...I'm 13 and i remember watching her in the 2004 olympics... anybody else?
Its nice to finally see choregraphy that actually matches the music!! I LOVE this routine!
replayed over and over and over!! cant get enough of this routine!
she is very good and i really like that music! It is cool because it is intense and fun!
Why is Courtney so amazing at literally everything ever?
She always had very original dance to her routines. Made it fun and interesting to watch.
that was great musicality and good dance with explosive tumbling, stuck landings. very nice
LOVE THIS ROUTINE AND LOVE THE MUSIC!!!! AMAZINGNESSSSS!!! :)
i like how she is having so much fun while doing it especially near the end!
I know it's not the kind of choreography we're used to seeing in gymnastics, but I like that she's at least into the music and having fun. Sometimes at the elite level you see gymnasts that are clearly thinking about something else when they do their dance movements. It's almost like you can see them counting beats in their head. I like how Courtney makes it look effortless.
she is amazing !
that was simply beautiful!!! effortless and flawless!! :D
AMAZING!!!! I LOVE HER!!!! my fave gymnast right there!!
Her tumbling was pretty much spot on, but I didn't like the dance or music.
camera view from above is horrible. the best dancers understand angles and extension and here you can't see that at all
OMG!!! THAT was gorg!! and amazingg
It's hard to comprehend how perfect this is!
I love how there was a stunned silence after her first tumble pass.
wow i love how she was just havin fun and smileing all the way trough
Love this floor routine!!!!!
Amazing!
That was totally freaking awesome to watch O.o
Lol she looked like she was having so damn much fun...
And I actually loved the choreography... She just got her groove on out there.
luv this routine!
Wow, great job!
I like how the cheerleaders were cheering for the GYMNAST!! :)
AHHH!! I JUST LOVE HER!!
i love it
she is sooo good i love u courtney kupets!!!!
great routine, love Courtney, as always she has crazy cool dance.....now the random comment-- i really like those leos!!
anyone know where I could get the floor music for this routine?
nice job!
Music is 3 different tracks grouped together. All I know is the final track track in the routine is from a song called "Rock Raw" by Cantankerous.
I feel like Courtney is the only one who could pull off this choreo...and she sure did.
wow you ran there courtney maneuvers are one of my favorites with Russia's Anna Pavlova ... it hurts but you could not classify what is important is that you get to a site that many women wanted to get ... I congratulate you heart, you're great greetings from Venezuela, Maracaibo.
Gymnastics and mindless music should never go together.
would the hop on her switch leap be a big enough hop to be deductible at 0:33 - 0:35 ?
aMAZING.....
how can i get this floor music please respond!!!
That routine was so much fun
Nice!
I guess this is what they refer to as 'being in the zone.' It doesn't happen too often but when an athlete is able to just 'let it happen' like that, it's a beautiful thing to witness.
Fabuleux Perfection
Quel et le nom de cette musique
Is there any way that i can get her floor music? Becuase i really love it!
you go girl gettin yo groove on!!!
i LOVE it i think she nailed it it definitely deserved a 10 !!
That was what I thought too. If athletes who went to the Olympics couldn't compete NCAA, than Sam Pezsek or Elyse Hopner-Hibbs wouldn't be competing for UCLA right now. Even if they only did qualifiers in the Olympics as writer1709 mentioned. Anyway, thanks for clearing that up. :)
u r really good !!
does anyone know what songs these are?
You rock Courtney!!!!;)
Does anyone know whether her 2nd pass 1.5 to Rudi or 1.5 to front half?
What is that song called when shes doing her second pass?
Can you do that?
Oh wow came upon this vid randomly... glad to see she is still competing, I wasn't sure what happened after 2004. Can someone point me to her website (I assume she has one right?)
music?
whats her floor music called?
awesome original routine. perfection in the passes and dead on landings....and why didnt she compete at elite , national????
She did - she was on the Olympic Team in 2004
I never really watched tthat olympics thanks for the info just incredible
no prob. I only know bc she's from my hometown :)
What's the music?
go girl gettin your groove on!!!!
@QueenieQue I completely agree!
She did awesome!
Can you put the video download link ? Is that a violation? Please do if you can,the music and routine are amazing!
omg got to do homework....... mabey just one more vidio
was this a competition or and audition for a gents club?
@Arcteryx2886 maybe a little but seriously that totally deserved a HUGE score. That was amazing. Could you have done that well enough to get a ten?
What about Sam Peszek or Elyse Hopfner-Hibbs, for instance? They both competed at the 2008 Olympics for different countries and yet, they are competing for UCLA.
IT WAS VERY NICE. Hey, Theredandblack, can you put this music to the people do downloadings?? It's so perfect...
Uhulll \o/
Awesome Court!!!!
what college does she go to?
Art is subjective. What some people believe is art, others do not. Dance is art and it comes in various types.
She did, she was on the 2004 U.S. Olympic team :)
i love this routine!!! for some reason i wanna dance to it............ amazing tumbling!!!
Omg she is perfect ! Elle est vraiment parfaite son mouvement et juste waouuuuuuuuuuu l'énergie qu'elle a c'est juste trop bien
I LOVE the choreography and the music. Im so sick of seeing girls TRYING to look artistic with music that doesnt suit them and the robotic leaps that they just cant pull off. This routine is fun and unique. GO GYMDOGS!!!!
I love Courtney! And maybe this is mean to say, but she seems to be the only elite gymnast that didn't immediately put on, say, thirty pounds after starting college and NCAA gymnastics.
You are right- it is mean and highly unnecessary and inappropriate. Only bullies think to say garbage like this.
@LMA629 I know that. But this isn't elite gymnastics. It's college gymnastics, so the rules are pretty much the same in a lot of areas, but not all!
What? So, does that mean that Bridget Sloan will not be able to compete for Florida next year? :o
Can you please tell me where have you seen/ heard that new rule?
the jump, tumble thingy at 0:45 was cool :P :)
I know what my floor music is gonna be next year!
Why didnt this go viral like the more recent one?
The tumbling was perfect!! Level of difficulty almost as comparable to the olympics. She has the ability to compete in the olympics.
This is why I sometimes prefer college gymnastics over elite. Especially on the floor. Most elite gymnasts don't have this much energy and fun with their routines. If elite gymnasts performed this way, it would be perfection.
that was real good.
ok, thanks for the answer.
can someone please link me to the floor music? I can't find it anywhere
for what? to sue them? hahahah
to use it?
+jose ivan kkkkkkk seu divo
love courtney kupets! she is soo talented. i wish she had changed her mind about going elite for the olympics like alicia sacramone did. she would have done wonderfully in beijing, im sure. she has so much experience behind her belt now! great routine!
Definitely a 10!!!!!
I loved the women in the skirt at the top (black skirt, white blouse) while she was moving along with the music in her own way haha
And this is after not one, but two torn Achilles tendons. Just unbelievable.
she went to the olympics. after that, her and courtney mccool (also on that olympic team) went to georgia together.
I love her routine
I understand that the scoring system is different, I just wanted to say that even though this isn't an Olympic/elite routine, it was still good and that I wish more elite floor exercises looked like this one in terms of dancing/energy/entertainment value. I wish the elite scoring system put a little more emphasis on artistry.
foot adjustment on landing of first tumbling pass, shushunova didnt hit straddle before it went back, slightly twisted splits, big step on pass 3, and idk if i just missed it but she didnt spin? so yeah, extremely good routine, but definitely not a 10.
oh i understand that
I think that was around 9.7
Mika Kaukonen Collegial is not scored like professional, and your not the judge.
Mika Kaukonen I agree with you
Mika Kaukonen why?!?!?
I like how you can see her smiling during the routine.
well damn. she was just dancing and having fun
College competes at a level 10 and their rule book is different which is why you see a lot more dancing and "having fun".
HOLLY SHIT SHES AHHHHHMAZING
@roycewaddy ?!?!?
Sure, she should have got deducted for the landing on the last pass. But NCAA is not super strict with landings..and this is Kupets whose reputation as a sueprstar at this point would have influenced scoring.
