45-19 at 280 mesh if your doing automatic 305 mesh 45-110 frequency. for manual screen printing and each pass have good pressure clear your screen good every print with one pass only thats how i print but you got it its ok we all learn.
Easy to follow CMYK separations process! Question on your frequency/angle settings, how did you determine those frequencies for each color? I recall seeing another video where someone determines the screen mesh and divides that mesh number by 5 and that's the frequency they choose... ? Great video!
I read an article on the internet and used the values they suggested. I will change the angles and try printing the same image to see what difference that makes. I think the formula you are referring is the LPI formula to determine mesh count.
Why wet on wet? Would using the heat gun between colors affect the results? Wondering if wet on wet causes ink transfer among your screens. Thanks. Very helpful video!
GREETINGS CONGRATULATIONS THANKS TO YOUR CHANNEL I HAVE LEARNED A LOT WITH YOUR CLASSES BUT I HAVE A HUGE DOUBT. WITHIN 2 WEEKS THE RILEY HOPKINS 250 6X4 ARRIVES AT MY BUSINESS, I HAVE ASKED RYONET MANY TIMES ABOUT ITS DIAMETER BUT I HAVE DOUBTS ABOUT THE AREA THAT IT WILL OCCUPY. WOULD YOU HELP ME SAY WHEN IT MEASURES IN MACHINE DIAMETER? FULLY ARMED READY TO WORK ALL 6 COLORS. THANK YOU VERY FRIENDLY.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR PROMPT RESPONSE .. THAT IS THE MEASURE OF THE 6X4 OR IS AN APPROXIMATE SINCE MY ROOM FOR HIM IS APPROXIMATELY 12401.57 INCHES X 10748.03 INCHES
It is an approximation. I have the 4 color 1 station but the base structure of the 6x4 is similar. The dimension I gave you includes the two pallet from end to end and the carrousel.
It all depends on your needs. For me it is enough for my operations. If you want to do process color separation, or if you have a high volume of order, you probably want to get a 6 color 4 station press, at least. If you are starting out and order volume is not a concern as well as the need of more than 4 colors then this press is great for you. I’ve been using the 4 color 1 station for about 8 months now and it has worked great. I mainly do 3 color designs max.
Hi, I have the Riley Hopkins 250 4 colors one station and did it. The only limitation you will have if you have a press with 4 colors is the ability to do an under base if you want to print on dark garment.
great video not only for people that want to learn the process but also are interested in experimenting with their own. thank you very much sir.
More videos, please. Your content is excellent. Thank you.

On 305 mesh you can easily make 40 frequency. 15 is a little bit to low.
O lee chit man..... That was a really good tutorial. This was your 1st time printing CMYK?. Subscribed!! 5 stars!

Had similar question too, round shouldn't have an angle
Happy Journeys

@@pasadenascreenprinting303 THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR CONTRIBUTION
@@kimbel1976 you’re welcome!
your frequency should be around 45 for your mesh count or even 50 if you are daring enough. your dots would seem to almost vanish at that size
Are there any limitations with this press? I am debating to pick up the same one.

Good day, you think a CMYK prints can be done on a 150 Riley Hopkins 250 Screen Printing Press.

can i request and get your design file?
i just tried my first cmyk and it turned out like mud.. lol
when curing ink at the end, pull the shirt off and lay it on top to heat gun it. It will help the heat to penetrate deep into the ink.
