Singing this for a vocal compitition, can't get anything past the key change
Erica Richter yeah, after the key change, it's pretty hard to do! Maybe try using mix with more chest voice than head voice so it sounds mostly belted.

i already did, i sang it lower key. i was in the lobby for 1 1/2 hours before i auditions and i forgot how the song went and the director had to tell me how it went. i didn't get a part in the play..
ViaSkye well, you live and you learn. Always try to stick with what you sing best with range wise for auditions.

my only tip as an actress would be to really deadpan the beginning, and my tips as a singer would be to slow down and please be careful with your voice!!!!!!!!!! but i really liked it, having performed this song in showcases and for pro showbiz-ers, I can say that this was a very good rendition :))))))

You need to slow down and watch your top notes. You tend to make them louder but otherwise a good performance.

Great presentation. But I'm worried about how you are treating your voice. You are too young to be belting like that. Be careful or you'll have no head tone. It's a while since this was posted so I hope you've been careful because your instrument has a lot of potential.
