우선 이 곡을 선택한 이유는 공허함, 절망감, 그리움, 이 세 주제에 가장 잘 어울리는 곡을 찾다가 파티가 끝났을 때의 공허함이 큰 무대에 오른 후 그것을 그리워하며 집으로 돌아왔을 때의 외로움과 같은 감정이라고 생각했기 때문입니다.
최대한 감정을 표현하려 노력했고, 전달이 되었길 바랍니다.

though he went through it all, harder than most of people , he stayed up all night practicing to prove that he's more than just a visual, he practiced rapping with a pen in his mouth because he was told his pronunciation isn't clear enough
now look how far he came in just 2 years, he's a dancer who can beautifully make a dance that shows his pure emotions, he can rap with different styles and pull them off, he started live series where he reads fan mails about fans rough situations in their life and the hardship we go throgh, he tries to give us hope and solution and apologises that he can't be beside us, he's even learning english to be able to answer to every one
he has a cheerful, funny and supportive personality who doesn't show the hardship he's going throgh,thogh he cried at the concert becouse he thought he's not enough and promised us to work even harder to make a stray kids that we're not ashamed of.
but we're the most proud that we're stanning a group like stray kids, a group who refused being made and controlled by their company and made their group by themselves at such a young age, true and dedicated to their music. behinde every beat and every lyrics is their own thoghts and emotions, they have large variety of music with deep meanings all written and produced by themselves , they're gainig fans slowly but surely, we're ganna stand beside them forever because they mske us STAY .

he said back then that he didn't know how to express his feelings through words that's why he created this master piece.........but now for us to only see that ....he has written so many songs on his own that they top in our playlists..the recent ✨Quill pen✨ is a best example of that..just a pure piece of Art🌍🌍
hyunjin didn’t decide to choreograph to this song after discovering it, he specifically chose this song bc he was looking for a song to best represent the feeling of “emptiness, despair, and longing.”
hyunjin said that the emptiness that is often felt “when the party’s over”, was much like the loneliness felt when the concert’s over. this reminds me of their usa tour when hyunjin said during his ment that he wanted to “live on this stage”.
hyunjin stated that he choreographed this while thinking abt the darkest times of his life. everyone goes through hard times in life, and hyunjin was able to express his hardships through what he loves the most.
edit: nobody has called hyunjin just a pretty face except for a couple random trainees from before hyunjin even debuted. he’s never mentioned it except for in passing during one 2 kids room episode. he is literally known for his ridiculous amounts of talent so stays should stop taking what he said and blowing it out of proportion

the fact that hyunjin made this choreography to describe the emptiness he felt when he was not dancing and performing on stage is heartbreaking bcz thats most likely how he feels right now. you can also clearly see that through this whole performance. honestly, im so proud of him, i always get teary when i watch this and its been a year now, remembering how much he had to struggle to be where he is now. it wasnt easy for him but he made it and thats what makes me so proud of him. knowing that hyunjin cant be on stage now must be so hard for him, just like it is for us but i sincerly hope he is doing fine. although i know he has the members with him that are willing to support him no matter what, i hope he is doing just fine and i hope he knows that we are here, waiting for him to come back when he is completely ready to.

I've watched this several times already and I haven't gotten tired of watching Hyunjin dance. It's as my grand daughter said "dance is an expression of one's self" which is exactly what you would see with Hyunjin.
This hits even harder knowing he would practice till late at night with no music in the dark and dancing drenched in sweat the amount of effort and love he has will always amaze me.

He used to be told he didn't need to try bc of his handsome face he was pretty much guaranteed a debut, but he wanted to prove he was more than that and he is more than that. He is such a powerful dancer and has so much talent and he always works hard to be his best. Those people should see that and see he is so much more than a pretty face and is so skilled. This is why Hyunjin is one of my top 3 dancers in the industry. He's able to portray his emotions into the song so effortlessly. He's so graceful and smooth, it's like the way he freestyles but a lot more. Literal definition of beauty in dance. When I saw the title before even clicking the video, I saw it was a Billie Eilish song. That's when I knew to expect a lot because there are a lot of emotions and rare beats used in her songs. Hyunjin knows how to follow those beats and show the emotions so well. Honestly such a beautiful dancer at a young age. This is hands down my favorite choreo from him.

Ok so this is Hyunjin’s comment:
I thought about the time when it was the hardest. I used the three emotions emptiness, despair, and yearning to find the song that best suited the emotions and found when the party’s over. I could relate to when after a big stage, I felt empty and lonely inside, left yearning for it when I returned home. I thought that this song conveyed the emotions that I wanted to show. I tried my best to put these emotions into the dance and I hope it showed through to the audience.

I commented it so maybe Hyunjin would see it, not because i wanted him to notice me but because i want him to notice himself and i want the haters and fakes to notice him for who he is, not just looks. Hyunjin is such a phenomenal dancer. Like Idk how to say this but wow. He has so much grace and fluidity, but the same time he has power and so much control over his body and movements. At 1:41, the way he hits every beat. And the way his eyes look dead. Not every dancer realises that facial expressions are just as important as body movements and that's what makes Hyunjin so good at what he is doing. At 2:16, the flip was slow so it shows he had 100% control over body and believe me that part makes me breathless. Hyunjin as a dancer is the best part of him
