- A Disneyland flyover is by far the most frequent request I’ve gotten. Thankfully I was able to make it happen. Los Angeles is usually a vibrant and congested city. Due to recent events, things are very different right now in Los Angeles. To see what LA looks like from the air I flew my helicopter on Sunday April 19th 2020 from 5PM - 6PM over the following areas but most especially Disneyland. This is an update to the video I posted flying over Los Angeles on March 20th 2020.

MFL it’s technically a no fly zone, so technically not legal. But I’m sure since the air traffic is so minimal they don’t care since it’s not as populated area currently

It could be the fact that Disneyland is closed.

So those cars in the parking lot of Angel Stadium are stored rental cars from the various rental car companies because no one is renting them. Thats why they are all different.

Hopefully some normality will return soon! I'm about to be furloughed from 3rd May as they are rotating the staff on duty at my airline job.

As for myself, this months pay is normal...but next month's will be about 20% less as my company are using the UK government scheme.

While people were looking for Disneyland, i was looking for the house where i lived in for 5 months, 8 years ago in Orange Park Acres! Very happy to say it was easy to spot and i almost cried haha :D Miss California SO much

I was doing the same thing. I live in Corona but used to be a courier in Orange County and I was just looking at all the streets trying to identify landmarks and stuff. Looks a lot different from the air.
We're really enjoying your aerial tours of Southern California! We'd love to see your view of the coastline from Long Beach down south towards San Onofre! Some of our favorite destinations by land include Huntington and Newport Harbors, Newport Center, Crystal Cove, Laguna Beach!

Bel Air is fun to drive around. And the hotel with the same name is discreetly tucked amid all the real estate. My daughter and I went for a charity dinner one night and saw a coyote on our way in.
For a person who is fascinated with how the park is laid out and how they do such a great job to hide the backstage buildings and equipment so well from the guest this was an amazing video! I often stare at my aerial posters taking it all in but it was even more cooler to see a fly over of the park. Thanks for sharing!

As a Disney fanatic, a STAR WARS fanatic, an aerial photography fanatic, and a music fanatic, this video was off-the-charts for me. Loved every second. I also always marvel and geek out on the protocols of air traffic control. I hardly understand a word of it but something about the orderliness of the skies appeals to me on many levels. Hes got a video all about his chopper. Talked about two tanks, and about 3 hours flight time. Said after 2 hours, it's time to stretch.

Most small helicopters can go about 350 nautical miles on one tank. We are posting lot's of Malibu footage on our channel, check it out if you get a chance.

Man that was so cool! Loved seeing Disneyland from above, that was so awesome. Also really enjoyed the flights over the parks and small lakes and open spaces and stuff. I keep telling my friends who have never been to L.A., that the L.A. area is like a giant playground of fun stuff to do and you could spend months there visiting fun places and still not do it all. Man I would love to ride my motorcycle on those empty freeways right now. Anyway, great video once again, looking forward to the next one! (maybe Avalon flyover at some point?)

My fav ride is the Haunted Mansion! Looks like there's scaffolding or some kind of tarp around the ride's facade...perhaps it's getting a fresh coat of paint
They were doing an extended refurbishment and started doing it after the Christmas layover was done for the year.
When I have dreams of Disney, I dream of the Mansion. The last time that I was there was 2000, the first time as a young Marine 1975. I"m living in OZ now. :)

No -- I haven't seen too many people restricting their travel where I am. I don't go out much because I really don't feel like making a present of CoV-2 to my 91-year-old mother, but the parking lot of the local supermarket has looked like a normal shopping day the two times I've been out.

Favorite ride at Disney: Pirates of the Caribbean! It's a guys' favorite! I'm from Detroit.
I lived within 15 miles of Disneyland my first 35 years. 7 years of that within walking distance. I'd get a yearly pass and sometimes I'd just go over for a couple hours before I went to work in the afternoon. Pirates is my favorite too. I was highly annoyed and displeased when they changed the ride for political correctness in the 90's.
When I lived in LA, I got an annual pass just so I could go have lunch often at the restaurant in the Pirates of the Caribbean :)
Are you able to put a 360 camera under your helicopter? I feel like that'd give it a really cool perspective.
I assume you also mean with the ability to upload the 360 video to UA-cam so we can look all around while he is flying. Would love to see that also :D

Nothing like seeing the house I grew up in when you went over Anaheim. One of my first memories as a kid is watching the Disneyland fireworks from our back yard. :D

Favorite ride in Disneyland is Indiana jones , Knotts berry farm Americas first and oldest theme park is very nice

patr70 There are five counties that make up the greater Los Angeles Metropolitan area:
L.A. being in the center, Ventura County to the West, San bernadino and Riverside counties to East, AND YES, Orange County to the immediate southeast.....so yes OC IS part of L.A.

Cool at 4:20, I can see my house. I know it says the 19th, but I went out on the 17th and saw a chopper in the sky flying a similar path. I noted it as I found it odd. But maybe it's just something I never noticed before.

Disney on the other hand is gonna come back with its over priced tickets and have less employees and crew and they’ll screw us all as they have been for the past 5 or 6 years.
Glad I have a condo in Vegas and glad I don’t have annual passes for Disney anymore (8 passes at $400 a piece is too much)

Roger B yeah I’m young and arrogant. I just said Vegas will survive and Disney needs to learn a lesson. What’s wrong having a condo in Vegas? Can’t you afford one. And 8 annual passes to Disney are over 2800$ to when in 2008 the cost was about 1200$ Disney is over priced and former employees admit it, just look around here on UA-cam.
And being 50 I don’t think I’m young.
