I concur....someone rolled up with an R4 Galan and Sersi in BGs and Spidey Supreme roasted both in 43 seconds and 45 seconds....took him to r4 today so it's about to be on like Donkey Kong

Would love if you did this with Abs man, Im playing around with him and run path 9 in war. still not feeling overly confident with the rotations. I stink at light intercepts so ive been heavy wif then light hit countering to pause his state.

TLDR Rotation
- (Skip this step if they don’t gain a lot of buffs) Land a Heavy attack to activate the Blessing of The Web, and with this Blessing Active, Launch your SP1 to place the Curse of The Web on the opponent.
- Build to 20 Totem Charges with your mediums and intercepts to Activate The Blessing Of The Spider Totem (Orange Blessing)
- Throw as many SP2s with this buff Active.

Getting just before and a little after the 3 minute mark, seeing all the buffs he copies, as genuinely excited as I am to start using him in Battlegrounds, I can't help but feel a little jilted as a former Morningstar disciple haha.
Good thing, they both have a solid synergy together. It’s Spidey’s best synergy for himself and she gets a nice benefit too.

You strongly recommend 5/5 MD. I’ve only opened 4/5, does that last point make that much difference?
It won't make a huge difference overall, but you're missing out on free damage with him without that final point
How bad is he vs champs without listed buffs (fury, cruelty etc)? Since he doesn't gain power from MD or nullify them (i believe)
He still gains power from MD, he just doesn’t gain power when nullifying Spider-Seals.
He feels good against champs without those buffs too, there’s the fight vs Deadpool in this video you can see.
Can he be used/worth using on spiderhero challenge for EOP?

I wonder... the dupe increase the potency of copied buffs by 50%, but... by 50% does it mean 50% of the existing potency of the buffs which is 20%, so 20% and a half (50%) for 30% potency buffs, or is this a flat more 50% which means the buff become greatly stronger and have 20%+50% potency so 70%?
I’m pretty sure it’s 20+50, but I can check with the designer.

It's just, I find the sig pretty meh but whether it's more flat 50% or it is 20% plus 50% of it, will really decide if the sig is trash or great.
And I'm thinking to r4 Spider supreme... he's so cool so fun can cheese some things... but I'm worried he won't have a value on defense like aw

but Spider Supreme seems complicated.
I feel like Doom with his Doom cycle might be a bit more stressful to learn than Spidey Supreme. Spidey has way more nuance, but is super flexible once you learn how to use him.
Here’s my TLDR on Spidey.
Blessing of the Spider Totem is your damage phase. You need to ramp up 20 Totem charges to activate it.
Ways to gain Totem Charges
-When the Opponent Gains any buff
-When you place a buff on then with your medium or SP1
-You gain more charges when intercepting in Astral Form
Once the Spider Totem Blessing is Activated, your first Medium and your SP2 Nullify the Spider Buffs you were placing, and they deal damage for each point of Mystic Dispersion you have active. (You really want 5/5 MD with him)
What I wrote above is all you need to know to get started and doing damage with him. I suggest playing him against Realm Of Legends Winter Solider and trying to get this initial rotation down before trying to dive deeper into his kit.
If you want to know more…
Your Heavy attack gives you Blessing Of The Web, while that’s active, you gain a matching buff when the opponent gains a buff. If they gain Fury, you gain Fury. So on and so forth. The buffs Spidey can mirror are Fury, Precision, Cruelty, Armor, Pierce, Regen.
Once you’re comfortable with his kit, you can start weaving in Heavy Attacks to gain this benefit, so if you go against someone with a lot of buffs, you will gain your own versions of them if they’re eligible buffs. It’ll increase your damage a lot in some matches.
I suggest getting some practice in with him and then coming back, if you still have issues, I can try to help some more. Maybe hop in a Discord call and I can walk through each step with him.
My goal with this video I made was to make him more accessible and if you still don’t understand him, I didn’t do a great job. And don’t worry about stressing me, my favorite part of UA-cam is teaching others.
