I totally agree with you. I love the song, but the video is so vanilla that it's disappointing cuz we know the caliber of music videos that Katy can make. I do think it was rushed because it seems like they were really banking on Woman's World performing like Roar. I think they thought it was going to take off as a big women's empowerment anthem, but the backlash was too much. Honestly, this era is very reminiscent of Kim Petras' last album. People were really let down when she teased the verse of Alone (feat. Nicki Minaj). They weren't expecting the verses to be so trappy similar to how people weren't expecting the verses on Woman's World to sound (according to them) so Ai-ish. But idc what they say about Ms. Katy Perry. I'd also jump off a bridge for her lmao. This era is sooo much better than Smile imo.
