Ma'am if any hypothesis is stated negatively then it would be the directional hypothesis or null hypothesis?
It’s a null hypothesis because if a study is giving positive result it means you are claiming that it will no effect. Already the previous researcher reject null hypothesis

It's important when we write hypothesis dependent variable write in first than later independent variable.
Example study of job satisfaction among teachers in relation to their organisational climate
Please check and reply
Both are important independent and dependent variable.
But in hypothesis we only write is there is difference or there is no difference.
In above example we see either organisational climate give job satisfaction or not.
Ho= their is no difference
H1= their is difference

If you have one hypothesis it will be called as Hypothesis
And if you have two or more then it will called as Hypotheses....
It is a matter of singlular and plural
