When I first heard this song 20+ years ago, I thought it was amazing. It sounded fresh, new and exciting (I hadn't heard of Nightwish yet) but it was lacking something to my ear. I finally found out what is was years later. Waggaki Band with full symphony orchestra. It just takes the song to another level. Thanks for the reaction. Great insight as usual. Cheers!
This was from the WagakkiBand Premium Symphonic Night Vol.2 Live & Orchestra in Osaka-Jo Hall February 2020 where Amy Lee was invited as a special guest for the performance of Bring me to life. A one night show only. They also wrote a song together "Sakura Rising". It was a proposal from the Record Company for a collaboration, now that they are under the same record label. A bit sad that The eight members came to the conclusion that they should take a break from their activities as a Wagakki band, enrich each member's activities, improve themselves as artists and musicians, and then return again. Our answer was, ``When the eight of us stand on stage, we will deliver even more wonderful music from Wagakki Band to the world than ever before.''
@@DJAYPAZ I'm pretty sure it's not going to be a short one, their daughter is turning 2 in November and I'm thinking that Yuko and Kiyoshi could use some extended family time with their little girl.
This entire concert is amazing and it's one of my top playlists for some nice easy and beautiful music, backed by a full symphony orchestra. You guys have to listen to the whole thing, just out in Wagakki Band - Live Premium Symphonic Night Vol. 2. I enjoy the songs from this concert like no other I've heard from WGB. Amy Lee and Yuko also collaborated around the same time for the song "Sakura Rising", a covid themed song about two friends on opposite sides of the globe. I think the way this was arranged perfectly to bring in the smoothness and traditional classic tone was perfection. WGB's guitarist Machiya did the arrangement, as he does with all of the groups songs. Great reactions as always guys !!!!!!
Nice reaction!! There's algo a version of Evanescence when they re-did a few songs of past albums with orchestral arrangements... There's a orchestral version of Bring me to life... Check it out if ur up to "Evanescence - bring me to life Synthesis Live DVD version"

Beni Beni Beni!
Splendid performance. The distinctive feature is the traditional Japanese vibe of the taiko drum.

This is a epic collaboration of talent! Amy and Yuko complement each other so well!

One of Asa-sans masterpieces.

Yes, I read they were going on hiatus. Hopefully it’s not permanent.
