This is EXACTLY how I choose to spend the 21 minutes I will have to myself today watching Rach of course! I have 4 year old twins so that 21 minutes they may be napping is actually sacred. The fact THIS is how I spend my teeny tiny break says so much..seriously
I think the reason the dough ratios were off is American Kool aid powder doesn't usually include sugar already in it so maybe they meant the concentrate of just Kool aid but in Canada it already has sugar or something?
The amount of dishes Rachel must have to clean after these videos, god love her!!!! 💗💗 Thank you for bringing us entertainment that we don't have to clean up!! :)
Something to keep in mind - sugar does more than sweeten in baking. It attracts and holds moisture, so just removing sugar from a recipe will alter both the taste and texture. Basically they'll probably end up quite dry. It'd probably be a better idea to find an existing savory recipe, like for cheddar biscuits, and try to adapt it to use Cheetos. If you still want a savory Cheetos baked good.
When you were making the rainbow grilled cheese, I was watching this with my husband and I said out loud at the same time you did, "If this works.." I was gonna say we gotta try it. But I ended up pausing the video and we both laughed out loud that you and I both said it at the same time. 😂 I never comment on videos, but thought that was too funny not to share! 😂
I definitely recommend cracking each egg into a separate thing before going into the bowl. Easier to remove shell pieces from a small glass etc and also you dont want to crack a rotten egg straight into a mix 🙌🏻
Agree! Makes me crazy to watch people do that. A percentage of eggs...especially farm ones...are bloody. I don't want to be fishing that out of my cake batter😝
I’ve made savory cookies before actually! They are thumbprint cookies and spicy jelly is placed in the middle. A savory cookie is weird to wrap your head around but everyone always loves them when I make them. The Cheezies cookies were totally reminding me of that.
My favorite thing about this video? Rach's white mixing bowl looks like a giant coffee cup and I am just filled with joy at the thought of that much delicious, fresh, hot coffee to enjoy.
Christopher was on the right track with hot sauce. I have a recipe for spicy cheddar thumbprints that use cheddar cheese(or any strong cheese) roll into balls, roll in finely chopped pecans (sorry Rachel,) and inside the thumbprint you put pepper jelly. They are always a huge hit.
I know that in Japan where the rainbow cheese toasties originated you can actually buy blocks of rainbow cheese. I might have tried to see if I could buy them in the UK. Sadly not.
I’ve had fried kool-aid at the fair and I’m pretty sure they sprinkle kool-aid powder on top of the fried kool-aid. Maybe mix powdered sugar with the kool-aid powder and put it on top like that? I know they also have a side of frosting I believe to dip the fried kool-aid in. I love fried kool-aid so either we just have different tastes or there was something that was done wrong.
Such a fun video of crazy unique recipes 😁 Definitely would love to see more like this. You never know what you'll discover 😃 And yes, as another person commented a "But better" series with you and Chris changing up recipes that "Would have been good 'IF' done like this" That'd be awesome 😄
I love your channel so much. I use some of your recipes to test out with my step daughter as a way to bond. I have a request, please consider making a video for recipes that have “hidden veggies” for kids.
9:20 it looks like bolinho de chuva, a snack we have in brazil. it's almost the same ingridientes but with no kool aid 😂 sometimes with banana and cinnamon, I think it's delicious !!
Maybe, if a Cheeze-it and a Red Lobster cheddar biscuit had a baby? I can understand Christopher wanting to go more savory with it. I’m now also seriously craving a good grilled cheese sandwich, not matter what colors are involved.
My son and I love the puff corn ones that look like over puffed popcorn. We can plow through a whole bag in minutes and hate ourselves for hours afterwards. 😂
the kool aid things are similar to a dish we have in Brasil, wich is called "Bolinho de chuva", I think you should try, we usually make them when it rains, hintz the name "Rain cake", they have cinnamon, sugar. THEY ARE DELICIOUS!!
You mentioned about eating the cookies blindfolded. It reminded me of the time you and Dibs ate food blindfolded and had to guess what it was. I think you need to do that again.
I love your videos. Suggest the fried koolaid might be fun into a funnel cake then drizzled with a thin koolaid frosting. The cheetos ..nix the sugar, add a savory spice. Frost with hot bacon jam.
17:27 Love that!! But where are the sprinkle stars? Umm just a thought 💭… maybe do thin slices of those cheeses and then do cookie cut outs, then dip them into colors.
Fair Style Kool-Aid looks like something we call Fried Mice. Doesn't have Kool-Aid in it, but it does have yogurt or sour cream and it actually tastes good.
I have to be in a certain mood for crunchy or puffy but honestly would devour either XD I feel like a yummy recipe fried would be Cheeto bits on chicken I think that’d be really good but maybe only fried so it doesn’t taste stale Love your vids!❤
Wize brand cheese puffs have a spicy honey flavor. And they are soooooo good!!! Wize also has a crunchy one. For some reason i like them way better than Chettos. The spicy honey is like a spicy bbq more than anything 🤤🤤
Love the videos but I'm quite shocked that you didn't use blue Kool-Aid! Lol and the brand of bread you're using... They make awesome burger and hotdog buns
Fun fact in the US koolaid typically comes in a very small packet with no sugar. On a recent trip into Canada I saw their koolaid comes in pretty big bags with the sugar already added. Not sure if either country has the other version
This was an amazing video concept and it really felt like 'whacky things to do in October, Halloween season!' Great theming, no notes, would watch more anytime 😊 .... From a fan stuck in tropical Australia, where Spring and Autumn don't happen and October is hot and summery 😔 who craves spooky, curl up with a good book on a cold day season from the very bottom of her soul 🩵💙
A tip For the Cheeto cookies another person I seen do this said it was better if you leave them in the fridge for a couple of days (after You cooked them) they age better it seems
That rainbow grilled cheese was a RAVE in my country few years ago. Can't believe you haven't eat them Rachel but still glad you tried it now. It's instaworthy, the seller would precut so you can do the cheese pull. For me personally, I don't really feel it was worth the price, it was expensive and the bread just wasn't good enough.
I started this video for my office snack. I was finishing a bag of Cheetos. I went really slow to make sure I still had Cheetos left for the cookies 😂😂😂
Rachel and Chris need to start a “but better” series for all of these recipes that didn’t quite work.
Yes!
Absolutely ❤
Yes please!!!
But she rarely follows the recipe? So how would that work?
Yas

1:38 puffs are superior🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
No crunchy Cheetos are superior!!! 🎉
I think the reason the dough ratios were off is American Kool aid powder doesn't usually include sugar already in it so maybe they meant the concentrate of just Kool aid but in Canada it already has sugar or something?
Cheeto puffs nowhere near as controversial as buttering a cream cheese bagel, haha! In fact, most people i know prefer them to crunchy
The amount of dishes Rachel must have to clean after these videos, god love her!!!! 💗💗 Thank you for bringing us entertainment that we don't have to clean up!! :)

Absolutely a round 2 is needed ❤

I can’t find the comment up ‘but better’ series sounds great!! Xx
I personally would love to see a part 2. It's very interesting
Youre definitely not alone in liking cheeto puffs over the crunchy!!! I feel the same way! They are so airy and light!!!
A Powerpuff Girls grilled cheese!
Also, hitting the egg on a flat surface instead of the rim of a bowl helps reduce the little shards of egg too!
I’ve made savory cookies before actually! They are thumbprint cookies and spicy jelly is placed in the middle. A savory cookie is weird to wrap your head around but everyone always loves them when I make them. The Cheezies cookies were totally reminding me of that.
I think that grilled cheese was beautiful,! I loved the vivid colors!!❤
Puffs are by FAR the superior Cheeto form.
Soooo much more superior than crunchy!!!
Thank you! Lol
I 100% agree
Nope, has to be crunchy for me 🤩
@@jamiegrimes2462 Idk. We are 3 to 1 for Puffs.

Those sound awesome!
You should do a "does it rice krispy" series. There are recipes that use different cereals, potato chips, and even...CHEETOS 🤣. Have fun!
That was absolutely the coolest grilled cheese I had ever seen thanks for that. 😊
I know that in Japan where the rainbow cheese toasties originated you can actually buy blocks of rainbow cheese. I might have tried to see if I could buy them in the UK. Sadly not.
Green grilled cheese would make great “Slime Sandwiches” for a kids Halloween party.
Maybe a kool-aid glaze would work better on top lol
Also for the cheetos, maybe cheetos biscuits lol
A kool-aid based funnel cake, instead of balls of dough, with said glaze? sounds very fall fair!
Or add Kool aid packets to the batter rather than the pre sweetened drink mix.
Or sprinkle the kool aid flavor on at the end instead of powered saucer? Or in addition to? Lol
Anyone else thinking while these recipes are being made. "Poor Chris has no idea what he is in for" 😂
AHHH my favorite part of my day is watching your videos
Such a fun video of crazy unique recipes 😁
Definitely would love to see more like this. You never know what you'll discover 😃

The white cheddar Cheeto puffs are my favorite!!

Yay I'm so excited to catch it right away this week! Love this series and all your content 😍💕🙌
9:20 it looks like bolinho de chuva, a snack we have in brazil. it's almost the same ingridientes but with no kool aid 😂 sometimes with banana and cinnamon, I think it's delicious !!
Mia Maples had a rainbow grilled cheese sandwich in Japan
LOVE Mia!
If you remove the sugar from the cookies, add more cheddar and add some heat you approach a southern favorite- cheese straws
14:08 😂😂Love ya Rach!!! Scary salad😂😂😂😂
This was super fun. Love it!!
Emmymade did Cheeto Crispy Treats with caramel bits, that looked so good that I'm going to make it this week!
Absolutely do round two! Rachel does them so we don't have to!
Maybe, if a Cheeze-it and a Red Lobster cheddar biscuit had a baby? I can understand Christopher wanting to go more savory with it. I’m now also seriously craving a good grilled cheese sandwich, not matter what colors are involved.
Yes! Definitely make a Round 2! This was fun! 🙂
Glad to see so many others in agreement on cheetos puffs! I love them so much more than the crunchy ones!
My son and I love the puff corn ones that look like over puffed popcorn. We can plow through a whole bag in minutes and hate ourselves for hours afterwards. 😂
@@DeathByBlonde1 OMG i forgot about those! Yeah they're phenomenal, especially the cheese one
This was a fun video. I love the different ideas you come up with. Please do another wacky foods video.
Loved this! Need more in my life
Great video guys, I thought of cheese scones too when I saw the Cheetos cookies, I reckon they'd be yummy without the sugar ❤
the kool aid things are similar to a dish we have in Brasil, wich is called "Bolinho de chuva", I think you should try, we usually make them when it rains, hintz the name "Rain cake", they have cinnamon, sugar. THEY ARE DELICIOUS!!
I look forward to watching your videos every Saturday ❤❤❤
Heyyyyy Rachel love your content!!! And you!!!
Chris pouring sauce on that cookie disrupts everything I knew to be right in this world... as if it being a Cheeto cookie wasnt enough 🤣😆
11:40 Mia Maples actually had the instagram viral rainbow grilled cheese while she was in Japan, it was super cool
The grilled cheese would be so cute for a baby shower appetizer 🩷💙
The colorful grilled cheese makes me think of the food fight in Hook. 😂
Love your videos! I guys are a fun couple to watch recipe trying. Wish u guys can do a live stream and try new cooking creations on it!
That grilled cheese with color looked awesome
Puffs are my most favorite!
Rainbow grilled cheese is totally a thing, and so fun for kids
Me as a Dutch person watching you making oliebollen - sorry "beignets" 😂
Yes,that! Only I don't use sugar in the dough, only on the outside.
My thoughts exactly! Also: we use yeast. Rach! Try 'oliebollen' next time, I'm sure you (and Chris) will love 'em.
You mentioned about eating the cookies blindfolded. It reminded me of the time you and Dibs ate food blindfolded and had to guess what it was. I think you need to do that again.
Cheetos twisted puffs were top tier. I wish they still made them.
Cheetos paws were the best puff that ever existed! 90s classic
9:28 definitely a tardigrade, Chris. Well done!
Yay recipes!! ❤🎉
I love your videos. Suggest the fried koolaid might be fun into a funnel cake then drizzled with a thin koolaid frosting. The cheetos ..nix the sugar, add a savory spice. Frost with hot bacon jam.
We do the colorful cheese sandwiches in Jamaica for kiddie parties.

I cant wrap my head around the cheeto cookies and colorful grilled cheese!!!
So happy I get to watch this I the first 10 mins ♡ i never get here this early!x
Yey more fun recipes pls
Fair Style Kool-Aid looks like something we call Fried Mice. Doesn't have Kool-Aid in it, but it does have yogurt or sour cream and it actually tastes good.
2:49 you didn’t name the food processor! Let’s name him Frank the food processor 😂
I was just gonna say it needed to be named!😂😂
Frank and Franny!
lol!! I was literally on my way to say the same thing!
I have to be in a certain mood for crunchy or puffy but honestly would devour either XD
I feel like a yummy recipe fried would be Cheeto bits on chicken I think that’d be really good but maybe only fried so it doesn’t taste stale
Love your vids!❤
Rainbow grilled cheese is common street food over here 🙌🏼
Fried butter is so good! They have it at our fair.
Puff over crunch always. Just like butter on toasted bagel FOLLOWED BY cream cheese!
i love your videos >3
Wize brand cheese puffs have a spicy honey flavor. And they are soooooo good!!! Wize also has a crunchy one. For some reason i like them way better than Chettos. The spicy honey is like a spicy bbq more than anything 🤤🤤
9:34 MANATEE 😂❤
Not even 3 minutes in and you saying “it’s mine mine” when the Cheeto dropped on the floor is so relatable lol
7:57 Christopher, you are from Finland? Do they have fairs, like county or state fairs like in America?
Love the videos but I'm quite shocked that you didn't use blue Kool-Aid! Lol and the brand of bread you're using... They make awesome burger and hotdog buns

There's a cookie place called Cookie Good in Santa Monica that makes Cheetos cookies that are really good.
I LOVE the Cheeto Puffs.
When you were grating the cheese since you had a ton to do, you should have used a grating disc on your food processor. Much quicker and easier.
A tip For the Cheeto cookies another person I seen do this said it was better if you leave them in the fridge for a couple of days (after You cooked them) they age better it seems
Kool aide pickles are common in the southern states.
Yelling Green eggs and Ham! 🤣

Fried dough? It's good!

Puffs are the best
I want to know what the original creator had been smoking when they not only dreamed up cookies made with Cheetos, but decided to post them!
Cheetos Puffs are deffinately the way to go I'm not a huge fan of the crunchy ones❕️❗️
The way I ran to this video with rainbow cheese😂
Banana upside-down cake. I saw one today and was just weirded out but it also looked good?
Fresh cheetos puffs are amazing
There is a Korean snack that is basically Cheeto Puffs dipped in sugar, and it's surprisingly good!
I honestly can't decide whether I would want to try the Cheetos cookies or not lol!
Now I want to try cheetos in Mac & cheese 🧀
The ground up cheetos might be good on popcorn?! 🍿🤔
I’m in Qc, Canada and we have a chain of restaurant here that serve all their burgers with a side of pickles fried in Kool Aid!

For the fried Koolaid maybe put the Koolaid powder with the powdered sugar
please remake the kool aid dough balls but add kool aid to your powdered sugar at the end!!
The koolaid things kinda looked like Oliebollen from the Netherlands :)
