Double doubles are a dime a dozen that doesn't mean that AR isn't play great ball and the consecutive double doubles are not amazing but much much much easier to do than getting a triple double. Personally im a fan of both. I don't understand this thing some people think that you gotta like either Clark or Reese. I like both players and they are both the #1 reason why im now watching the wnba. Now. Angel Reese didn't just have 10 rebounds, she also scored 27 pts on 62 percent shooting. CC had a triple double obviously she had the better game. A triple double is a triple double. IMO the ROTY race isn't over yet, its just really close with both rookies have now broken a wnba rookie record. We just gotta continue to watch and see.

Pros- Clark has averaged 16.1 points, 7.4 assists, 6.0 rebounds and 1.4 steals a game. Not bad- She has shot 39.3% from the floor and 33.1% from 3-point range. Cons- She has 5.5 turnovers a game- a league record at this pace.
Pros- Reese has averaged 13.9 points and 11.7 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.4 steals a game. Cons- She has shot 41% from the floor mostly under the basket, and she has the worst true shooting % of any big in the WNBA this season, possibly in league history.
I'm a CC fan, but have to say despite these glaring cons, both are more than worthy of ROY.

Clark had 19 Pts, and 13 ASTs at a minimum would be 26 PTS, or at least 45 points of the 83 scored or 54% of the Fevers scoring and that should be the ROTY stat that wins her the ROTY Award
Run these numbers for all of her Games, and do the same for Reese and see where the numbers land, my bet is on Clark.
1) Caitlin Clark makes WNBA history with the first-ever rookie triple-double (if not for her coach it might have 3 more), and currently, there are just four in its 28th season
2) Clark became the fastest WNBA rookie to record 100 assists since Sue Bird in 2002.
3) In addition, Clark became the fastest player in league history to reach 250 points and 100 assists.
Cc is definitely the rookie of the year.

I think they qualify my statement that we could hold off on the RotY talk until the playoffs start for 2 reasons.
1. These women are incredible athletes and competitors. In the coming weeks and months after the Olympic break AR will 10 or 12 more games that might put her in the lead and so will CC.
2. Seeing them beat the Liberty I think the Fever actually will make they playoffs. If they do we can go ahead and give AR the RotY(unless Kate Martin deserves it by then😉)and take CC out of that discussion and put her in the running for MVP!

CC got a triple dub which is great and a historic thing for a rook but her shooting was terrible 7-17 from the field 3-12 from 3 is bad, while AR who sat 98% of the 3rd quarter ended up with 27 10 while shooting 8/13 and hitting 2 3's. Not to mention ice the game with 4 clutch FT's against a top team on their home court. Regardless they both got the dub for their team but if stats where reversed the media for find some way to discredit it but since cc did it we gonna glorify it. Never watched WNBA in my life, till now. Everytime I see a Fever game, it's against a team I've never even heard of or players I've never heard of, for the most part. Everybody heard of a couple.

Even though she has the right, in my opinion, to defend herself against the hate she's gotten on and off the court, she instead answers all that with her play on the court and focus on just doing her job as a rookie baller. Angel Reese and others are just running their mouths. Those things are not just about sports. You get that, I'm sure.
