Brother we need at least 1A on the 12V output! Also was thinking if I can connect the outputs of two speakers in parallel to keep the 12V and double the amps. Also we really need Everse 12 in WHITE. Pleeeeeeeeease. :)
Thanks a lot for your livetest outside. Does the Everse 8 battery also fit in the Everse 12, so that i can switch the battery pack between them? I'm thinking of buying two Everse 12s and would like to be able to hear the mic signal from the second speaker. Which transmitter/receiver combination is recommended for this? Two sticks? Use would be speech reinforcement and background sound at weddings, champagne receptions etc. For the dance floor, I have other calibers at the start that require power. Thank you!
@@georgchekinoff239 Thanks for the info, they do share a lot of similarity, or lack of new things add. Recently I find out my ev8 sound is kind of harsh or piering piercing, i use treble +4 for vocal mic e945, I think I will try PEQ/GEQ tomorrow to see if I can cut some high freq.
I wanna know if the 12 is producing more full beautiful bass like how the jbl party box 310/320-1000 does. I ahve the 310 and just got the 320. Returned the everse 8 cause it has that punchy bass but no deep beautiful complimenting bass. It was an incredible battery speaker but yah i need that high quality bass it improves the quality of vibing and dancing so much even tho the tweeters don’t get as loud. If anyone knows if the 12 makes some high quality bass I’d love to know.
Limited on inputs. Can you connect a mini mixer with the mixout for more channels and then power it with the 12 volt if the mixer is rated the same.. Thanks
Hi! How and how will the sound of Everse 12 differ from Everse 8? As, for example, in this short 1.5-minute excerpt ua-cam.com/video/OMPkPStMgo4/v-deo.html JBL Eon One Compact is significantly inferior to Everse 8 in volume, but at the same time, the drums and percussion of JBL Eon One Compact sound more clearly on this recording, they are not lost against the background of other instruments
Today I bought everse 12. I play guitar and sing and I needed a monitor. I went with the intention of buying the 8". I tried it and was disappointed. The 12" has a much nicer sound and is also louder :) 8" was quiet for my needs, and it reaches the limit very easily. maybe it's OK for reproducing music, but for playing acoustic... I wouldn't recommend it
I have to say that I'm disappointed that EV didn't make it with more channels. An Everse 10 would have been better. This Everse 12 is too big to carry easily for busking like the 8.
We carry them as well and have them in stock: www.kpodj.com/mackie-thump-go--8in---115db-p-112648 The difference in output is 11dB, though. If 115dB is all you need, the Mackie is a great option and we've got you covered. But according to SPL calculators, (1) EVERSE 12 will be louder than (8) Thump 12 Go in the same room.
We carry that as well: www.kpodj.com/mackie-showbox--2way-8in---122db-p-114443 It has an 8in woofer and is 4dB less in output (so it's more comperable to the Everse 8: www.kpodj.com/electro-voice-everse-8--8in---121db-p-113358 ) The ShowBox does have a mixer that is pretty cool.
Unbelievable! I love my Everse 8. But I’m bout to sell all my damn speakers for some EV 12s lol. Keep the 8’ of course 🔥
Sounds great! When you're ready, these are ready to buy here: www.kpodj.com/electro-voice-everse-12--12in---126db-p-114446
Seriously …. Only two instrument inputs on this bigger model !? Surely they could’ve added an extra input ! 😞
I agree! I was hoping for an Everse 10 with extra inputs.

Its magnificent just 1 thing to give it 5⭐ can u link 2 of them wirelessly?
For Bluetooth playback, yes. No to wireless linking of the mixer inputs. It's basically the same as the Everse 8.

A 10 would’ve been the perfect battery operated, mobile speaker.
Agree, 12 is too big/heavy
@@WWeiss-nv5vz yes, 12 seems even hard to fit into the back of sedan for pair.

@@georgchekinoff239 A larger driver is more efficient than a smaller driver, so the 12" doesn't need as much power as the 8" for the same SPL
How is the compression driver different than the 8's dome tweeter?
Everse 12 or Evolve 50 for a hall setting with salsa dancers.? (150 people)
EV give us a Everse 10 😩😩

Hit the gym and stop complaining about 31 lbs as a grown man smh. Stick with the weights in one hand and a donut in the other
@nodaysoff2005 wow...that's your answer? I'm going to be 62 and gig 25 times a month. The Everse 12 fills nothing for me that the Everse 8 can't do.

Can I link the 8 and 12?

Whats uts charge time? Weight? Is the battery swappable?
The weight is 31lbs. The batteries are swappable. They use the same batteries as the Everse 8. The charge time is about 5 hours.

These have a max SPL of 126dB. EV rated the battery life at 95dB, which was 12 hours on a single charge.
