I hope he's taking his time with you because 19 is too young to make big life decisions. Take it from me I like a woman who is 20 or 21 and her age is an issue. She's very mature and handles herself well but that is too young to decide to be in a relationship with someone much older like me. In 5 years I don't want her to wonder if she made a mistake.

Awh, how sweet. My hubby & I have been married for 6 yrs. Still going strong too. He asked me to marry him after he took me out to a nice restaurant & the movie "Oblivion" But he popped the question after we got back to his house, down on one knee & ring in hand. He & I like the very private thing when asking that question & of course & obviously I said YES. He's my love of my life.

I was just watching your video from today, and for some reason this popped up after! I probably watched this when it came out because I've been watching you for a few years. It was so adorable to relisten to this story! Especially since my boyfriend and I just picked out my engagement ring yesterday!! Like perfect timing lol. Hiiiiiiiii ! No disrespect, definitely a huge supporter of the two of you . But do you ever feel as if the big age gap has put a “ fast forward “ on your life ( example being maybe the way you act , dress , or things you now consider fun ) ? Or do you believe this is the person you’d be even without an older husband ?? 🙂
Tae Michaela I’m not Mindy, but as someone in the same situation with a slightly smaller gap (20yrs) I think it depends on the person. If your views and interests align, there will be less friction. The one concern is aging and physically not being able to do quite the same things. Other than that, the way I act, dress, and things I consider fun have not changed at all as we get along very well and have compatible personalities. I think the big thing is to find someone youthful at heart.
Tae Michaela I honestly would still be the person I am today. I won’t deny that Larry has changed me for the better, I was wild and honestly a bit of a party person. I’m family oriented and settled down and I love that. I’m happy with where I am and wouldn’t change it for anything.
