I like to use strike zone 2 so I can see the foot get down.
What is the pci penalty? Also, so should I refer to the hitters front leg to time up pitches? Or should I only use players that get their front foot down early?
Corbin carrol has the worst stride along with luis robert jr and mike piazza
Is it just visually challenging for the player or does it affect the outcome of a hit that would otherwise not be a hit?
A bro I switched to analog stride and let me tell you ive been on time with my swing …its an underrated setting
I thought about explaining that setting but I think it can be difficult for the average person to get used to

I wish there was a way we could look up the leg kick. Its weird because mantle and chipper are far and away my best two hitters online. Yet they don’t have the greatest leg kicks or inconsistent ones. I’ve only used Stan the man during a br run but he dominated for me. So does that mean I’m not looking at the stride and just getting lucky with the timing or am I missing something?
Chipper has a toe tap. I feel like his is almost the same every time.
Stan is amazing
I’m guessing it’s because I’m still on a PS4, but I can’t play with Elly De La Cruz. The frames are super glitchy and hard to tell where everything is.

I had to sell Mickey mantle. everyone talks about how he is the best card in the game but I just could not hit with him. It’s unbelievable how good I am with Kyle Schwarber I might have to wild card him in season 4.
I fucking blow with Mickey. And after watching this video i think he might be the only player in my team with a messed up load animation. Funnily enough I accidentally locked Mantle in so ive been forcing myself to use him. My top 3 batters this year and years past are always Chipper, Trea, and Babe and its by a large margin. Can't wait to get them all back in the same team 😢.
My best hitters are .. Joc Pederson, Bryce Harper, Chipper Jones, Derek Jeter, Josh Donaldson, and Wander Franco is prolly my best pure hitter. Is there a similarity to these 6 players i named off
All of those players get their foot down early except for Jeter. His is the latest out of all of those guys.

How does the no doubt animation help the swing thats after they hit the ball correct?
Not necessarily, have you ever hit a homeun that wasnt perfect? Pci not in the ball? Half of that is on the pitcher feedback. The game is coded to when a pitcher throws a pitch with bad input its more likely to trigger a no doubt animation. Ketel Marte has a one handed swing, when he hits a no doubter, its a two handed swing. Mid swing, a subtle noticeable difference in the animations. All of that happens before I swing and as I press X.

They both have the inconsistent stride (Musial and Carroll). Corbin Carroll has it and Yoshida does not. Even though they have like the same swing
@@CollegeLeftyGamingI’ve heard of this being referred as “tempo striding” I try to avoid players who do this because when they go into the slow mo stride im almost never on time.
@@Bhowell21 I have never heard that term before, probably used by another content creator im not sure. But yeah it has been in the game for a few years
@@CollegeLeftyGaming yeah I started noticing it in ‘21 and have tried to stay away from it since. And I think OhChev and Rebel have called it that before but it makes sense. If the player has the slow stride they only do it on offspeed pitches that are meant to change a batters tempo.

Its odd that after all these years MLB the show still hasn't changed the generic strides, at least add a toe tap. They default strides look so herky jerky
