lake Erie, Hamburg Beach area and want to start wire wrapping. This is great, would love it if you did classes. Hint, hint.
I love all colors of sea glass. I grew up close to Lake Michigan. My mother was making jewelry when I was little. I love working with the shapes of sea glass and the setting u used in this piece. I work a lot with crystals and this wrapping is perfect. Thank u for sharing, I will definitely subscribe
So awesome. Thanks for sharing the techniques that you learned. It really helps shorten the learning curve for all of us viewing this video. Great job too. Followed the flow of that glass perfectly.
Very nice, but here in Hungary, we just have a big muddy lake called Balaton, the Hungarian sea - definitely without seaglass 😅 I will build my cabbing machine and make them from some kind of colored glass. Seems to be a good idea - more unique and cheaper than buying expensive cabochones.
Thank you. I love finding depression glass in the desert. It’s not sea glass but it’s close :) love how you did this wrap good work. The variation of colors tells a story about what years in which the glass was made. You might find that interesting to look up for your collection of sea glass:)
I am going to Walmart right now to get the pliers and the guage!😍 Don't have a sea glass but as a starter I can use the dollar tree's one. I loved the pendant dearly! Thank you for your help 💜🙏🏾🌿
I am a new subscriber my wife loves beach glass I just recently purchased for her 2 very fine And expensive. Pieces Thank you for your knowledge and expertise I cannot wait to put your Tips and techniques into practice I think it's time for me to make my own
Your wire work is absolutely perfect! I’m trying to keep up and I’m taking notes but I just can’t see the wires well enough. I understand you’re on a time crunch but it would really help if you would slow down and show your work to the camera
Thank you so much! I'm learning how to be a videographer and editor still so there will be bumps like this as we progress. Thank you for your feedback!
After hours of watching tutorials yours popped up and it was the best one bar none as it was fast to the point and I just wanted to say great job also where can we get the instructions for this particular item? Thanks Jodi
Thank you! There are no written instructions for the piece, it's a one of a kind that was sold in the shop a while back. If there's enough interest I can remake it with more detail - but keep in mind that each piece of beach glass will be different!
WOW! Beautifully done you sure have talent! Just came across your channel and have Subscribed!!!! Can't wait to see more off your work my checking out your video's thank you again Liz x
Absolutely love this design! Your instructions were very clear and precise. Thank you! Can't wait to try it out. I'm just starting out with this craft actually and I'm having difficulties just straightening wire out of a spiral. Lol. Has to be a trick I haven't seen yet.
What kind of wire are you using if you don't mind my asking? Some wires are easier to bend than others. I use dead soft Sterling silver but it can be pricey to start with.
Extremely helpful video! I'm just getting into wire wrapping and there are so facets to this craft. Unfortunately I don't live even remotely close to a source of beach glass, so I'll have to make my own, but your tutorial will really help when it comes time to wrap it!
So so beautiful! My favorite wrap Ive seen so far. My only suggestion is that you go a little slower for those of us actually trying to following the tutorial. Thanks!
Cindy...just slow the speed of your video down. Go to the little wheel icon which is your settings. Go to Playback Speed. I also use this trick if a speaker or video is moving along too slow for me...and I speed the video up. Works like a charm.
Hi. I was wondering if you or anyone in the comment section could help me out. I wire wrap often but I noticed some of my wire has changed color over time. What is the BEST wire to use for pendants. I make my pendants really fancy so it bothers me to see the change of color over time. Maybe the silver tarnishes Can you please share the name brand of wire that does not change color over time.... so I can continue to make these treasures? Thank you so much. You created a beautiful pendant in this video. I like how you made the extra wire into curls along side it. May GOD BLESS you. Peace, Lynne 🍃💜🍃
Thank you! The only metal that does not tarnish is gold. Tarnish can be cleaned off of silver. Here's a video I made for how to clean the tarnish off using baking soda and aluminum foil. ua-cam.com/video/64t11ZkfKPk/v-deo.html

Very nice wrap but I could hardly follow it. I couldn't figure out how you were holding the two wires to wrap the other wire around it

Where do you purchase your wire? I can’t find any that bends as nicely as yours.
Rio Grande Jewelry Supply. Make sure it's "dead soft wire". As you work with it, it becomes work hardened.
You just made that look so easy. I'm about to fail... Wish me luck 🤣
Good luck!
