As Westbrook being the Primary ball handler, he actually knows how to control the course of the Game. Had he done this last year, we wouldn't know how far the lakers would have went. That's why for this game I grade him an A. Great Win for the lakers, and great play by Russ
I think people really exaggerate how bad he was last year.Last year's team was just not good enough defensively.There was a game where him, lebron and as all scored 27+ pts and the only won by 2.This year's team is at least respectable defensively and they are more suited to play at WB pace offensivley.Not to mention they have chemistry now.Last year Ad an Bron missed half the season and couldn't build that chemistry with Russ
That Lakers team last year still would’ve crashed and burned regardless since it was a ridiculously old roster with an outdated coach and system in place.
@@809Mornelle People generaly don't know the game either, coaches rather have a quik point guard snatching those rebounds instead of a slower, less mobile big, Russ can rebound and setup a quik fastbreak with a big already running further up on the floor, when a big knows his PG can rebound like that they can start running before Russ even gets the rebound, making it a quick fluid fastbreak, the bigger players are literaly already waiting for easy buckets when Russ gets those type of rebounds.

If you play like you want to score and cut to the basket Russell will get you points simple man’s needs to be starting while lebron plays off the ball it’s better that way Russ be getting lebron some amazing looks you have to give bron credit also for being him and recognizing the opportunities all this with no AD if they play like this every game with Russ at the head dishing out dimes on the regular plus 20 to go with it that’s scary for anybody
