Totally agree I have arthritis in my flicking up finger 😂(from constantly using a Dyson hoover for work) love these videos be great for more longer ones but I think if I’m not wrong I heard them say in a recent short video they work full time while doing these amazing adventures?
@@Collinburns95 that's kinda why I hate these sorta videos, just seems fake. No wonder you get so many people starting and calling quits within the first 100 miles
@@denisbelya3079 I'm with you, but the internet prefers fake positivity and these guys are so legit and wholesome still despite cutting out the inevitable shortcomings they experience. They really grew on me in the longer videos, despite nothing but showing the positives. We should just recognize it for the movie like editing it is but still appreciate what they do and how much they share with the world of their highs
I’m sure what we don’t see is how hard all of that walking hiking can be mentally and physically, but following their dreams and doing something they enjoy I’m sure does bring a lot of happiness too. Better than going to some crap jobs every day.
I can’t think of anything worse than hiking for 4 months but your videos and how cute your relationship is makes me so happy and you’ve become some of my favourite UA-camrs
Awesome trip, real question though, how do you get home? Do you have someone waiting for you at the end of the trail? Do you have to walk to the nearest airport?
@@asadb1990 Pretty inexpensive way to spend four months, compared to a lot of hobbies. The real question is what do they do for work, that they can take four months off to walk across the country!
@@Jesse__H thats my intent. like do they have their own family company. or are their jobs in government or something. yeah the cost of their trip is reasonable enough.
THIS IS AMAZING i cannot wait to follow you through all of your adventures. I love the content you release, it is not just about your hikes, but you include content for things I would never imagine that are so creative. Also, I love how your posts are so positive. I love being to able to live this through you. With time, I am more and more inspired to take a long hike for a period of time, and I have def considered van life. I also appreciate how you guys emphasize the importance of staying present while seeking your goal.
You put down some serious miles. I hope you know how fortunate you both to have each other to do this with. When I was young I thought trips with friend would never end. Now in my 60s I only have my dog, which I am fortunate to have. None of my friends or family want anything to do with backpacking . That looked like a truly magical adventure. Take care
My feet hurt just watching you. It must be love, because that’s a long time to spend together, so it’s great that you found each other. Memories to last a lifetime!
Wow you two are Amazing your dedication and staying so positive in hard situations is so inspiring !! You kept going no matter what obstacles you had blisters sickness & completed your journey!! Congratulations can’t wait to see what’s next stay healthy God Bless
I'm pretty much an introvert, a homebody and not as adventurous as you guys are but following your journey and attitude inspires me to do something just like this in the future while I'm still able. Keep it up!! Cant wait to see more of these!! Xoxo
Terrific video!! Really sweet seeing the details like surprise birthday treats in his shoes, and sleeping in and getting extra water for coffee off the rain on the tent. Really great addition to imagine those little Joy's in the adventures also those elk horns and the swarming bugs, yikes!!! Crazy
Should make a whole adventure into documentary type video. Like process of setting up camp making food walking different places and just edit some of the unnecessary things.
Both of you are so Inspiring. Your journeys are the difference between existence and Living and I love you for it. Simply Beautiful. Thank you for sharing
Love you guys so much. Please do more long forms!!! Also I like how you track mileage, but prolly the biggest question is also around what day oh the hike did you hit that milestone??? As someone who’s never done any hiking venture close to this long, I’d be extremely curious to know the passage of time too! I think that can be a cool future addition to your new videos!
The only question I have is how do you guys deal with ticks and lime disease?? It’s my biggest fear I’m from a rural area and they’re a go stand threat
Man that looks so fulfilling. I cant imagine walking all that tho. You both have willpower of super human proportions. How do you keep pushing wheh you wake up and just cant walk another step? Is there ever a day you spent more than one night in the same camping area to just hang out and recharge? Or is that dangerous? Lol alot of questions i guess about the mental aspect of it. I think that would be hardest.
You two are so inspiring!! I've got a Moto-Camping trip coming up and seeing your videos has me so excited to be out in the wild! Keep it up and safe travels!!!
Wow 😯 guys!!! Talk about an incredible hike! The cows are so cute. Your blisters are also incredible. Most of all love that you look like you’re totally enjoying the adventure! Excited to follow more of your journeys.
This is unbelievable and must be amazing for ones health to walk/hike so much...I wouldn't like being outdoors so much but in a way I'm jealous of you guys...
I love these longer videos, shorts are cool and all but I want to see more of you guys. Your positive attitude even in a challenging environment shows both of your character! 💖 Keep on trekking 🚶♀️🚶♀️⛰️
I'll never have 4.5 months off work to do this but I sure would love to, and to have a better half with you with a great attitude the whole way!! You struck the jack pot in life my friends!!
I really enjoyed this incredible recap of the CDT. I am getting many ideas from alot of videos that i an watching that i will put into my flip flop video on the Appalachian Trail starting 5 March. I have to start taking notes bevause getting too many ideas.
I’d really love if you could get videos of the scenery as you hike. Almost like a go pro on the chest sort of thing? I’m physically incapable of backpacking, but I love getting to see all of this through you guys!
My mind is blown at your journey. Congratulations!!! I have questions: what was the most difficult part of this trek What was the scariest moment of trek What was the funniest moment What was the most amazing/beautiful part Was there anything about your trek prep you would change Any mistakes in the food prep or pickup points?
How do the water caches get there? Like do people hike it, realize there’s no water and take it there for the next hikers? Do the landowners know there’s hikers and put it there?

Someday hopefully! Just hiked mt. Elbert and walked on a mile or so of the trail. Met a guy that was hiking the whole trail. Seems like an amazing experience
How did yall make it through back country without permits or did you guys pre register and have them? Curious me and my girl been thinkin about this for a long time after we finish colorados 14ers.
Y'all are amazing! I loved watching this! The only thing I would say is yes with everyone else for longer videos! I would really love to see even more in depth! Congrats on your trip!
Tip about shoes in the future to prevent blisters Buy all shoes ahead of time and wear all pairs atleast 800 steps before hiking in them. Even better if you spray them very lightly with water and wear them till they dry so they mold to your feet properly before a long hike. It will reduce the wear and tear and damage to feet to break them in before heavy use. Also bringing a small bottle of powder to powder shoes a few times helps prevent blisters and fungus.
"we bumped into tik tokers.." Welp, that's enough to keep me off these trails. On a serious note, what do thru hikers do for a living? How do you find the time and money to do this?
Love this.

What goes into planning something like that, you obviously need some kind of funds, really curious on how much money it’d take
