Italy is so anyoing. If Kevin was have patience he would win but game would last over 1 hour more.I like rushing also but on Italy you must play slowly win them on economy and spam artilery after. They make to many buildings i dont like them not at all. From what i see i think Kevin is much beter player and this Revnak he just play to make him score beter..
Italy was needed or the supremacy of Brits, Otto and a few others would have been and stayed exaggerated. Now it's more balanced, more civs around level S\A more counters etc, and especially with Ethiopians or Italians (and others already before in Legacy) you are able to switch to any unit in that civ and transform your civ in else, also revolutions are interesting. Before it felt a bit strict and standard gaming. I hate however the meta that always changes, it's procedural grinding that finance, sales, and game analysts force on developers to keep "rejuvenating" a multiplayer game (which is the highest example of dynamic asset in gaming)... a good game should have a wast plethora of opportunities by original design (in FPS usually based on NPC design and behaviors, emergent gameplay and level design...) and in RTS like AOE III, u have cards already. No need to constantly change the meta and "nerf\unnerf" ... yes I agree, time in general is a variable that is not much considered, it is the weapon of the temporizing strategists, and also italy can use it against others. Kevin wastes time and little details. Revnak always on the ball as despite losing several vills he knows how to make France waste time... Kevin made a TP (and then stopped there, should have worked on that and territory, instead he chooses the "battle ground" making skirms (good choice) but then make them waste time chasing\cat and mouse style with 3 hussars!! (What?!) ... then also makes cav but doesn't use it. Lost the native scout doesn't scout anymore... Revnak eroded the various "strategy spears" that Kevin had put and then just dropped the poker (territory occupation), There was "just one thing" to do against the italian, but it wasn't taken care of. the problem with this game is having to know civs, and we have limited time. Execution of our stuff and strategy elaboration needs to include the opponent knowledge and their possible strategies. Big time required... It's ok, but they need to stop changing meta. The game needs to get completed, updated and improved in UI\ Graphic interface some QoL .. but then that's it. Stop changing meta.
Not really, the game DE was really more balanced, but if you know how to use a civ and know the others that creates the unbalance. The balance is based on knowledge. The game is really balanced. Then I could say Malta is fantasy, not even more realistic... but it's ok, it's fun as long as it doesn't exaggerate (see the teleporting of troops or the exaggerated fire throwers .. already in China hands since long time). Meta needs to stay fixed at some point the game has to stop changing or players time is abused and people are not respected anymore.
I don't like this kind of videos. you don't show a perspective but waste time going around. Not really useful, fortunately the important part is visibile: how the italia using player has responded. This is more Commentary\ show time oriented stuff, has not much to do with RTS and strategy learning.. if this is the style at least add your commentary so that you can help fill the gaps that your camera panning does create. Description doesn't mention the map. Seems just stuff for the pro (instead at 5:10 you could hover on the stable being built and show how much time is left to build it, stuff like this... but it's more like a point click adventure)... Some french players are upset due to Italy humiliating france. Italy at 7:10 would have had 2-3 more vills than france, if it had not been rushed and over and over, but the point is... another, quite some bad choices by Kevin, It's not France that is inferior civ, it's the use of what you have. .. It's like Revnak knew already what was going to happen... see also the falconets and the raid huge efficiency (someone from france wants to check Revnak if the player had a earpiece mounted in the lower parts of the body, vibrating and giving him clues on what the opponent was going to do (dejavu in Chess world competition...) ahahahha Great game. It looks almost "staged"... like a dissertation on how badly you can use your troops... this is not a pamphlet against DLC or Italy, italy is just like others, and good flexible civ yes. But can be beaten. Even russia is hard to beat if one doesn't stop it early. The thing is that nobody reasearches way to go around usual strategies, but there are ways.
we want more videos thx

New civs are so much OP its ruined the balance of game

I agree, i would suggest take the POV from each in two separate videos
