Never cried at a metal show, until I saw crowbar for the first time. Then I got to meet kirk afterwards and got a handshake and a tshirt. Best night ever
How do Crowbar do it?So heavy but the emotion and melody is always captured in waves.Kirk is one hell of a composer and Broken Glass is an absolute masterpiece.
There is a reason Crowbar has been my favorite band for many years. No lack of raw emotion and some of the best riffs in heavy metal. Severely underrated band. I went to see them live in Oakland last year. Barely any people there but they played like their lives depended on it. My neck hurt for a week after that show.
i waited it seemed forever for this album to come out. metal maniacs had pre-ads for this for what seemed 10 months in advance. i have only the same to put forward here as what it seems everyone else.. kirk is extremely approachable, he's let me corner him a number of times. excellent human being. a couple of those times, due to my lacking age and life experience, it seemed like some burning bush shit hhaha kirk rules. i love that its downer music but its for everyone and they exclude no one.
Thanks a lot. This is my favorite crowbar song. Heavy and it is full of pain! Nowadays famous heavy bands like gojira never gonna reach this level of sound.
Old Gojira was heavy as fuck. Lots of emotion to. But ya, they are like a mouse in the presence of a lion. Crowbar slays pretty much any band in the emotion/heaviness Dept. The band Yob is a close second.
@@bladeer Pallbearer hits that spot pretty good too, but definitely check out Warning - Watching From A Distance album. For Crowbar, Nothing is the saddest imo, but I Have Failed is pretty much a bottomless pit. Enjoy!
Time Heals Nothing came out in '95.. I remember that because it released at the end of my senior year of High School. Broken Glass (with the song played in this video) came out a year later in '96, and it was the only album it's been on. Lifesblood for the Downtrodden is the album that was released around 2005.
That's one lucky crowd witnessing this. My favorite Crowbar song. What a great live band
LL kkkkkkkkk no

Fuck man the vocals are spot on. He's a fuckin powerhouse....sooo good
There is so much pain in this song. It pulls me in every time. I can't think of anything else in my life that i relate to more...
Nathaniel Ferdman great tune..
Nathaniel Ferdman majority of early crowbar is about pain and suffering that kirk had faced. I relate to it a lot too.
Yea man. I feel it. Love how Kirk calls it his fav song too.

Imagine I saw them in 2000 playing with Eyehategod !
Best song on the album 🤟
This is real metal seriously heartfelt.

@@thedude8526 thanks I will check out that band!
If you ever get out of a long relationship.. play this song and let the tears roll
Damn the vocals are something …
Saw Crowbar play live last week and lucky enough to meet Kirk. True legend. So many classic tracks.
I had a beer with him......such a cool guy
It's weird seeing Kirk without a beard lol
... if i survive long enough to come back, won't you forgive me for falling ... IN YOUR ARMS?! 💔
What a great performance
The riffs on this album kicked balls
I am obsessed with this song!!!!!
favorite crowbar song
DAMN..THE VOX ARE SPOT ON..man...
this is all i need right now
Oh my god.. so fucking amazing
The world needs more Emotional Doom. I'd also put Warning and Woods of Ypres (later stuff) in that category.
need a full list of emotional doom
what’s the saddest crowbar song?

@@bladeer Through a Wall of Tears and Time heals nothing are bleak too. Actually that whole album is just depressing
amazing live! thanks a lot for uploading!!
On a scale of 1 - 10 this is certainly heavy enough!
Been there done that truly a chapter perhaps in all our lives 🤘
The other guitarist is Jay Abbene, formerly of Wrathchild America and Souls at Zero,
so Matt had already left by that time? He recorded Broken Glass, as far as I know
Goddamn!
It's a damn good song
It's my all time Crowbar Favorite, and I been a heavy weight since their first Album.
I do an acoustic version of this one. Well...I do my best.
Thanks for the tab man..
I KNOW THE WAY YOU FEEEEEEL
Just noticed It, Kirk is kind of a Doug Heffernan lookalike here.
Doug & Carrie,
Doug & Carrie,

ARTHUR ARTHUR ARTHUR ARTHUR!!!
Sludge/Doom/Groove
Can someone clarify? I thought the album (Broken Glass) with this song came out in 2005-2006. Was it on any of the earlier albums?
Nope! 95 was the year if I remember right

For some reason Spotify says it's from 2006
