Wow. This popped up on my suggested videos and I’m appalled by the stark contrast of today. Whoever disagrees that we’ve gone backwards as a society needs to watch this video. So sad. I wish the world was what it once used to be in those decades! I wasn’t around, but I’d surely love to be there.

1:45 the guy brought skis. I remember in 1971, my afghan parents took me to Chowk Arghandeh, the Ski resort closed to Kabul. I fell 5000 times and I hated it. 30 years later I learned snowboarding in Mammoth, CA and i still do it at 55. Love Afghanistan!!!!

I was also so afraid of needles. That kid in 1:05 is probably as afraid as I was from the a piece of steel penetrating your body, BUT: You never show a lady ( foreigner at that) how scared you are. :))))))
