After LOVEBITES announced that they were back in action and would be auditioning bassists, hundreds of applications were received from all over the world. From among them, they finally chose FAMI, who was only a 20-year-old college student at the time and had little experience playing in a band. Some fans were apprehensive about her selection, so they decided to let the new LOVEBITES be judged on the performance of the album they were making, and titled the album “Judgement Day”. In case you are wondering, the titles of their full/mini-albums are basically arranged in alphabetical order.
This song is my all-time favorite song by my all-time favorite band for many reasons. The solo run is amazing, a triple solo because the bass is so involved. Miyako & Midori are my favorite dual leads ever, and Fami slides in and does her rhythm section thing being in lockstep with Haruna, yet, she also joins in with M&M. Lovebites are the riff masters in metal. Great reaction.

<From an interview with Asami-san in a music magazine project> The remaining members overcame many difficulties from the hiatus to the release of the album "⚖️JUDGEMENT DAY". LOVEBITES never compromises on their initial beliefs. This is the title song of the album, which expresses their desire for everyone to judge that "what we have been doing up until now has not been wrong" and "we are making real metal music" through the album that they released after overcoming the hurdles they set for themselves. We also asked ourselves, "Is this right?" "Even if you overcome evil, you will repeat it again" "Even if you overcome difficulties, you will be given new challenges" (End) In the video, Asami is chased by something and crawls on the ground, enduring it, when she sees a ray of light, she holds up her sword of justice to the sky, stands up, is "⚖️judged", and overcomes it, but new difficulties arise and she is chased again, which I think expresses the infinite loop.🤔🤗

"Winds of Transylvania" is a song they created as the opening theme song for the anime titled Vladlove, which is a comedy/story based around Vampires. It is probably their wildest song and the music video contains clips from the anime itself. That's probably as close as you'll get to another "fantasy" music video from Lovebites. ua-cam.com/video/HsE4Ub_Pjh8/v-deo.html
If you want personal MV from Lovebites than you have the "Stand and deliver" video, its fun, in particular when you know the girls a bit. You also have all the live studio videos from "The Abyss", their rehearsal studio.
They don't have a regular fantasy theme going on, if that is what you want to know; there are other Japanese bands who do that (Galneryus, Unlucky Morpheus), but Lovebites are not really a fantasy-themed band, with one or two exceptions. However: this song is not one of those. Since, as another commenter mentioned, fantasy is a standard part of metal, Asami the singer/lyricist does use a fantasy story as a metaphor in this song, but it is being used to send a message. When you've read some Lovebites lyrics, you'll see that many of Asami's lyrics are about overcoming depression and darkness within yourself, face your daily challenges and make the best of yourself. The video is an extended metaphor on that theme: we all have light and dark parts (the band members show up dressed in white and in black); you should not run from the darkness but fight it (Asami grabs the sword after first running away); you must not enshrine your darkness like in a picture frame and put it up like beside your bed and dwell on it, but instead you must smash that picture of your dark side. "Judgement Day" means a struggle within yourself. Don't try to read too much into the lyrics of "Holy War", they're just a bit of glorious nonsense that is supposed to sound metal. Someone mentioned Glory To The World and Winds Of Transylvania. Glory To The World follows roughly the same theme as Judgement Day: overcoming darkness; only in this case, the darkness was the pandemic, and the song uses some metaphors borrowed from Christianity. Winds of Transylvania does qualify as a pure fantasy-themed song, but it is a collab with an anime studio (their only one to date) who asked them to write a title track for a vampire comedy. Clips from that are in the video. Then there's M.D.O., which is about another anime, but is mainly a thrashing song to get the audience going. Most of their lyrics are either about overcoming darkness or breaking walls within yourself, or anthems about rock'n'roll and their fans, or piss-off songs to former lovers, or songs about classical composers (they have a song about Beethoven going deaf, for example, Dystopia Symphony). They have at least one song about Hiroshima (The Apocalypse).
Here are some MV that are kind of fantasy * Glory to the world - kind of religious vibes - to be brave in covid times * When destinies align - samurai warriors * Winds of Transylvania - I think this is for an anime
Soul Defender , Set the World on Fire , Swan Song , The Crusade , Nameless Warrior , The Apocalypse , Wicked Witch , SPELLBOUND & Pledge of the Saviour
For Christians, Jews, and Muslims around the world, "Judgment Day" may be an image of the "final judgment" that will come only once when the world comes to an end. However, the theme of this song is probably different. I think it is an image of the courage to make the right judgment in the everyday conflict between "goodwill" and "badwill" that we experience many times in our lives. The outro of this song shows the "repetition" that leads to the intro. It shows the "judgment that we experience repeatedly while we are alive. (In that sense, this may be a way of thinking that is close to Buddhist values) There are other songs by LOVEBITES that have religious images (for example, GLORY TO THE WORLD, THE CRUSADE, HOLY WAR, etc.). However, although some people seem to misunderstand, it should be understood that LOVEBITES is a band that has almost no religious background. For them, religious images are a world that expresses "fantasy". ---------- from Nippon *Text using Google Translate. I hope that the intention is conveyed correctly.

Hi from France: In Japan, "Judgement day" does not correspond to the Christian "Last Judgment", this moment when you give an account before leaving for the Beyond, but rather this day when you decide what you are going to do with your life: either you become (remain?) bad, or you make the decision to do what is necessary for your future... It is a moment of choice and beginning, and not that of the end of life... The connotation is rather positive...
