Jimmy Unloads On Opie
Вставка
- Опубліковано 4 жов 2024
- The guys briefly talk about their weekend, which leads to mocking Opie, then transitions to Jimmy firing back about his tweet at 7:07. After claiming he won't unload on Opie he ends up doing just that. He details the reasons why Opie is bitter and how he pretends it's never his fault because he's insecure. Jimmy and Anthony are still friends with everyone while Opie is not. Why is that? He also points how what a hypocrite he is. In short... Opie is still losing. (8-7-18)
I discovered O & A after it imploded. I have been scouring UA-cam for their clips like some sort of weird anthropologist.

Jim’s analogy about the musical instruments hit the nail right on the head perfectly….

Opie shushing Patrice is the worst moment in radio history
When Patrice was screaming at prime Louis CK about the Illuminati? Ugh yes, that still triggers me to this day.
Anthony was 90%+ of that show.

And Louis CK.
I think Ant Patrice and Jimmy are all 30%
Bill burr is the other 10 lol
Ant’s impressions, quips and contagious laugh always throw me off my rocker.
Anthony sucked. It was all about the guests and Norton
If you watched Opies podcast without knowing who he was, you would think it was a retired insurance salesman doing a hobby, just recording mundane conversations in local pubs. He has no evidence of starring in a massively successful radio show for two decades

Opie's career has to be on it's final death rattle. His podcast uploads... 2 days ago, 167 views.
I’m here from the future to tell you, RIP to the captain, 18 years of radio steering the ship- it was a great ride, but Opie is no longer sailing the seas of radio. He’s somewhere on the beach rubbing lotion on his moobs.
Opie loved getting into radio beefs when he had Anthony and Jimmy to respond for him . Funny how he didn’t do that when he was on his own . He’s the cringest guy in radio history .... ahead of scorch
Scorch RULZ!!!
He loved taking credit for speaking about topics in a unique way, yet he almost never had any genuine input to the deep or funny conversations. He displayed zero ability to just shoot the shit or be philosophical about any given topic.
Patrice asked Opie if he would die for his girl. His response was abysmal, and really summed up his douche chill behavior.
good point
NAKED MILITIA
Scorch is at least genuine in his insanity and can make you laugh.
Sam killed my love of current radio😥 can’t listen for more then 5 minutes of him. Solid role player but definitely not a starter.
38:45 Extremely smart and relatable observation by Jim. I know exactly this type of relationship, to the tee, and I’ve never heard it so simply described. This is my childhood best friend. I can’t stand the guy in general. But there’s deep history, and occasionally the stars would align-my mood, his mood, the environment, where we each were in life-where I’d have these occasional amazing nights with him and feel a very deep and even loving friendship. The problem comes when these nights come at the cost of constant infuriating bullshit. 95% of the time when I have a thought about him it’s negative. Gotta sever that.
Make this a tshirt.
Because you like "those moments" so much and you're deprived of it for so long. They're not as good as a person makes them out to be in reality.
It's a psychological aspect to it. The longer you're deprived of it, the more you enjoy it WHEN it finally comes back around for a bit. Problem is, the wait time gets longer and longer and it last shorter and shorter to where it's not even worth the wait anymore.
Time and history can make it hard to just sever that friendship or relationship for that matter. Lots of investments both time energy and sometimes money. Hate to just lose all that and see it go as if u never invested anything. It's a sense of a big LOSS and folks will try to ride it out as long as possible IN HOPES of it correcting itself. 😕
@Azlorn Magus you have no money to bet Brooke. 👊🤣
@Azlorn Magus did you shmack ya head on the derp machine and went full Derka Derka mode 👊😆
