The old cabooses were neat to see. I believe the wooden one was a New York Central standard caboose, built from 1910 or so to the mid 1930s, right at the Collinwood shops in Cleveland. The "Red Carpet line" refers to the 20th Century Limited, the New York Central's flagship passenger train at the time. The Rio Grande caboose is a long way from home! From the inside, it seems to have been a MOW (Maintenance of Way) car, used for toolmaking and repairs; there's a workbench and a small forge in there. Someone clearly owns or owned that building who is a railroad enthusiast. I can think of any number of museums who would love to get either or both of those cabs. The sunken room with the submerged doors is the boiler room. Those sunken metal doors are the firedoors for the boilers. It's directly under the train tracks so hopper cars of coal could unload directly into that pit you're in, and you're very likely standing on a pile of coal. Very cool video!

30:06 the baskets were used for employees to keep their personal belongings for the day. They hoisted them up out of the way and then brought it back down at the end of the day to collect their stuff before going home. Has benches like a locker room too. Old mines had these for their employees too

I don't know if you ever heard of Bridgeport CT but we had two humongous factories with multiple buildings. One was G.E and the other Remington arms. Years after they closed down you could hear banging and other noises as if the buildings were still in operation. I think you encountered some residual noises from the building. Love your channel!
Am from CT as well. We have a ton of abandoned hospitals, not to mention Fairfield Hills one of the largest around with an entire campus of abandoned land
Great video Chris! You were correct, those circular handles on the trains are known as "Handbrakes" and provide indivual air pressure to each car. The cars you were in are called "Cabooses." The yellow caboose belonged to the "Rio Grande; the Action Route" the specific type of caboose is an off-center cupola. Keep safe out there.
Yet another great episode, Chris. You leave me biting at the bit for your next episodes . I did my apprenticeship for 4 years at U.S Steel as a welder with the Pipefitters and also the Iron Workers. Where you see them by the molten lava, the Coke Oven would be the proper name, I worked in that division. I'd always preferred steel mills rather than refineries. This tour brings back many great memories. Thanks again!😊
at 33:00 there's a rectangular looking silhouette in front of the window as you pan right and then left, but as you pan right again it seems to quickly move away from you and out of view of the camera. Thanks for another great video, I really appreciate your work.
are you talking about looking up? in the window that is up near the roof? and the shadow is gone, out of frame when he turns his light down??? - because I can't find ANYTHING like what you're describing, unless you're talking about the roof windows.... and in THAT CASE the 'shadow' you are talking about is a chimney on another building, and as he walks forward the window goes to a higher and higher angle and eventually the chimney cannot be seen through that window and this is just a matter of perspective... OTHER THAN THIS I JUST DO NOT SEE ANT "DISAPPEARING SHADOWS" 🤷♂

Hey Chris, I’ve missed seeing you but I’m glad you have returned. @10:10 a female was complementing your cheeks and not the ones on your face! Lol!!! I caught a female voice but I can’t make out what is being said @16:54. At @21:44 you are not alone, check out the recent wet footprints! Also @23:17 you can hear a female voice sigh and she says a couple more words before you speak again. @28:53 I hear a child’s voice say something and the word “heaven”, she says several more words but I’m unable to make them all out. @31:56 the chain swinging may have not been a ghost but the female voice I heard at this time stamp most certainly was a ghost. Up to this point it’s only been female voices I’m hearing. I don’t understand unless there were some females that worked there doing some office work inside one of those small rooms or possibly died in that area after it closed down. @32:19 I can make out a male voice saying a word or two but I heard him say for sure “wet”! Ok this one is freaky. @33:00 when you crank up the ISO’s at the center frame at the very top level you see this weird shape of a silhouette that at first I thought was something just hanging from the ceiling but @33:10 when you are facing center frame again there is nothing there??? What could have that been?? Maybe you or someone else can figure that one out! Chris I’m hoping to see you much sooner my friend with another banger video.
Regarding 33:00 / 33:10 - Whatever that silhouette is is simply disappearing behind the large metal girder as Chris walks forwards. Apart from what sounds like a voice @31:56, I hear none of the other stuff you hear.
@@terratec1001 Completely agree with you. The shape is nothing and it disappears because he's walking forward and the metal girder obscures it as the viewing angle changes. I do hear a female whispering at both 23:17 and 31:56, and a child's voice at 28:53 but literally all the other timestamps mentioned by the above and the others in the comments there is nothing there at all. The "male voice" saying "wet" is literally the sound of his foot pivoting in the debris on the ground.
I heard about 90% of what she posted & the rest I might need headphones to make out what was said & I did notice that silhouette that after a few completely disappears. I also noticed the wet shoe prints on the ground 👀 thanks for bringing attention to these time stamps @Carolina Raine 👌🏼

Yikes, Chris, but this place was creepy! Are you *sure* that all of those bangs and clangs were just the wind? Some of that noise legit sounded like doors closing, and that piece of metal hitting the floor - I dunno! 21:33 "We're aaaallll in heah (we're all in here)!" Faint male whisper "underneath" your footsteps as you are walking past the end of that yellow metal gate. 23:08 "Wait up!" Very faint male whisper as you're just walking along. 23:17 "Nee nee NEE nah!" Odd female voice, singing. Not really a hum, per se. It even echoes. 24:31 Flashing orb moves from top center of screen off to the left. 24:34 "Hello!" Male whisper right as you say: "Wow-- ". 31:57 "Suck it up!" Female (?) whisper right after you say: "It's not a ghost!". Spirit *knows* you're unnerved. That loud bang, BTW, sounded like something hitting that metal railing on the stairs. It was very close to you. 32:13 "Step BACK!" Male whisper as you are panning the camera over to the right. Not a lot of EVP-type stuff until later on in this video, but those other sounds: the loud bang, the sounds of (possibly) doors closing, the metal piece being dropped to the floor... It was so damned noisy in there that it almost could have been a factory still in operation! I exaggerate, I know, but wow, it was loud at times! - so I checked out some of your "EVP"s and I have to say the first three are just Chris breathing and your imagination... so I didn't go through the reast.... I can hear what you are saying is the EVP, but it's just Chris' breath TBH ... didn't you notice they were all male voices that sounds identical to Chris??? - - I THINK that 'orb' is just soem dusty Chris kicked up as he was walking... and I only say it because there are quite a few other piecves of dust that don't reflect his camera light as much as that one... BUT I guess there is a SMALL CHANCE it could be an ORB...but I'm leaning more towards no - - - I didn't hear ANYTHING on the fifth one of the man saying 'hello' - - I already explained in the other reply about the female voice - AND that LAST ONE of the MALE VOICE saying "STEP BACK!" .. well I think you just may have a REAL GOOD ONE THERE!!!! The baskets would have been used to put parts in and and then dipped in Vats to put Coatings of different types on them or different type of treatments on the metal and then chances are they go through a vate or a ultrasonic cleaner with deionized water or like acetone.... there's a whole process for treating metal parts that's used in manufacturing.... I love exploring with you 💕 thanks for the great videos😊

There's alot of EVPs in this video. Many of them are masked within other ambient sounds like footsteps and shuffles. @9:51 I hear "you're very courageous Chris." Then something possibly about spirits or demons.
@@wickedjester8272 Yeah some EVP's are hard to hear. I've captured EVP's masked within other environmental noises like bangs, shuffles, other voices, almost anything imaginable. After scouring so many hours of audio for EVP's, I can't unhear the patterns words create.

14:28 My dad worked at a power plant and he once had a hook similar to this fall on his head. He was wearing his hard hat, but even with the hard hat on, he was instantly knocked out cold. Fortunately he wasn't seriously injured, but I can't imagine the damage it would have done to him if he wasn't protected. It's good that you prefer not to mess with stuff like that!

This is easily one of, if not thee best urban exploration channels. Keeping it 100 is what I respect. The authenticity is what makes it so good. So many channels start to get wrapped up with the obsession with views(understandably), that they start faking their content. Oddly enough, if you just keep it real, you'll never have that problem

Where you see them by the molten lava, the Coke Oven would be the proper name, I worked in that division. I'd always preferred steel mills rather than refineries. at 33:00 there's a rectangular looking silhouette in front of the window as you pan right and then left, but as you pan right again it seems to quickly move away from you and out of view of the camera. Thanks for another great video, I really appreciate your work.

are you talking about looking up? in the window that is up near the roof? and the shadow is gone, out of frame when he turns his light down??? - because I can't find ANYTHING like what you're describing, unless you're talking about the roof windows.... and in THAT CASE the 'shadow' you are talking about is a chimney on another building, and as he walks forward the window goes to a higher and higher angle and eventually the chimney cannot be seen through that window and this is just a matter of perspective...
OTHER THAN THIS I JUST DO NOT SEE ANT "DISAPPEARING SHADOWS" 🤷♂

Hey Chris, I’ve missed seeing you but I’m glad you have returned. @10:10 a female was complementing your cheeks and not the ones on your face! Lol!!! I caught a female voice but I can’t make out what is being said @16:54. At @21:44 you are not alone, check out the recent wet footprints! Also @23:17 you can hear a female voice sigh and she says a couple more words before you speak again. @28:53 I hear a child’s voice say something and the word “heaven”, she says several more words but I’m unable to make them all out. @31:56 the chain swinging may have not been a ghost but the female voice I heard at this time stamp most certainly was a ghost. Up to this point it’s only been female voices I’m hearing. I don’t understand unless there were some females that worked there doing some office work inside one of those small rooms or possibly died in that area after it closed down. @32:19 I can make out a male voice saying a word or two but I heard him say for sure “wet”! Ok this one is freaky. @33:00 when you crank up the ISO’s at the center frame at the very top level you see this weird shape of a silhouette that at first I thought was something just hanging from the ceiling but @33:10 when you are facing center frame again there is nothing there??? What could have that been?? Maybe you or someone else can figure that one out! Chris I’m hoping to see you much sooner my friend with another banger video.
Regarding 33:00 / 33:10 - Whatever that silhouette is is simply disappearing behind the large metal girder as Chris walks forwards. Apart from what sounds like a voice @31:56, I hear none of the other stuff you hear.
@@terratec1001 Completely agree with you. The shape is nothing and it disappears because he's walking forward and the metal girder obscures it as the viewing angle changes. I do hear a female whispering at both 23:17 and 31:56, and a child's voice at 28:53 but literally all the other timestamps mentioned by the above and the others in the comments there is nothing there at all. The "male voice" saying "wet" is literally the sound of his foot pivoting in the debris on the ground.
I heard about 90% of what she posted & the rest I might need headphones to make out what was said & I did notice that silhouette that after a few completely disappears. I also noticed the wet shoe prints on the ground 👀 thanks for bringing attention to these time stamps @Carolina Raine 👌🏼

Yikes, Chris, but this place was creepy! Are you *sure* that all of those bangs and clangs were just the wind? Some of that noise legit sounded like doors closing, and that piece of metal hitting the floor - I dunno!
21:33 "We're aaaallll in heah (we're all in here)!" Faint male whisper "underneath" your footsteps as you are walking past the end of that yellow metal gate.
23:08 "Wait up!" Very faint male whisper as you're just walking along.
23:17 "Nee nee NEE nah!" Odd female voice, singing. Not really a hum, per se. It even echoes.
24:31 Flashing orb moves from top center of screen off to the left.
24:34 "Hello!" Male whisper right as you say: "Wow-- ".
31:57 "Suck it up!" Female (?) whisper right after you say: "It's not a ghost!". Spirit *knows* you're unnerved. That loud bang, BTW, sounded like something hitting that metal railing on the stairs. It was very close to you.
32:13 "Step BACK!" Male whisper as you are panning the camera over to the right.
Not a lot of EVP-type stuff until later on in this video, but those other sounds: the loud bang, the sounds of (possibly) doors closing, the metal piece being dropped to the floor... It was so damned noisy in there that it almost could have been a factory still in operation! I exaggerate, I know, but wow, it was loud at times! What a great explore, and thank you for being so brave! Take care and stay safe!

- so I checked out some of your "EVP"s and I have to say the first three are just Chris breathing and your imagination... so I didn't go through the reast.... I can hear what you are saying is the EVP, but it's just Chris' breath TBH ... didn't you notice they were all male voices that sounds identical to Chris???
- - I THINK that 'orb' is just soem dusty Chris kicked up as he was walking... and I only say it because there are quite a few other piecves of dust that don't reflect his camera light as much as that one... BUT I guess there is a SMALL CHANCE it could be an ORB...but I'm leaning more towards no

The baskets would have been used to put parts in and and then dipped in Vats to put Coatings of different types on them or different type of treatments on the metal and then chances are they go through a vate or a ultrasonic cleaner with
deionized water or like acetone.... there's a whole process for treating metal parts that's used in manufacturing.... I love exploring with you 💕 thanks for the great videos😊

There's alot of EVPs in this video. Many of them are masked within other ambient sounds like footsteps and shuffles. @9:51 I hear "you're very courageous Chris." Then something possibly about spirits or demons.

@@wickedjester8272 Yeah some EVP's are hard to hear. I've captured EVP's masked within other environmental noises like bangs, shuffles, other voices, almost anything imaginable. After scouring so many hours of audio for EVP's, I can't unhear the patterns words create.

@25:55 says "help us." They're everywhere throughout this video.

Urbex doesn’t play around. Probs one of if not the best explorers out there. The scenery looked like something out of a horror film/game series. There is something about abandoned places flooded with water that really creeps me out. Always has.

14:28 My dad worked at a power plant and he once had a hook similar to this fall on his head. He was wearing his hard hat, but even with the hard hat on, he was instantly knocked out cold. Fortunately he wasn't seriously injured, but I can't imagine the damage it would have done to him if he wasn't protected. It's good that you prefer not to mess with stuff like that!

This is easily one of, if not thee best urban exploration channels. Keeping it 100 is what I respect. The authenticity is what makes it so good. So many channels start to get wrapped up with the obsession with views(understandably), that they start faking their content. Oddly enough, if you just keep it real, you'll never have that problem
