I know you guys have been waiting! The car is up and running! Thanks for all the support you guys have been crushing it with the continued support! God bless! 🙏
Yes sir! Gotta get that exhaust leak sorted out. Idk, the CXR down pipe doesn’t mate up to the turbo exhaust housing very well. I might have to use a gasket or something in there. Overall though I can’t complain! One step closer to making a little more power!
@@biggs1485 that’s good. I’m nervous to use that since it’s literally right on the exhaust housing and Downpipe. Last thing I want is my car up in flames. I think I have found a solution. At least it has quieted down the leak a good amount thus far.
Of course I can! Probably will be a few videos out from now but I definitely can. I have been trying to be as informative as I can. People want to boost these things but it can be a daunting task not knowing the ins and outs. Really appreciate you watching!
Wow that down pipe bend is TIGHT.... thats crazy if thats a c.x. down pipe. I would move thoes hoses and use up that extra space on a radius manderal bend right off the turbine. (Most important part of your exhaust) Is your v band on the turbine? That v band warps super easy when weilded. They love to leak. That zip tie will melt. Double or triple it up if you dont want to cut that line and add a barbed 90 with clamps. Point it out of the way for 5 $ in parts if your poor. I have no experience and borrowd a wielder to do my entire exhaust. Took two v band flanges to get the d.p. right and not warped. S52b32 in a e39 touring. (I have a few short videos on youtube)
Oh it’s definitely TIGHT! It’s just the complete CXRACING kit. It’s on. I’m not taking it back off unless I absolutely have to lol. The exhaust housing is a V-band housing. The down pipe obviously is v-band as well.
Hell ya! You might not even push enough boost for it to be a big restriction? Just know if you bottle neck power before redline and or high emap or high exhaust temps thats most likely it.
Don't merge your o2 sensors if you have stock ecu with bank 1 and 2 on 1 and 6. The car will run better and your LTFT will be better if you keep them separate from my experience. Nice build✌
Hey thanks man. So far it’s been ok. I plan on making o2 sims for the down stream o2 sensors. I don’t plan on keeping this auto forever. Otherwise I wouldn’t even be using the stock ECU. Are you still running a FIC?
@@Knownworldwide I am still on stock ecu with 7 psi of boost and I used spark plug Fowler's for my bank 2 sensors and I get no codes. I'd rather stay close to stock as possible, but I do think about doing the gte-vvti head cam sensor mod so I can use the aristo ecu.😄
@ the fitting threads are tapered as well however the actual amount of threads available in the oil pan (it’s a thin piece of metal) aren’t many. It seals just fine. Not one drop of oil has come out.

Best turbo build series so far I've seen for IS300. Thanks 👌👌!
Thanks 🙏 appreciate you watching and tuning it! Really means a lot.
I just subscribed I love the is300 and I love informative videos thanks for being awesome keep it up
Hey thanks bro! I can say the same to you! You subbed and watched the video. Do you have an IS also?
Looks great bro 👌
Thanks buddy
hell yeah sounds really good! cant wait for the 1st drive got to hear that turbo whine

@@Knownworldwide use some ultra grey
@Biggs that stuff will melt. The temp range is no where near high enough.
@@Knownworldwide oh yeah, because of the turbo , I used a small amount on my stock manifold & it seems to hold

Nice dude, really makes me want to turbo my 2004
Do it! It’s definitely some work but it will be worth it!
ALSO, thanks for watching 🙏
Would you do a build parts list? All the extra odds and ends you’ve had to get outside of the kit? Love the car

For the heater hose i cut it shorter so it doesnt sit on the downpipe. Also wrapped it with a heat sleeve and never had an issue
That’s great. Mine has been just fine so far. Things I will address as time goes on for sure. How you liking your setup? Same kit or different?
That’s got to be a good feeling! Sounds good!!
Super excited! It definitely sounds good! Can’t wait to make some boost!
YUUUUUUHHHHHHH!
Watching your videos doing mine too how can I get in contact with you thanks 🙏

Holey smokes, ill, you need some new headlamp housings!
🤫 don’t tell anybody yet…
They did look ok 3 years ago when we bought the car. It’ll all get addressed at some point extreme

What did you do with the primary o2s?

How did you tap the turbo drain from the bottom and then installed it from the top?

What ecu u using?
Stock ECU. Car is an automatic so I need it there to control the transmission.
