Bravo Bozo!!!!!!
Bozo! Amazing my friend! I'm working on this at Peabody Conservatory in Maryland, US. This is inspirational, really amazing bass playing. Thank you for all your hard work and keep it up!
BEAUTIFUL!
perfect!
I really enjoy the cadenza! :D
Fantastic Cadenza, beats mine.
Wow
Bravo
Incredible!
The original is so much better from the well known version, anyhow the performance is stunning...
Compared to the others n what i searched on itunes, bozos rendition is the best in tempo orchestration n cadenza where can i find it as a download?
Thanks a lot! Dittersdorf is a complete surprise for me, and I belive for many people also: his musicality is pretty akin to that of Mozart's.
Dittersdorf was a friend of Mozart’s, they also played in a quartet together often.
Bravo Bozo!!!
Gruss, Horst (2.Vl. LSO)
Wie die Zeit vergeht... Mein Kommentar ist 8 Jahre her 😱
Bozo svaka ti cast. . .pozdrav iz Crne Gore.Sve najbolje!!!Hoces li drzati koncerte u blizini?
Dear Bozo, this is absolutely fantastic. I completely agree that the original versions of these classical works should be studied and performed: what most people know are essentially transcriptions. I hope that a critical edition of the 1st concerto may be made available soon... do you know if it will be available anytime soon?
maestro, congratulations! excellent performance ... please can you tell me who wrote the cadenza? thank you so much!
Beautiful cadenza! Is there sheet music available?
Does anyone know if there a place were I could get the sheet music for the cadenza? Thanks!
Abram Collette probably in his web bozoparadzik.com but i dont know
Are you in the normal G-D-A-E tuning or are you up a 4th in order to have the high C?
AEBF# it was...
Are you playing in solo tuning? Or is this Viennese tuning?
This was "solo" tuning, AEBF#
I am never playing Viennese tuning
Lol 6:45 the end of the cadenza that's the most original cadenza I've ever heard!
Man, Bozo's tone is just so astounding in this. Though I can't help wondering what bass he plays?
Derek High, built 2000
you're a wizard ? hahaha I'm kidding, I'm Brazilian, and I am your fan too and also play Double Bass, 'm Kaio Phelippe, the orchestra, Instituto Grupo Pão de Açucar, and one day I hope to meet you.
Da
is this famous oeuvre copyright protected?
Nope
I suppose my beginner's ignorance caused me to believe that the G-D-A-E tuning was considered normal, as I have yet to play in a different tuning. Thank you for the information though.
Have you ever heard of "abnormal" tuning? 😅
When the score is written for another tuning it is called “scordatura”, the score will usually have the abnormal tuning written out somewhere at the top left corner of the page below the title.
What technique do you use?
I fail to understand your point
03:47 that cough or sneeze...
Could anyone translate, or if Bozo himself would be so kind to answer in English too. Another bassists is interested in the answer!
Sorry, I wasn't able to answer for several years, due to Google's crappy idea to upgrade all accounts to Google+ (dead meanwhile). I didn't wanna change my channel's name for that, so answering was disabled for my account 😂 What was the question please?
I just completed my own transcription of Bozo's cadenza! So much better than Streicher's
Yeah, I agree! I was looking for other cadenzas to play and I found this one to be my favorite. Is there any way you can send me the transcription? I would appreciate it very much.
I think he played this concerto so well backstage he got arrested and had to play with prison clothes 😂
😂😂😂 LOL, agree about the shirt, looks evil, but it was very hot there on the stage
Ahahah 😂😂😂 i bet !
You'r an awesome bass player and an inspiring musician... Keep Rocking !!!
I must disagree. I'm a bass player too, so of course I'm biased. But the low coarse tone is nothing I find wrong - allthough I do not even agree that the bass has a coarse sound (well, you can draw a coarse sound, but you can also choose a sweet sound). However, my favourite instruments to listen too are Contrabass and Bass clarinet, Basson and contrabasson, and bass and normal trombone. Why does a solo piece have to be written for an instument with a sweet lean tone?
And your mother directs the angel choirs! This is fabulously executed. Please finish high school, and live a while. Earn your disrespect honestly, little boy.
this is a great concert he got a great bowing technique and a lot of sound, im damn shure u can't play this, u must be in your first year on the contrabass, like luther 357 says please finish high school and maybe, MAYBE you'll see how good he hes...
It's a shame about the breaks in the recording, which, to me, make it unlistenable. Pity, because it's a piece I would love to hear.
Wow, you're not kidding! I couldn't even make it to two minutes. Damn shame.
I see now what you mean, no idea how did UA-cam manage do spoil that, the recording was perfectly fine while ago.
+Božo Paradžik
You did a outstanding job sir. As a bassist myself I can't imagine myself doing what you did. Bravo.
I don't like Viennese tuning, sorry
@mortalfrog0815 No matter what you think the bass was made to do, we are as much soloists as violinists are. Whatever conclusion you draw from the multitudes of bass-orientated pieces, the fact that a solo featured at a theater can sell the seats out as well as a violinist and that there is an entire genre of music that incorporates bass solos as a regular part of its music is up to you. You don't frustrate me--your ignorance towards bass repertoire is your own problem, not mine.
Really better than this famous one!
Bane Misina Zar ovo nije E dur?
@Mikeinatorable of course the double bass was made to accompany, i know that's frustrating! when i wrote that comment i knew that bass players will hate me but don't tell me i don't know what i'm talking about... i think it sounds bad as a solo instrument, if you don't agree that's fine for me but my opinion is my opinion! you don't have to give a crap about it...
Only the people who are capable of playing both styles are capable of giving an useful comment about it. The elegance in the interpretation has nothing to do with the bow style
i'm sorry about my following comment! this man plays truly fantastic but the double bass just isn't a solo instrument... it was made to accompany other instruments and that's what it sounds like! every other instrument is more capable of soloing!
Hard disagree, the bass is very capable of being a solo instrument. I
This isn't moderato at all.
Should it be?
It should be allegro moderato, this sounds like the moderato is left out.
@@Stichting_NoFap Maybe we feel it different....
Moderato is not a set tempo. You should choose the tempo based off of how you can best convey your feelings through the words “Allegro moderato” it is different for everyone. That is the beauty in music.
