My girlfriend has been wanting more goth tops, but can't afford the fancy name brand clothes, so I'm going to attempt to make something like this for her! Thanks for the tutorial!
Angela Benedict the odds were good that it was in the store but damn, you found it right as you said it. that's some witchy shit. i guess i should become more optimistic too haha
For people who are doing this diy DONT LET GO WHEN YOURE WEAVING. 😂 I accidently let go and the whole thing was immediately undone. The leggings I made look super cute though now. 🖤
Such a crazy coincidence, I'm wearing the EXACT same Christian Death shirt AND a black rosary necklace while watching this! I've been wanting to make a shredded top for a while now, so this is really helpful. Thanks
YAAAYYYYY I miss seing your content, I adore this channel and you. You and your channel have inspired me to start and devople a goth teen night in my area, I love the stories of the 90s and clubs. After school I plan on moving to new york, it just seems awesome there anyway. Love you
I'm going to try this with an already existing tshirt that I had no clue how to personalize. It is a band shirt, but the logo is low enough that it can work. Thanks for yet another brilliant idea, love! 💋
I really love this! I always do this sort of stuff on my shirts leggings, etc. Living in Montana that's the only thing to really do to basic black clothing because there are no Goth stores or etc. But I find doing this stuff very therapeutic and pretty after words.
Just finished trying this out and I absolutely love how the shirt came out ~ I Never thought about doing this but I'm glad I came across your video. Thanks for the tutorial! 💙
Love this video. I remember doing this...great memories. Last time I did this was when a Friend and I were doing a bunch of farmers markets and selling our stuff. We were called Hollyweird Kouture. 😊
My absolutely favorite thing to do these days to all of my big clothes, even pants! I learned it from your first tutorial and kind of went nuts! Thanks for all of the help you have given us to let our creativity flow!
This shirt is AMAZING! Before I saw this video I was actually going to buy a plain black long sleeve shirt to wear under my job uniform shirt. I may have to buy two now! Your videos are awesome 😊
Did it on leggings and came out perfect Though if doing in leggings recommend cutting them while you wear them because it’s hard to get good cut placement if not
It'll save the fate of so many things that may have been destined for the trash or thrift store donation. You can get creative with the weaving too once you get the hang of it, it's really fun!
The white eyeliner to mark the T, huh... How have I never thought of that before? Thanks for the tip! The finished T really looks amazing, epecially on you. 🖤
Regular chalk also works to temporarily mark fabric, and comes out very easily in the wash. Also since I hate ironing I bought an inexpensive steamer to get wrinkles out of fabric.
Angela Benedict I know the feeling. I found an adorable pair of black brocade combat boots that told me the same thing, lol. And I'm definitely doing this shirt. Your DIY one looks way better than ones I've seen already made.
You’ve got that “this girl is really hot but actually is a normal person” thing going on in this video. That’s a compliment if it isn’t obvious. Nice technique!
"The seams will be your guide."
That sounded so mystical with the background music.
Are the seams gonna tell me my future?
Ask them.
"Look how this person parked" - LOL I say the same shit everyday here in SoCal!
Bad parking irks me!
Be prepared for the big shake.
My girlfriend has been wanting more goth tops, but can't afford the fancy name brand clothes, so I'm going to attempt to make something like this for her! Thanks for the tutorial!
That's such a sweet gesture!
There’s a thrift store here in the UK where everything is less than £3 ( around 4 dollars) I swear half my wardrobe is from there 😂
what's it called if you dont mind me asking?
Where?!?! I don't have much to spend on clothes so that would be so helpful!!!
Life is short, buy the shoes.
Bought em :)
Yes

"all you have to do is believe, believe it exists and it doe- and it does! here it is" ugh your powerful mind
Believe! Will it into existence...Also the place is huge so the odds were pretty good :)

when you put your leg in the sleeves it look pants legs, I think that style would good on a tight pants legs.
Such a crazy coincidence, I'm wearing the EXACT same Christian Death shirt AND a black rosary necklace while watching this!
I've been wanting to make a shredded top for a while now, so this is really helpful. Thanks

No worries!
I did the same project with my kid and they loved it!
I'm definitely going to do this DIY!
One question, how should I sew down the two snipped ends of the weave?
madeline mehok after you snip, put them through the hole like you're about to tie it but sew the snipped strip closed instead.
Angela Benedict Thank you!
00:10 wow that song is so 2018-2019 brought back weird memories

Finding this video 2 years after posting. Loving this! Getting my long sleeve boring black shirt out to style right now.

Thank you very much!

I love the front of this. I will be charity shop shopping this week in the hopes of finding a top I can do this to. Thank you for the tutorial.
This was super helpful. Been trying to think about what I can do with used clothes that requires no sewing.
Did it on leggings and came out perfect
Though if doing in leggings recommend cutting them while you wear them because it’s hard to get good cut placement if not
