Saw on the Canyon website, on the saddle info that the maximum rider weight should be 100kg. Is this something that can vary if the saddle is reolaced with another one? I am 120kg and i would consider this as my next xc mtb.
im considering this bike ana grand canyon 8, i know that they are totally different for different ride type but if i want bike for a long day trips 70/30 tarmac/forest which one should i choose, I'm not a pro rider i want a bike to last years
The main decision you need to make is do you want carbon frame or aluminum frame. Grand Canyon 8 is aluminum frame. If you are fine with aluminum frame, then just go for Grand Canyon 8. Personally, I like carbon frames, so for me it is Canyon Exceed. If you heavy crash with carbon frame, there is a big possibility that frame can shatter. With aluminum frame, it's much harder to break it. Also, aluminum frame is much heavier.

It seems to me the best thing is to drop an email to Canyon customer service about it. They are fast to respond.
Does the bike came with the tyres ready for use? I mean tubeless ready
I don't think it is setup tubeless from the factory. Just drop an email to Canyon customer service to double check.
