Just about to embark on this exact project for my '75 911S. Thank you for such a detailed and honest video of the struggles and techniques for this scope of work. Awesome video

Great video I have a 1974, 911 also, and I need to rebuild my front and rear suspension. But one thing I was wondering is I wish you would’ve shown what a person needs to do to preserve the inside of our steering rack and what can be done to rebuild that. would it work to put new Molly grease on the inside of the steering rack and on the shaft?

Hi, quick question. Any tips on getting a stuck torsion bar out? It seems to be bent inside the A arm, and frozen with rust. I’ve heated it, drilled a hole in the dust cap, soaked with penetrating oil, then tried to drive it out with a drift and air hammer. Any tricks or advice would be super helpful. Thanks!!

Pull the A arm off the car. You might have enough bushing droop that the torsion bar is binding.
