Their retired Shetland, Little Joe, is 40 years old. Tony the Pony will undoubtedly be there to teach the next generation to ride.

And his primary carer, Clemmie,who was born in of the farmhouse fire
Tony is 100 years old,want's knocking over.
she is an inspiration to all mums, she works constantly hard, she's bringing a young family up with a fantastic work ethic, those kids are so happy.
That pony is so well behaved 😂😍

When they put the kid on his back and all crowded round his head he looked so scared...
this is legit me I was also kind of knowing going into this video I would react like this partially why I clicked on it. I also hated how they treated the pony like a box when they were getting him into the car (which if they expected to be buying a pony should have got a trailer).

To be honest like when I saw that family try and put the Shetland in the car I was discussed but after that bad experience tony had they really do love him and when the little girl has her first lesson I got to say that was cute but just don’t think if you desire to buy a 14 hh horse to put it in the back of a truck 😂😂
I wonder if they would adopt me. I am 55 years old and ready for the knackers yard but I can get in and out of the land rover by myself. I would have a tendency to bite the kids unless they fed me alcohol laced hay.

Went to a Gypsy horse fair in the Cotswolds...never again...

Horses racing every where. Shady characters.Village was locked up tight. ONE pub open which was full of loud drunks...it was an experience..I would not have trusted ANY of them to sell me a reliable horse...and I felt sorry for all of the horses.

£250 is very cheap to buy a pony i payed around 300-500 euros for one But it was a gypsy vanner whit and brown

So why if they bought their kids a gypsy pony they’re great parent Amanda and Clive and they have lovely kids, they’re more than likely bought up better and more polite than many townie whimpy kids, that are knifing each other or glued to their smart phones or other tech. constantly,

How do they go so fast there trained, no darling there horses they naturally go fast it’s what they do.
Theyre trained actually often in quite abusive ways
AS an american, this is the wierdest thing ever to me. Only thing is, if I were that family I'd try to find some sort of step for the ar rather than picking him up.
As an American, I expect most of the outside world is weird to you!
She could have bought two bales of hay to form a step. The bales would fit on the back seat next to one of the girls (or one of the girls could have sat on one of the fold down seats with the horse to keep him calm). Simple! Fortunately the pony was very cooperative and remained calm. Don't know what they'd have done if he'd panicked.

Not too long after they bought the pony....the farm had two farm 4x4s stolen.....OF COURSE THEYRE CONNECTED....guess the ethnicity of the thieves.

I don’t know much about these markets to make a fair and judgmental comment however I am glad this Shetland pony is going to an amasing, kind and caring family. This is all you can hope for! Do know the RSPCA has a vet in attendance over the days the fair is in operation but many cases of cruelty go unnoticed.
Racing of unshod horses on roadways is a common occurrence, as well as neglect. Would never but a horse from a fair, no idea of history.
@Gemma Whitcher usually the vet is from a private practice, not from the rspca. I agree you though, the rspca are useless most of the time.

@@cherylxavier1123 No, that is just a sales technique. It makes the buyer feel like they are already getting a deal and therefore don't need to negotiate the price anymore. If you think you are getting a £300 horse for £250, then you are more likely to buy it, than if you think your getting a horse worth £250 for £250.

What a cute video:) I got my first horse when I was nine and I am 59 now and still have horses. My Mom loves horses and my children love horses and now my grandchildren love horses too.....must be a horse gene that is passed down lol

They have saved Tony the Pony the gypsies don't care I would have bought them all he was glad to go in the land rover he fit so why not he knew the grass is greener and that he will never b hurt just loved. Px
Not all gypsies are the same my farrier takes fantastic care of his horses
My auntie was a gypsy and her horse mouldy was treated like gold, she’s stopped now and put Mr Mouldy on loan now, he’s thirty five and is thriving so please don’t think all gypsies are cruel just because they’re not living an average boring life, however I don’t know much about other gypsies if that makes sense 😊
Oh my gosh ok so I showed this to my auntie (gypsy) and wow I did not know that they drove horses on the m40🤯 so sad 😞 I’m glad they saved him
