Dont have wifi yet, just moved so cant listen well to tutorial. Nothing works. Clocl set but hitting start does nothing. Please tell me how to use burners

The preheat alarm light flashes 5 times when the oven reaches the set temperature, BUT THAT'S ALL. IF THE USER TURNS AWAY FOR A MOMENT AND THE PREHEAT FLASHES OCCUR, HAVE THEY MISSED IT AND NOW HAVE NO WAY TO KNOW WHETHER THE SET TEMPERATURE HAS BEEN REACHED? RIDICULOUS!
