Immortal Technique is by far my favorite rapper of all time next is obviously eminem and neither one of them would stand a chance in the battle rap world. Hollow The don, Pat Stay, Bigg K, Diz etc. Could easily beat them. any top ten URL battler for sure would win. Probably only a few KOTD battlers maybe 1-2 people from UK and Oxxxymiron from Russia.

For example, Iron Solomon got served up bad in the UK when he went up against someone in Scribblejam cause that person was smart with their lyrical flows and off the dome skills. But in THIS DAY AND AGE, you think any of them got a chance- the Battle Rappers now are monsters of written bars and even if you got the chance to work writtens, if you haven't battled much in the new format- you would get destroyed y the antics of people like DIZ who uses props and write up 15 mins Writtens... But say, during the era of SOUL KHAN, the man who tamed the SONs and bodied them in one bar....he came back and sadly, he held his ground against Diz but the style changed so much that his bars were not hitting right and Diz bodied him.
Always been a technique fan and listening to this solidified that ... pretty crazy watching grown men dis themselves with words and creativity wonder if the ancient poets ever threw down like this

Yuh, fools still be reading off the pad before they battle. A lot of those battles are a mix of freestyle/written. Although, some guys are absolutely exceptional off the head and can rebuttal with clever shit, pad or not
