One thing they didnt really touch on is that unless you are a top level rider, the difference between a honda and a ktm spec wise makes no difference. I have a 2021 and loved it right from the factory. I bought a set of Yoshi's for mine as I just wanted to bling it out a bit and they sound amazing. I will say the exhaust did give it a lot more bottom to mid though. Great bike overall. I am a long time Suzuki guy but as I am getting older and more out of shape to hit it hard at the track, I wanted something new with electric start and all the plush comforts. Suzuki is way behind the rest of the field so I decided to try out a Honda. When I want to get beat up, I bust out my 2002 RM250 and let er rip. Big difference between the two and I much prefer the honda now. Probably setting up the RM for dunes when the weather gets a bit better.
you're probably thinking of the 450, not the 250. Most 250's are what would be considered entry level even though i'd rank 250 kind of in the middle not quite entry level but the next bike to get after your first bike
@@jacksonmortenson5096 read my comment again...I said I don't think it's entry level. Well not dirt bikes anyway, if it was a road bike then 250-300cc would be entry level but not with dirt bikes
Hey Jeremy, we (MXA) asked Honda to give us new plastic to make it look good again for the video and they accidentally sent us 2019 plastic instead... The 2020 and 2021 bikes, plastics and graphics are identical, and we made a mistake by not realizing that they sent us the plastic with 2019 graphics.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe the bike in the video is a 2019. Those graphics were last seen on the 2019 model, whereas the 2020 and 2021 model have different graphics.
HiserBros, I also found that the other motocross magazines haven’t uploaded their 2021 CRF250R videos yet. That means that Motocross Action Magazine used an older CRF250R so that they could have the first “2021” CRF250R video on UA-cam. Usually, all the magazines can only upload their videos on a specific bike after an embargo has been lifted. Since the embargo has not been lifted yet, they can’t show the 2021 model on UA-cam (which is why the other magazines don’t have their 2021 CRF250R videos uploaded). It’s sad that Motocross Action Magazine had to lie about the bike their reviewing just to release a video before their competitors.
I completely agree with you. At least the 2020 is the exact same bike as the ‘21, so it wouldn’t be an issue. The problem is that the 2019 model is completely different to the 2020/2021, so I wonder if the opinions of the rider in this video were based on the completely different 2019 bike instead of the 2020/2021?
