My thoughts and prayempires Are with judd and his family 🙏
What happened to Judd?
now THIS is what ive been waiting for
I love Mason Graham! If we grab him, that makes 2 Michigan men in the 1st round, consecutively!
We need DT's and CB's. Combo of FA - mid level each and draft for each, maybe IOL and WR3 FA/draft too.
Think this is what the Vikings should do too
@@andrewlee1221 No matter what, I am on board. The make-up of this team is growing on me.
Not a mid level one . We have a ton of money
@@Digits-nf9fo yeah me too, next couple of years this team is going be good
Mason Graham would revive the purple people eaters we NEED him
DT's now cost a fortune, so 5 yr rookie contract really helps cap mgt, if you hit.
But most rookie DTs probably take 2-3 seasons to emerge. Jordan Davis still hasn't had his break out. So drafting a DT in 2025 might not help until 2027.
@@robe2504 Dam! You are right, only the rare ones emerge early, but taking amid-level FA and developing a high draft DT for 25 may be the way to go?
I’m going after DT hard in free agency, but will settle for DT in 1st, if we get nothing good
7-12 likely pick zone i guess
DT is a clear priority.
However I wonder why we never talk about OT? Brian O’Neill is getting older and it takes a while for rookies to adapt to the pros
Yes, RT is a sneaky possibility. ONeill could bounce back a year further removed from his Achilles, and OTs often hold their form into their mid 30s. Rouse is a prospect.
Take an impact fasr wr next year. Get it done
Does Mackey have a Surley gut ?
RB is a sneaky need if Jones is truly one and done KOC doesnt fully trust Chandler I love TreVeyon Henderson if available in the 3rd round if jones does decides to leave.
We need to draft a DT with the 1st rounder. The price for a free agent DT will be a lot even with the freed up cap space mason graham was the guy i liked a lot does alot what Harrison Phillips does not a true Nose but is a army knife can do it all.
honestly im down with both drafting DT R1 & Signing a high quality DT in FA.
Kenny Clark, Harrison Phillips, & a R1 DL would be a huge. It would take so much pressure off everyone else.
@SCREAMstackz247 it's been frustrating I've wanted them to draft a DT when Linvals age really started to show and having to watch the bears with Akiem Hicks and green bay with Kenny Clark Jordan Davis made so much sense when we decided to get Cine, DT's are game changers on defense 😮💨
I don’t know if Sam Darnold got worse since he was with the Jets but I just watched an old game against the Packers and he dismantled them LETS SKOL VIKINGS 💜💛
A lot of folks seem to have formed an opinion about Darnold without watching his body of work. He also destroyed the Lions in 2022. The Lions won 8 of their last 9 games including beating the Vikes. The Panthers destroyed them and led about 33-6 10 minutes into the 2nd half.
Darnold started 17 games for the Panthers and went 8-9. Baker, Bryce and others have gone 5-28 with the same team. I think Vikes fans are going to be pleasantly surprised with Sam.
The corner position is the hardest position on the field except for maybe the QB
What if we had taken Aaron Donald? There is a ton of what if drafts. We could be saying this about this draft in a few years.
Folks are making assumptions on assumptions. With a healthy QB, why wouldn't the Vikes be picking in the 20s? And who would have a clue what positions the Vikes might target in the draft next season? They have already swapped out the aging Spielman players, and drafting players doesn't usually resolve immediate problems - Free Agency is usually better for that, for example - Greenard, AVG and Jihad Ward to address the losses at Edge this season. Who knows which players will have a break out season this year, or who will get injured?
If Flores does want something different in the IDL maybe it would be smarter to look at potential FAs, or late 3rd round development projects (with the Comp pick).
With only a first round pick and 2 fifth round picks in the 2025 draft, the Vikings are looking at a near empty pantry.

We’ll have a 3rd round comp pick too so only 4 picks but if Turner becomes a beast and JJ becomes our franchise QB it’ll all be worth it
I'll be shocked if they don't trade back for this very reason. Early pick in the first or a later first AND a 2nd or 3rd? Easy decision to me.
I'll be beyond surprised if the Vikings don't trade back if they have a higher pick. It just makes too much sense to get back another 2nd or 3rd rounder.
Is that you Rick spielman?
Very realistic possibility unless a blue chip player falls their way. Also depends on how the Comp picks pan out. If they do end up with two 3rd round Comp picks, that would make the trade back less likely.
Who will be available at QB? Ibdont think Darnold is the answer
Newsflash - Tillery graded higher than Phillips last season, so maybe stop thinking about him like Lowry. Jonah Williams is likely an upgrade on Lowry. And Jihad Ward might be a better player than DJ Wonnum was.
Perhaps, we could consider that Flores is probably a better judge of players, and skills, and their suitability for the scheme he wants to run, than whatever your interpretation is.
Get JJ’s tight end, Loveland!
Umm we signed Cockensand long team
@@danwill6320 long term?! Better double check that. 😂😂
The Vikings draft needs start with a new GM and player personnel department.
Analysts and fans seem to be limited to thinking in traditional one-dimensional, linear ways, whereas I'd suggest Flores is a step or two ahead of everyone. Instead of trying to judge Flores' roster - which is very arrogant - and suggesting how he should be constructing his defence - shouldn't we be trying to figure out what he is trying to do?
If Flores wanted a big NT or DT, he could have signed one, or at least kept Tonga.
Flores has hand picked about 5 or 6 players for his D Line - Greenard, AVG, Turner, Jihad, Tillery, Jonah Williams, even Roy last season and Cashman, and collectively the new guys are better, and deeper than the guys they replace. The one characteristic everyone on the Flores defence shares - including Pace, Metellus, Ford, Murphy etc - is flexibility. They can nearly all play multiple spots. That is really interesting.
Now we are in the "WEED"S and off the rails with even thinking about the 25 draft 10 months b4 it happens. Hell, we have 0 clue how the season will go. Let alone guessing where they will pick. Ya'll are really scratching the bottom of the football shower room floor looking for topics to fill podcasts shows. Impressive!!! And sad all at the same time. LOL
Exactly let's see what happens this year, searching for a topic we have lots of cap room who will we sign
Let it play out then DRAFT
This show was more of an introduction to players to keep an eye on that currently project to go in round one. You are right that nobody knows about how the season will go
Ok thanks for responding @vikings1stskol92
@vikings1stskol92 Yeah I know what the mission of the episode was. Sitll... roll a big fatty and watch the 25 draft in July of 24. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Dunno. Did you happen to see the name of the show? It's not new.
I want Travis hunter
I think every team does
RB has to be the dumbest 2nd pick
Kwesi has destroyed the Vikings roster so badly, that the most important and exciting part of the Vikings 2024 season is already covering players the Vikings might draft in the 2025 NFL DRAFT. SKOL
