I absolutely love the air fried avocado slices. Pretty much you just bread them like you did the pickles and they become *chefs kiss* amazing. You can pair them with ranch or a chili mayo dip.
We've made these before. Not since getting an air fryer though. But we eventually combined the wet and dry to make a batter because it was so hard to go dry, wet, dry and coat the onion well. We would put it in a large deep bowl (about the size of a mixer bowl) and dip it cut side down, then flip it over in the batter and leave it sitting so the batter could run down into the petals. She was missing 1 key step though. After cutting the onion it should be put into an ice water bath. It helps the petals open up and helps the bloom keep its shape.
The pronounciation of gif is, according to the creator of the format, "Jif" - I will contend that he's wrong and should feel bad about his choices, and continue to call it Gif, with a hard 'g'.

I just found out about air frying eggs the other day and I'm love with it! It's great for making jammy and soft boiled eggs since it's more consistent and has less room for error than boiling also you dont need to struggle with water or using a pot. It works and doesnt cause the egg to explode since it still cooks with heat going out side in. Microwaves cook inside going out so it causes the pressure to build up and make it blow like a popcorn kernel.
When you use an air fryer just remember it's basically a small convection oven. Just look up how to cook "?" in a convection oven and go from there. I do enchilladas, chicken, ribs, etc., in mine... It's amazing. Last night I sent an aluminum container with ziti home with my son so he could "cook" it at home... for his girlfriend. He cooked it in the air fryer I gave him. Turned out perfectly.

So...I think you cut off the root end of the onion? It was really hard to tell, but yeah...the root end is the one the onion skin grows out of, and the blossom or stem end is the end that that they all meet at. Also, if I recall, there was a "how do they do that?" type show ages ago about the Bloomin' Onion and one of the secrets was either freezing the onion or putting it in ice water before coating it. I think it helped the onion keep its shape.
We haven't tried one in our air fryer yet, but we have fried them before and we always did a ice water bath. It helps the onion open up and hold its shape. We also started years ago combining wet and dry and making a batter. It's so much easier to just dip the entire onion 1 time in batter and then flip it over so it runs down into the "petals" than it is to go dry, wet, dry again.

You need a really sharp knife so that you can cut the onion easily and be able to control it enough to not slice through the root. The last time we made one we cut out the center petals of the onion and it made the best one yet. We still coated those petals we cut out and cooked them too. The onion was able to bloom more and we didn't have a bunch of under cooked coating and onion in the center which is always an issue. After using our air fryer for the last year or so. I honestly think doing the entire onion at once it will always cook unevenly. I would probably either cut it into individual onion petals or after you cut the entire onion go back and cut through the root to make 4 smaller bloom sections. Hope that makes sense. Even the best air fryers cook unevenly/have hot spots. It's why we 'shake' the basket. So move the sections around a few times during cooking. You can use any recipe you find for your air fried onion but also look up air fryer recipes for it so that you will know any tips and secrets. One main tip is the same for anything you want to brown in an air fryer and that's to spray the item with oil especially if you do a recipe where you dredge the onion in a flour mixture. You don't want any flour to be dry when air frying. We purchased a continuous mist spray bottle and put canola oil in it. It stays beside our air fryer. It almost defeats the purpose of air frying, but with a mister you can coat items evenly with less oil.

Rach I JUST ate some air fried turkey burgers and they are my favorite thing to meal prep for the week. Delicious all week long, easy to cook, minimal clean up, and healthier than beef.

Loved this video. Just a tip for lava cake (anywhere). Use gloves and turn it out when it’s hot. The inside is lava because the centre is cooked enough to be safe but still liquid. If you leave it to let the ramekin cool, the residual temperature will cook the centre. Still delicious, not lava. Also, oven cooked lava cakes take roughly 10 minutes as well but a longer preheat time. I’m fortunate to say my husband perfected the lava cake during quarantine lol

My absolute favorite airfrier recipe is corn ribs with a soy honey butter sauce and airfry until charred on some niblets, it is heavenly! Finish with sesame seeds and green onions 🤤

We make hard boiled eggs in the instant pot. Add a cup of water, then place the trivet and stack as many eggs in as you can fit. High pressure for 5 or 6 mins gives the perfect hard boiled eggs (not chalky at all!) and they peel like a dream! The shell basically comes off in 2 pieces!
@@DramaQueenD13 Manual. And I actually don’t use the trivet for it anymore, I use a big strainer basket for the instant pot that I ordered from Amazon, that way I can just pull the whole basket out and put it in a sink filled with ice water, rather than pulling each egg out one at a time 😊
Our upstairs is currently under construction so I’m an without a kitchen. I have a microwave, crock pot and air fryer. We love hard boiled eggs so I have been making them in the air fryer.
I was glad to see that I'm not the only one who had a blooming onion fail, even though I used a smaller one. I've always wanted to try making a baked potato in the air fryer... well I mean I can't now since mine died, and I haven't gotten a replacement yet.
Brioche slider buns - pop in pre heated air fryer at 375 for 1 - 2 minutes. Brush lightly with melted butter and roll in cinnamon sugar mix. Pipe jam/nutella/custard into centre = at home hot donuts

I would say close to soft boiled. With white done but the yolk nicely golden and just set.

Love your videos, I cook boil my eggs in the Instant Pot and they peel very easily. When making pickled eggs I have done 32 in my 6qt Instant Pot.
Try making garlic bread in the air fryer!! A little butter, garlic salt and put it in there at 450 for 5 minutes or so and OMG!! SSSOOOO YUMMY!
Wow! I haven’t seen that pink pineapple before. I will keep an eye out for it now.
The air fryer eggs work really well and the best part is you don’t have to watch them as closely as you do on the stove.
I have an egg cooker that is amazing. It steams the eggs and I 10/10 recommend it.
We make hard boiled eggs in the instant pot. Add a cup of water, then place the trivet and stack as many eggs in as you can fit. High pressure for 5 or 6 mins gives the perfect hard boiled eggs (not chalky at all!) and they peel like a dream! The shell basically comes off in 2 pieces!
Do you let it naturally release? Or do you do it manually?
@@DramaQueenD13 Manual. And I actually don’t use the trivet for it anymore, I use a big strainer basket for the instant pot that I ordered from Amazon, that way I can just pull the whole basket out and put it in a sink filled with ice water, rather than pulling each egg out one at a time 😊

Our upstairs is currently under construction so I’m an without a kitchen. I have a microwave, crock pot and air fryer. We love hard boiled eggs so I have been making them in the air fryer.
I was glad to see that I'm not the only one who had a blooming onion fail, even though I used a smaller one. I've always wanted to try making a baked potato in the air fryer... well I mean I can't now since mine died, and I haven't gotten a replacement yet.

Brioche slider buns - pop in pre heated air fryer at 375 for 1 - 2 minutes. Brush lightly with melted butter and roll in cinnamon sugar mix. Pipe jam/nutella/custard into centre = at home hot donuts
May need to adjust time based on size of buns - mini / slider work best for this time
